Introduction:

This iconic building from Soviet Russia times has been honored with an architectural copy in Inisfree.  To be clear, this is not the entire Kremlin complex of buildings; only the most iconic and well-known of them has been built in our realm.  As state above, it is our very own St. Basil’s cathedral.

Those in its copy in Inisfree are not always Russians, though, and certainly not of the Russian authorities who once governed that distant northern land.  We don’t necessarily have anything against the current or former Russian authorities.  They simply come from another time, place, and background, their lifepaths and destinies lying elsewhere.

In Inisfree, only the perfectly formed and perfectly compatible (with us) are present in this and the rest of the structures of the Inisfreean realm, though the nicer Russian traditions are still frequently hosted and celebrated here.  Whenever a Russian outfit, dance, song, or meal, for example, are compatible with our culture, we enjoy practicing / continuing them in this building, especially during Russian holidays.  Here in Inisfree, you’ll often see the most beautiful Russian women (who are compatible with us, thus approved to be in Inisfree) and handsome Russian men (who are also compatible with us in their own way), and never anyone else/less.

Dimensions & Layout:

Our was set to be larger than the original, due to how narrow the passageways and chambers/churches of its namesake were.

Original:

  • ~125′ W
  • ~125′ D
  • ~214′ H
  • 8 narrow vertical hollow cylindrical rooms as a cluster of churches around the central room/chamber/cylinder
  • ~25′-diameter domes/roofs

Details about the original are here.

Ours:

  • ~250′ W
  • ~250′ D
  • ~428′ H
  • 8 wider vertical hollow cylindrical rooms as a cluster of event-rooms around the central room/chamber/cylinder, each of these 9 distinct parts of the building having 5 apartment-sized suites of rooms up in its turnip-shaped roof/top
  • ~50′-diameter domes/roofs; 1,963.5 sq.ft. per floor/level in them, and 5 floors/levels, thus ~65,449.85 cubic feet per dome/roof, and 45 apartments/suites for the whole building (meaning room to easily house 5 people comfortably in each apartment/suite; 225 residents-capacity)
  • spiral staircase up the inside wall of each of the 9 buildings, making each like a big AIOW, just without the other typical AIOW features; no ‘lifts’, ladders, ropes, slides, or ziplines here

The rest of our Kremlin:

We included some of the original elements of Russia’s Kremlin;

  • the citadel/fortress-like perimeter-wall,
  • a Tsar-style cannon
  • a Tsar-style bell (without the gold plus-sign / cross on top)

but the focal point of ours is this scaled-up version of St. Basil’s, in Inisfree large enough that it is considered a palace-like hotel, not a church.

Details; Decorations:

The original had Abrahamic (Xian) art in and atop it; all death-cult paintings and symbols inside, and a cross as the steeple of each dome/roof.

Obviously none of that is allowed in our realm, as we only tolerate things which help people hold a vision of life, health, and so on, so in our version of this building… there are Inisfreean versions/equivalents of each of this cathedral’s pieces; the saints are all form-sakes, their robes are diaphanous or not worn/depicted at all, and there are no cross/crucifixes of any kind.  The colors are also happier, not the dark/dim ones throughout the original building.  Atop each dome/roof is a golden statue of a life-size naked girl with angelic wings; we worship health, beauty, nature, and good beings, not death, hurtful devices, sacrifices, or upsetting moments.

Access:

If you are new to Inisfree, any Inisfreean girl (ICV) will escort you here and through.  If you are a returning guest or resident, you may visit this copy of the Kremlin on your own.  For distinguished guests and residents of Inisfree, there is the option to maintain a personal residence in one of the rooms or suites inside this glorious structure.

Design:

Just double that size, put suites in the roofs areas, and you’ve got the idea.

Structure:

Ours still looks the same as the original from the outside, at least in terms of overall form and color scheme.

The Wall:

The wall around our Kremlin looks less like the one around Moscow’s, and more like the one around Novgorod’s.
