Why we have multiple queens here: Inisfree is the nexus and capital of the Universe, not just one country; there are often many visiting and vacationing dignitaries, including the top royalty from many realms. Since our culture, religion, and law only permit the most well-formed (inside and out) females to represent their kinds, more than 90% of those who come here are girls and women; princesses and queens.
What the level above queen is: high-queen, as you might have heard. A queen is in charge of her country, at least in lands with a matriarchy. A high-queen is in charge of multiple countries. Think of her like a Grand Admiral, or a 5-star General; they rarely exist except during times of war and alliances, and are temporarily promoted just one rank above what the usual max is, thereby giving them just enough sway over the top-ranking officials from the countries cooperating on their task forces. Again, Inisfree is a meeting place for people from many countries and worlds, so it makes sense for our top female royalty to be not only a queen, but a high-queen.
A little about my top wife, High-queen Ambi: Her full name is Ambrosia LeMorte, and she was being groomed for leadership as a regent at the castle I met her in, where she now reins as queen. She has experience in mid- and upper-level management because of that grooming, and can often be found reading and signing a pile of paperwork for her kingdom, ever the dutiful woman. I cannot speak enough of her bravery in letting me take her to Inisfree when it was still being built, or of her otherworldly timeliness, always speaking up or showing up at the perfect time, never once interrupting me. She has many other talents and skills, some of which are trade secrets, and has a very warm and fun side which I have been fortunate to have been around. With her, I will be starting a traditional family. We have not yet decided when that will be, but we both can sense it is coming.
Her coronation here went off without a hitch; after completing the tour and receiving my military’s formation shout at the Welcoming Square, she leapt from the top of Inisfree’s anti-avalanche wall where our central mountain drops off down toward the high end of our alpine tree-line and canopy. We wing-suited down to the main lake’s near-side beach, got married there barefoot in the warm moist sand, and honeymooned on the yacht I’d prepared for her as her first welcoming gift, retreating up to our suite in Cloud City II the day after. She has since been recognized by every Inisfreean, and made our house up over the beach cliff a home.
What this means for you, WGI, and the rest of Inisfree: Ambi will be working with us to 1) keep her realm protected against human interference, 2) get some of our products to her people without noticeably altering their beliefs or level of technology, and 3) ensure I’ll be in a much better mood, more and more so, in the years ahead, she having come back into my life for good after about half a decade when we’d been separated leading up to The Shift. Ambi is now one of our advisers and family.
While no authorities exist in Inisfree other than my own, Ambi still deserves your respect as the queen she is in her castle, and as the high-queen she is here. She works hard, is very professional, and has her heart in the right place. I can see why they chose her as regent and queen out there, and I am sure you will see why I chose to have her high-queen coronation here.
