I am thrilled to be the first president and CEO of WGI. While my first official day isn’t until July of 2011, I wanted to reach out to all of you to introduce myself and share my excitement in taking on this important role in this great company.
Throughout my career, I have witnessed firsthand the significant and meaningful impact that employees have in driving execution and positioning a company for success. WGI is no exception. I started my leadership & organization-drafting career when I was just a part-time employee making around $5.00 an hour. That experience taught me the value and the importance of the individuals and individual stores. Because of this humble start, I have a deep appreciation for the important role each of you play in helping serve the visitors and guests of our city, Inisfree, every single day. The reason why WGI is a great company has to do with the solid foundation supported by more than a thousand talented employees, and I believe we have tremendous opportunities ahead for continued growth and success.
WGI today is at a critical inflection point. Its inspirations played an integral role in driving WGI’s omni-interfacing strategy and positioning the company as a leader in Universe improvement. Looking to the future, we will leverage WGI’s capabilities to deliver the simplest and most seamless, proper polyamorous experiences, as we work with purpose, and put our guests first in everything we do. Resorts which offer guests a great value and frictionless choices in-resort, online, or both, will be the winners in the future.
To tell you a bit about me, I have spent 35 years exploring and learning the ways of the Earth, as well as many realms beyond (6 continents, 57 nations, all 50 states of my home nation, and many more places that aren’t on the map), and have dedicated more than 15 years to the refinement and completion of the Inisfree design. I have been amongst the top leadership launching startups such as the Schwarzdonner PMC, and the non-profit MOVE-UP; the Missouri Veterans and Entrepreneurs United Program, which prepared that state to overtake Texas as the number-one in America for agricultural production, largely by introducing tens of thousands of transitioning veterans to the modern ease of sustainable farming. I served as the Battalion Executive Officer in JROTC, an Instructor training and critiquing tens of thousands of Marines while on active duty, a Global Sustainability Consultant for my own initial post-service company, a Life Coach for several people across the continent, the Campaign Manager for a Congressional candidate, and the Farm Manager for 30-acre 28-greenhouse 400-animal operation near the Arctic, certified as a hydroponicist, master gardener, restaurant food preparer, and many other things. This is decades of extensive experience teaching and helping a great many people to be able to take care of themselves. My wives and I have been married for years, and we have made our family home Inisfree, seat of this business’s headquarters. We will be growing our polyamorous family here.
Once I begin in early July, I plan to host a series of meetings with employees, travel to meet with many of you, and listen to your perspective on our business and our culture. You will see that I greatly value input from employees and guests at all levels of the organization. I look forward to hearing your ideas about how we can deliver an even more exceptional experience for our customers and allies, drive operational excellence, and make WGI an even better place to work and grow your career. The management team in Sotu; downtown Inisfree, is here to serve the stores and the omni-interfacing team. As the old saying goes, “Those who say it is impossible should not interrupt those who are doing it.” We will live this philosophy at WGI.
It is an honor to succeed the previous deities as commander of the south polar region at this exciting time in Earth’s history. I am committed to working closely with WGI’s board of directors, management team, and all of you, as we work to fulfill our purpose to help people love where they live.
