A few months before I relocated back out of Montana, I had a roommate who was in a cult. The psycho kept trying to recruit me for it, claiming if I and many others didn’t start believing everything the leader, who was some no-name dude in India, said… then we’d all be dead… by that very winter. Ooooo. Sca-wy.
Religious fanatics were nothing new to me, so I disregarded all the crazy talk and just carried on with my work, keeping all my stuff locked up in my Jeep. Then the creep tried to extort far more than the agreed-upon rent out of me, started insulting me in front of guests, talked nonstop shit about former roommates, and even illegally changed the locks on me, forcing me to call the police to let me in so I could get the last of my stuff out –and be homeless again. Time to go.
Now you can understand why there are so many anti-religion jokes here in MKM, and why religion is banned in Inisfree. I never met a single good religious person; they were always obsessed with some book or figure or idea, not caring at all about the great people right in front of, and all around them. That rude brainless shit is over with.

Another example of singling out a competitor country, instead of doing honest reporting: this. The U.S. and all countries have always been known for propaganda, and for propaganda surges during the times leading up to all their fake elections. This is a tactic used to get people to participate, which helps them get tallied and tracked, and which keeps them convinced their active participation and emotional releases/outbursts are somehow tipping the scales in their favor. In other words, it keeps them busy, their locations known, negativity spewing out in all directions from them as they mindlessly compete, none manning up to face the reality that their contributions don’t really affect the system or progress at all.
