Other than cultural compatibility, one of the top focuses of the Inisfreean community and all its alliances is the extent to which bodies can be modified while still being compatible with the people of Inisfree. While things such as piercings, tattoos, and even cosmetic surgery are considered fairly normal to some Outlanders (namely humans), they are almost invariably banned in the Inisfreean realm; no one with unauthorized body modifications may get within thousands of miles of Inisfree or any of its private worlds. The few body modifications that are considered permissible by the Inisfreeans include regenerative procedures, such as skin-grafting for burn-victims, and hair-follicle removal via harmless lasers; these are considered minor and/or necessary (for health or recovery) body modifications.

Range of Corrective Measures the Inisfreeans Can Enforce:
*The minimum, recommended, and maximum sentencing and fines (usually in the form of females or free labor, since we don’t use money) are decided by Inisfreeans on a case-by-case basis, considering all factors of the given situation, never defaulting to unilateral or draconian decisions voted on by judges or masses based on previous cases or rulings.
- Typically, the minimum fine for a first offense is a warning, and there is no sentencing,
- while the recommended fine and sentencing are, respectively, indefinitely surrendering the sexiest human female crew member or relative of the members of the offending party/group/company (so that she be used as a sex slave for so long as she is pleasing and attractive to us), then (the offenders, not the confiscated/surrendered girl) serving “hard time” in a concentration camp made just to guarantee round-the-clock free and fully-monitored menial/unskilled labor from humans (and we have no “white collar” prisons or other “lighter touch” facilities for the economically-spoiled/pampered). Again, the logic and focus is: more of better-controlling the confused/demonic human, rather than attempting to fine it back into submission or other reasonable behavior. When fines are ordered, since we don’t use paper or metal money like humans do, only perfect females will do –just like how humans only accept perfect dollars/coins; no damage, missing pieces (such as faulty personalities, in the case of our ‘living currency’), etc..
- The maximum fine is always 100% of the female crew members AND relatives of the offending party; every female working with them AND known to them, which we are attracted to, and the maximum sentencing we put upon offending humans is, of course, death by torture (typically doing to them whatever they did to their victims, such as animals they exploit for “food”, clothing, or other animal products). Humans never learned in countless trials/tests/opportunities, so there is no point jailing/incarcerating them, nor is there any benefit to ‘rehabilitating’ them or putting them through other re-education programs. They have always been bullies, psychopaths, and monsters, and those creatures only understand and yield to greater force, thus the trial-less confiscations and torture employed to keep their lowly species in check now, once and for all. In some cases, though, lifetimes of torture, and the crippling and ‘glassing’ of entire worlds, is in order –and does occur.

Laws:
- Changing anyone’s gender/sex (such as a male having surgery to appear female) is completely forbidden. All humans who have undergone (or even scheduled) sex-change operations of any kind are subject to disintegration on-sight, and bounties (often in the form of local currency or slave-girls) are always available to anyone ready, willing, and able to go out and “negotiate” such abominations from any and all realms.
- No piercings (including ear-rings of any kind) –but it is ok to fix evil errors caused by parents not holding a proper vision during gestation or upbringing; piercing one’s body as part of a surgical procedure to correct a genetic issue/deformity is permitted, provided it is done in a proper setting, such as an operating room. See our Contraband page for further details.
- Tattoos are not allowed to be applied in Inisfree, though some tattoos are tolerated if already applied and healed from, so long as they are considered attractive by the king-and-founder of Inisfree. No face tattoos are allowed. Tattoos showing skulls or anything gross, wounded, violent, or cross-dressing are also forbidden here, as are “overly cute” and “offensive-to-everyone” tattoos. People with unapproved tattoos will be denied entry; they will be stopped at/in the Perimeter Wall’s “pearly gates” –though laser-based tattoo-removal is an option at that point, which would allow them to proceed in/through.
- Prosthetics are not allowed in Inisfree; anyone who comes to our city must be fully healed, functional, and self-stabilized. Cyborgs and robots, such as Geth and Transformers, are outside this category; their entire bodies are, from the start, robotic, not prosthetic. While there is no punishment for bringing a prosthetic into the Perimeter Orb or Inisfreean airspace, they will be detected and disintegrated before the airship containing it/them is able to land.
