How to Grow Anything Anywhere:

In the past, climate zone, slope, soil, and many other factors heavily influenced where we were able to grow things, and for how long each year.  Arable land was highly prized, sought after, and even warred for.  To stop most armies and nations, it was a simple matter of burning or contaminating what little farmland they had, and it took a very long time to repair it, not to mention to reestablish the plants and wait on the next harvest.

Today, however, thanks to our greater understanding of what plants actually need, we are able to grow them indoors, without any soil or sunlight, and with 1-2% of the water used by outdoor farms.  They grow just as healthily, provide us with just as many nutrients, and are vastly more suitable and desirable for the markets; nearly 100% of indoor harvests are approved for sale and consumption, while rarely as much as half of outdoor crops achieve this.  This is because of companies and products such as FreightFarms (shipping-container farms made for hydroponics) and Farmbot Genesis (printer-like garden-frames which handle the planting, watering, and weeding).  Their innovations allow farmers and gardeners to travel at length without worrying about their hard work wilting and coming undone, and allow us to grow in cities, deserts, tundra, the arctic, war zones, and even where damaging winds, hail, and droughts are common.

  • Do you have land already, or just a tiny apartment?
  • Are you in the countryside or a big city?
  • Is there an H.O.A. you need to cooperate with?

No matter where you are in the world, I will show you how to grow absolutely anything and everything you like to eat, sell, and otherwise put to use.  It starts with understanding your climate zone, and then exploring options for controlling that environment, such as acquiring or building your own FreightFarm.  If you have a few thousand dollars, you have everything you need to enjoy the output of a successful 2-acre farm… in only the area of a few parking spaces around the side of your house.

  • Just want to do food-producing plants?  No problem.
  • Interested in trying fragrant ones?  I can do that, too.
  • Considering aesthetic ones for landscaping?  Let’s go!

You’ll be surprised just how much you can grow –even in the tiniest and most restricted of spaces.  Even if you only have a basement or cave, you have plenty of room and opportunity to grow all the food you and your community will ever need, and you’ll likely still have a monthly –even weekly– surplus, which you can then take to market and sell on your own.
