Powers:

Ability: Isabella can control sand and transform her body into a living sandstorm. Highly dangerous, as she could kill if trapping another inside her storm. She has the ability to break locks, short out electronics, mess up radars, blind opponents or strip away flesh. She can phase in and out of that state at will.

Weakness: Sand form is vulnerable to extremes of heat, which will cause her to crystallize into glass, essentially paralyzing Isabella. She is also highly affected by water and wind and cold as they cause natural disruption to sand. Like other transmorphs, she will revert to her normal human form if exhausted or knocked unconscious.

Telepathic & Magical Resistance: While in her sand form, Isabella is hard to detect or influence by telepaths or magic users. However, she can be contained by a shield and held in place.

Physical Attributes: Skin, bone, and muscle are augmented so it’s stronger and harder than human- impervious to normal physical attacks.

Details:

Daughter of a U.S. Senator, Isabella grew up in a very pampered and privileged life –even though she had never known her true mother. She has also never known want, but was careful not to let it spoil her like the other rich girls she knew from school and social scenes. Committing herself to her studies and sports, she became a very eligible young woman.

When her powers manifested at the onset of puberty, her father pulled her out of her private school and hired tutors to homeschool her until he could figure out how to proceed; he was protective –of both his beloved beautiful and brilliant daughter… and his skyrocketing career. That was when a bald man in a wheelchair showed up, his mutants-detecting radar-like device elsewhere in New York having spotted her. Isabella and her father both decided they could trust the unexpected man, and she switched from her tutored homeschool lessons… over to Xavier’s ‘high-risk ward’ (where they keep new mutants who still have to get the hang of their powers).

Years later, …and her power had stabilized; no longer was she shifting into it during heightened emotional or painful moments, then panicking and passing out, waking up on her estate’s floor. Isabella had been taught a great variety of clever mind-tricks and other techniques. She could choose when to transform herself, and knew exactly how to wield her gift/sand-appendages in several ways.

She didn’t know about the Sandstorm techno song until Auz introduced her to it, and she keeps it on her phone for fun. It also reminds her of him… and their first amazing night together. She let him play it while they bonded completely, and she laughed so much when he told that joke about how worried he was that she’d sandpaper his cock off; it was the first joke about her powers she’d felt was innocent and worth appreciating (and maybe she felt that way because of his calming power and true love for her, but she didn’t mind).

2020 Update:

Roughly one decade later, and Isabella is now a regular at Inisfree. She always relaxes in her Neighborhood (Borg-inspired) Cube apartment-suite there, preferring how clean and stylish the whole building is –and how away from the sand of all the beaches it is. She and Auz have had many a loving and relieving day and night in that place, and it always makes her smile when she opens its front door to step back in.

Sometimes she gives him information about the political goings-on back where she is from, and she represents her father and his ‘party’ within the customary guidelines of Inisfree. She’s also voluntarily given the Inisfreeans information about all the hot rich girls she knows, knowing they will treat them like royalty and goddesses whenever they are respectful. No passive or clandestine mind-surfing into/through her was ever needed (though she is always open to it, loving and trusting Auz and his people so/that much).

Every now and then, she and Auz reserve a room over in the Luxor II, and make another whole evening, night, and morning of it, christening its bed, floor, chairs, and shower. Sometimes they even invite her favorite kajirae in from the on-call staff down the hall.

“Sandstorm” continues to practice her mastered superpower/s across Inisfree’s desert plateaus. She’ll soon start joining Auz’s expeditions out to the Sahara, Gobi, and Atacama, among other deserts, helping them clear away dunes from ruins they detect are there, and sometimes helping them rapidly cover sites back up (for security, concealment, and preservation; buried things don’t erode much at all).

2022:

She and Auz have made it one of their couple goals to ‘christen’ every single one of his Ceiling Mansions, plus the Cloud City II auditorium used for Inisfree’s Global Congress, plus every wing and bookshelf aisle in the Library of Congress II; they are on a mission to make the best memories together in all of Inisfree’s government-related and government-inspired places. They figure meeting for a quickie in one of those places every week or two will be the right pace for them. They’ve even decided to sneak in one of those quickies during the next session of the Global Congress; they’ll be silently fucking in one of the back pews while the Congressgirls are discussing and volunteering for things right in front of and beside them. (Hey, this is Inisfree; that’s normal.)

After that, they’ll also start making love to each other out inside the city in government places –in secret; they’ll be using their abilities to sneak into famous Outlander buildings, such as the U.S. Capitol building, the White House, Buckingham palace, and many more. They’re even toying with the idea of sneaking into and ‘christening’ every single state capitol building as a sort-of on-again-off-again road-trip they’ll complete in brief waves of portal-ing and driving around. Once they pull off all that, they’ll likely discuss how to do the same off-world, too; there are SSP/ICC government offices on nearby planets and moons, in the bigger Space stations, etc., and why not?

Their pièce de résistance of this marital campaign will be when they manage to clandestinely portal into the U.S. President’s “Beast” limousine when it isn’t in use, and fuck for at least several minutes before portal-ing back away. Don’t think they can? Auz once, even before he had any powers he was aware of, pulled off such a feat in the Admiral’s private quarters near the top of one of the biggest nuclear super-carriers when it still had plenty of sailors in it (and that was even years before he’d started Inisfree).
