Introduction:
When her dad, Auz, decided/sensed it was time to move to New Eden for a while, he picked a world in the Space territory of his favorite human race out there, the Amarr, but not too close to their central star-systems (where he knew the most politicking and warfare would be). After a few decades of developing his land on the temperate third planet in the Soliara system, he had a successful ranch from which other businesses were now spreading. Zed’ was ‘born’ there at that established time, and spent a few years attending a nearby normal human school before getting out into Space to see what that species was up to ‘down’ there (as Inisfreeans and Auz see Space as being down, not up).

Dimensions:
Originally just one acre, thanks to his amazing, tireless, devoted ICVs –and a growing number of drones/robots acquired from a nearby Soliara III city, over the decades this property has grown to now include thousands. Some 2,000 acres is equal to 3.125 square miles. In other words, while Zed was growing up here, her backyard was as big as a small town, and her friends and other neighbors all lived at least a mile down the road.
With just Auz and a few of his ICVs hiking around to pick out where they wanted to start this home and local-business headquarters here on Soliara III, it wasn’t until some months later that they were hiring their first employees and receiving their first donated slaves. A year or two later, and they’d brought on board, trained, and housed thousands more, having had so much room to expand out in all directions into the surrounding wilderness, the nearest city being some 50-60 miles away. There were never more than a few thousand people living and working at this ranch, though; all the rest in their growing staff/collection kept being distributed to new business facilities elsewhere on Soliara III and then beyond.

Buildings/Facilities:
Her family cabin was the first thing built on this land. It was then joined by a workshop and greenhouse, then other structures to support more crops, more drones, more workers, more guests, and eventually… slaves and horses. Today you will see all of the following out here:
- airstrip
- armory
- barns (some for animals, some for harvested crops, some for vehicles)
- benches (along trails, around the lake, etc.)
- boathouses
- biodomes
- campsite shanties/cabins
- cisterns
- clinics (one for humans, another for other animals, and still another for any injured/diseased plants)
- container farms (shipping containers used as mobile mini-farms / grow-rooms)
- fountains (often in roundabouts)
- garages (for maintenance of farm vehicles –each with an industrial 3D-printer to make spare vehicles/parts/tools)
- gatehouses / guardhouses
- gazebos
- geothermal powerplant (miniature; house-sized)
- gifts shop
- grain silos
- haybales maze
- houses (one for each non-slave family who is frequently here)
- hydroelectric turbines (not a full dam; just portable generators along/in some creeks and the river)
- ‘insect hotels’ (to help the pollinators)
- lodges (some near the lake, some up in the nearby mountains to serve as ski resorts, etc.)
- nurseries (for seeds and saplings / starters, as well as for flowers, etc.)
- outdoor equestrian/riding training area (fenced in)
- perimeter fences and walls (concentric barriers which keep out wildlife even if they can jump high or far)
- petting zoo
- ranger towers (mostly to watch for any brushfires / forest fires)
- restaurant
- solar-panels array/field
- storm cellars / bunkers (with connecting tunnels)
- swimming pool (with tanning beds and picnic tables)
- vault
- wells
- windmills
Stables will be coming soon. Even though there are a few dozen horses on this ranch, they are kept by individuals; they are at some of the houses and other structures, and not yet together in a stable.

- aloe vera and other medical-use plants (not drugs)
- cover crops
- flowers
- fruits
- landscaping plants
- nut trees
- pollinator attractors
- spices
- succulents
- syrup trees
- vegetables

Guests/Visitors:
If you are thinking about meeting some more of Zed’s family here, or just coming out for a long weekend or proper vacation, you’ll have a lot of help from the skilled staff with planning your itinerary, booking flights and arranging other transportation, picking the right guest-house and corner/area of the property suited to your tastes, and so on. Guests arrive through the front gate or airstrip, and are shown how to find the main house, lodge, restaurant, and clinic. All your needs and wants will be taken care of out here –and you can even rent/reserve slaves for your maid/cleaning and hygiene/bathing needs.