- Artificial eyes are also not allowed. Inisfreeans and the healers we have deified in our realm are available to restore/regrow any damaged/missing eyes, free of charge.
- Self-harm is absolutely forbidden, excepting rare cases when it may be the only option for removing implanted tracking devices or related tech’. Anyone found with “cutter” scars will need a psychological evaluation via by-mind interface with one of the Inisfreeans, and will need to have those scars healed/removed by one of our healers. This includes burn-marks from cigarettes or anything else. (Technically tattoos are also self-harm, but a few types of them are understandable, especially for cultures such as that of Pele’s people.)
- Teaching any human religious beliefs counts as illegal body modifications (because the mind is part of the brain, which is part of the body, and is not meant to be modified in the way human religions always modify or seek to modify it), and the penalty for attempting to convert anyone to any human religion (or to any modern mainstream “Western” healthcare belief/system, such as telling them that pharmaceuticals, chemotherapy, or vaccinations are good/effective/right/needed) is death on sight.
- Prescribing pharmaceutical products to anyone is also illegal attempted body modification, and any time a patient ingests a prescribed pill, or ingests any related “medicine”/product advertised on human TV, that is illegal body modification. Usually the manufacturer, advertiser, pharmacist, and/or doctor will be held accountable by the Inisfreeans, however sometimes the consumer can also be fined and sentenced for this illegal modification (as it often results in permanent thinking/brain damage, as well as deformed offspring, just to name a few of the many lifechanging, disgusting, and catastrophic side-effects which human fake doctors intentionally engineered into their shameful products).
- What was done to the kidnapped children in the Spartan program featured in the Halo game series/disclosure is a “gray area” in this field of law; those are body modifications done to low-level humans, and which resulted in the deaths of many undesirable humans, later on resulting in stronger, smarter, faster humans which helped hold back and kill off many creatures/beings across a sizeable area of Space which were also incompatible with the Inisfreeans, thus saving them the trouble, while keeping the participating/forced humans busy, distracted, and out of the Inisfreeans’ way. The human “Spartans” in that program never became anywhere near as powerful as the Inisfreeans, so their ongoing technology-crutch-based R+D was never banned.
- The type of body modification that results when vampires or werewolves sire someone, especially if that person is dying and consenting/begging for the modification, is completely permissible in Inisfreean law.
- Shapeshifting, such as into a wolf-humanoid / werewolf or other were-creature (were-panther, for example, etc.) is also completely permissible.
- Changing into anything the Inisfreeans find to be ugly or unattractive in any way (such as by sight or smell) is, however, not permissible, and those who become offenders in this section of Body Modification law can be fined, sentenced, or even “put down”. Don’t transform into a stinky blob or other abomination close in deformation degree to human offspring.
- Becoming pregnant is also illegal body modification, at least when in the visual presence or olfactory range of any Inisfreean; you are not allowed to be or even look pregnant anywhere an Inisfreean might see you, especially if you are in the Inisfreean territory (anywhere near Inisfree, not just inside its perimeter wall).
- Males who try to modify themselves to become pregnant will be shot on sight –if they aren’t fully de-atomized.
- Anything that results in loose, droopy, discolored, pierced, or otherwise unsightly labia/vaginas/assholes is illegal body modification; fuck accordingly, and keep your pussies tight, bald, presentable, appropriate.
- Adding a “grill” to your teeth is illegal.
- Implanting fake “devil” horns is illegal –and Inisfreeans will forcibly remove any such horns, if they don’t also just kill the offender.
- Even adhering stick-on fingernail extensions is illegal –not to mention disgusting and bizarre.
- Wigs are illegal body modifications.
- Face-paint is sometimes tolerated, but never when it is used like makeup.
- Generally, the only legal form of body modification is getting in great/better physical shape, such as by normal hiking and other healthy exercise. Appropriate haircuts and hair styling, including eyebrow shaping (but not over-plucking) is also approved. Light to moderate tanning is also tolerated, though natural complexions are preferred. (Removing freckles is also within the range of what we will accept as a minor/understandable modification.)
