Introduction:

Downtown Inisfree is known as Sotu, and it has a tall perimeter wall encircling it, keeping its many lights from causing ‘light pollution’ for the surrounding themed areas. At the outside base of this encircling wall is a crystal-clear Caribbean-colored moat; its water is clean, swimmable, and always an inviting-looking light-blue. Pod-boats (like larger, more luxurious versions of pod-beds) are anchored along it.

Dimensions & Layout:

This moat is 6.28 miles long; it is the circumference of the downtown area (including the thickness of its perimeter wall), that downtown area (with its wall) spanning ~2 miles in diameter). It is ~66′ wide at all points, and ~10′ deep. Its outer shore has a gradually-sloping white-sand ‘bank’, and its inside curve has no shore; there is only the steep/sheer perimeter-wall of downtown Inisfree rising up right there.

Current:

The water moves slowly in this moat, keeping it stirred, thus alive and well; it is traveling at roughly 5 MPH, counter-clockwise. This allows people to ‘float the river’ here, though few do; most stay inside their pod-boats –which are anchored, unmoving. The current of this moat is regulated by devices built into it, all of them out of sight of passersby.

Vessels & Occupancy:

There is room for thousands of pod-boats here, and no other watercraft are allowed; not sailboats nor jet-skis, or anything else in between. Each pod-boat has room to comfortably seat/house a few people, so the population/capacity of this moat at any time is at least ~6,000 human-sized people, and as many as tens of thousands. Add sightseers and people just strolling or jogging along the outer shore/bank, and that number can go toward ~100,000.

2022 Update:

King Auz has sensed that it is time he start ‘christening’ each one of these boats with at least one ICV or other girl using/living in them a piece. At the rate of ~one a week, he expects this moat-christening process/project to take ~half a century. This is Inisfree.
