Layout:  This is your rowdy-atmosphere hip-hop dance-off club built into a retrofitted warehouse.  Large speakers hang at angles high up on the walls, a DJ turn-table centered in front of a synced-lights scaffolding set-up is on the highest stage, and a large black dance floor is surrounded by brick walls, concrete pillars, and restaurant-style tables and chairs kept aligned near the walls.  Basketball backboards and hoops, along with springboards built down into a few small areas of the main dance floor, are part of the show and competitions; dances will sometimes work them into their routines, using them to gain extra ‘air’, sometimes taking off their hoodies or other garments and making slam-dunks before they fall back down.  It is a very lively place.

Gogos:  Break-dancing fused with gogo-dancing and dirty-dancing is what girls here do –as they flash gang-signs and turn their flat-billed ball-caps from side to side.  Lexy Panterra booty-dancing is also huge here, as is ‘getting crunk’ and ‘the Harlem Shake’.  You’ll regularly see girls doing handstands in little more than the shortest cut-off shorts and micro-skirts, their toes up on the walls, legs spread WIDE open, shaking their asses like the most open invitation.
