I kept being shown the most remote and picturesque countryside portions of this state, plus some of its no-longer-active research-stations/towns, its unique terrain region, and more.

Table of Contents:

  3. Phase 3

  7. Ancient Ruins

Phase 1:

During Phase 1, I entered this state from its southeast, driving down from Montana with my roommate at the time, helping him during his quest to acquire a better dirt-bike.  Craters-of-the-Moon, and Atomic City (2014 or 2015 while helping Michael Rice get his new dirt-bike), were among the many places we passed and dared to explore.  I only ever saw one babe, though, and from a distance.

Phase 2:

As Phase 2 began, I got to return, this time seeing the northern part I’d once planned a waterfall get-together at for some magically-inclined friends from Italy, Mongolia, and a few other realms around the world.  Coeur d’Alene revealed to me half a dozen hotties and a few other great things, and I had a much more relaxing time, moving at my own pace, making plenty of side trips, and not having to go out the same way I came in.

Sunday 12 May, unexpected brief return, had familiar vegan items from Allie’s, etc.
–all signs still saying “Phase 2; skip what sucked last time in this phase”
–new faves:  Lewiston Hill Overlook, and Clearwater Valley Vista; both great spots overlooking Lewiston and horizon of rolling green farm hills terrain

Phase 3:

Phase 3 promises to reveal all the remaining hotties of this land, and I will surely be enjoying them back in the forested panhandle near lakeside Coeur.  I am really looking forward to that, and I might even let them bake for me their best potato recipes; this state is known for that, after all.  Why wouldn’t I partake?  I can bend on my Paleo baseline for them.

2023 October/+ Updates

Additional Notes:

Twice now, I have resorted to this state while avoiding polar vortexes, protecting my equipment.
Twice now, I have been right on the edge of the touristy sand dunes region.

Nicest Neighborhoods:

  • likely in Eagle, ID (Ada county)
  • likely in Sun Valley, ID (Blaine county)
  • specifics TBA

Vegan Restaurants and Shops:

in Boise:

  1. High Note Cafe
  2. Vegan Soul

in Coeur d’Alene:

  1. Allie’s vegan pizzeria
  2. RÜT Bar & Kitchen

in Sandpoint:

  1. Heart Bowls

How disappointing that I’m only seeing 3 healthy restaurants in this entire state!  I guess Idahoans love their animal abuse, unnecessary health problems, and shameful mortality.

Ancient Ruins:

  1. 2 mntns sw of Malad, Idaho; they had horiz’ lines during the (visible/distinct because of) apr2024snow
  2. Civil Defense Caves (lava tubes that go on for miles)
  3. Craters of the Moon (rubble from a war?)
  4. Ice Caves a few miles N of Civil Defense Caves; Island Park, ID  83429
  5. Lake Coeur d’Alene (possibly flooded/filled to cover up something)
  6. Lost River (2 parts:  Big Lost River, and Little Lost River) –goes 100+ miles underground
–Was this not an ancient process, as was claimed, but an intentionally diverted river to flood/conceal ruins in the “lava tubes” (pre-human subway tunnel/system)?
Let’s re-divert this river to find out.
  7. Piney Peak:  2024apr2tue 1:50pm noticed it looks like a World Tree surrounded by ruined giants blds
  8. St. Anthony sand dunes region
