Note from the Editor:

The shitty trailer numbered 54… was where I spent my last few months near Canada.  How badly it stank… after I accepted all that free furniture from the abandoned trailer across the trailer-hood.  I’ll never make that mistake again.

Like I always do, I networked, got some help furnishing and touching the place up, did my best to enjoy it while I was stuck there, and stood ready at all times to abandon the place; I was still dealing with crazies showing up and spoiling every relocation, job, and outing, so I knew something was coming, no matter what I chose to do.  I was glad I wasn’t homeless, and had a place all my own, but damn if living in a fucking trailer wasn’t the most frightening and depressing thing ever.  I guess we all have to experience rock-bottom for a while.

Also like I do, I noticed its address was the same as the name of that famous club now popularized in a movie.  Was this some sort of sign I was still on track to manifest all the clubs I’d started designing and telling people about?  I had mentioned at least the fire-station one to the first group of roommates I’d had in this mountainous state, and they had said it was so well thought-up that I should have had awards by then.

I have no idea what happened to trailer 54.  I left one night and never looked back.  All I could do was leave a farewell note for the landlord, doing my best to explain how things had again forced me to move on –neighborhood shootings being one of them –just like those I’d lived through while staying in that rat-hole apartment in Norfolk, Virginia.

Inisfree now has a neighborhood with living-modules similar in shape/form to those of the trailer parks.  Its are brand new and luxurious, though, and are actually expensively retrofitted shipping containers called Conex boxes, not unlike the white kind we sometimes lived in when we were on the larger bases of Iraq.  MKM has some touched-up traces of the trailer-parks and container-homes, too; they make for endless jokes.

Poking Fun at Fake News:

It’s logical to question ‘elected’ ‘leaders’, especially when they themselves admit to using occasional mis-direction, but this is still fake news for several reasons; its source is mainstream, giant, paid off, and biased, and it distracts from real news… which never happens in politics or the mainstream; it happens on the local level, from real (honest/normal) people.

Of course on all levels there are people who lie, and who do that for very many reasons, sometimes even out of a notion that it is required for self-preservation in the face of overwhelming odds.  Now imagine how much more that is the case… when you are in the public spotlight, in charge of millions or billions of people and dollars and more, with entire careers and lives and even peace and wars hanging in the balance; you’d like just like all our leaders do, and you’d better believe they are lying, and are being pressured to lie, all the damn time.  Now go back in the small, simpler, local direction of that spectrum; you see how much more reliable things are at that level now?  Even when they aren’t, they’re still vastly easier to trace, make sense of, and set right.
