Note from the Editor:

I’m homeless… again.  I actually lost track of how many times I’ve been left homeless at this point, all thanks to a literally-insane ‘family’, equally-insane people in charge of all the programs I volunteered to help with, insane bosses, insane landlords, insane roommates (including several who were in actual CULTS), and on and on.  I studied my ass off, worked my ass off, lived responsibly as fuck, and still I ended up like this.  At least I can say with confidence it was never my fault, and I always had just enough saved up to make through each ‘slump’.

How was I homeless this time?  It happened when I couldn’t find even basic construction sub-contractor work during the Spring, which meant I couldn’t afford to even rent a ROOM, much less a full apartment.  Everything fit in the back of my Jeep, so there it went, and off I went, on to the next suck festival.

I wasn’t homeless for long, but it sure is sobering no matter how long it lasts.  You start making calls and reassessing like woh.  Your body naturally stays in extra-focused overdrive until you figure something out and catch a break.

I’ll probably be homeless again, based on how people tend to behave in every city I’ve been to, but I guess that’s just how it goes in this time between the worst and what’s to come.  Thankfully, I would start to learn there are ways to be homeless comfortably and by choice,  There were even hotties who’d chosen this lifestyle, not seeing it as something negative at all.

The more I thought about it, the more I realized how mobile and free it made me.  I was saving a TON of money, too; no rent, utilities, Internet bill, trash pickup, greenbelt fee, property taxes, you name it.  My budget was MUCH more flexible when I didn’t have a typical human home.

Poking Fun at Fake News:

Another article claiming to call out organizations for fake news / lies:  this one.  The biggest problem I see here?  It is, like almost EVERY site online these days, COVERED in ads/spam, all of them flashing away, doing their best to distract you from even reading a single sentence, all wanting money, all channeling a few pennies of that money back to the person in charge of this article and site… who agreed to put them there.

Those ads aren’t handpicked by the people in charge of the sites they appear on; they have fake offers, they include fake news, and they are approved by lazy and fake people.  If they are on a site, in any form or amount, the site itself can be classified as full of fake news, even if some of the points a few of its articles make… check out.
