Introduction:

Jordan came as a possible add-on to my half-month Israel tour, and it allowed me to hike down to the Djinn-made canyon-city of Petra, where I rode a donkey down the side-less hand-carved stone cliff staircase back to the awaiting camels and horses.  I met a Djinn woman living high up on top of the Petra plateau, and she had the most wonderful aura and mind about her, giving me a special stone as a gift and acknowledgment of why I had come.  I look forward to when I can return under much better conditions, stay for much longer, and get down into the underground and horizon-distant sections of her ancient city, meeting the rest of her people and befriending them all.  Petra and Jordan, my hat is off to you.  Thank you for inviting me into your realm.  It made my time orienting to the region that much more enjoyable, and you have captured my curiosity and heart for generations to come.

Then there is also that curious matter of how one of the sexiest girls in my high school was named after this land.  I’ll always remember her complexion, and that bright-yellow Jeep she drove.  Wow…
