Roles of queens historically have included adviser, ambassador, courtesan, dignitary, expedition financier, mother, peacekeeper, wife, and many others. Queens, like some First Ladies (wives of the Presidents), have unified once-opposing nations, promoted numerous healthy programs for their peoples, and pushed for understanding even in times of great discord. Sometimes taking a secondary role, letting their husbands stay in the limelight leading the way, these exceptional women achieve great feats rarely otherwise attained except by heroes and saints.
What queens do here in our city: All who make it to Inisfree are the best of their people, both physically and mentally, and we make no exception for royalty; the queens and princesses who are granted access to Inisfree are the most beautiful and intelligent of all their high caste. Their presence here goes beyond just the obviously health- and satiety-promoting nature of their good looks and eloquent charm; female royals in our city play hostess to other uppermost-level representatives, at our biggest galas, and in our largest estates. They help us handpick the rest of the finest of their kind back home, spreading our wisdom and intent to those special ladies, and helping them to feel safe and comfortable about coming here to see what we’re really all about; when an actual queen vouches for us, that word carries a lot of weight, and goes a very long way.
When we have the participation and vouching of the highest-ranking female members of outside civilizations, this guarantees the support (sometimes even the blind faith) of those populations. Inisfree has enjoyed incredible amounts of donations (both of money and supplies), volunteer work, and even the pledges of fighting forces up the scale of armies and armadas, all thanks to the meaningful bonds and relationships we have established with the best queens from around the world and out across Space. Queens have bridged the critical gaps between us and all other realms, bonding and uniting ours with theirs like only they of their gender could.
