Tungel:

  • Orbital Distance:  N/A AU
  • Orbital Period:  85.8 Earth-years
  • Keplerian Ratio:  N/A
  • Radius:  11,539 km
  • Day Length:  42.4 Earth-hours
  • Atmospheric Pressure:  2.0 atm
  • Surface Temp:  242 °C
  • Surface Gravity:  1.9 g
  • Mass:  6.173 Earth-masses

Tungel is a massive terrestrial world, nearly twice the size of Earth, with a dense atmosphere of nitrogen and ethane. Its scorching hot surface is mainly composed of iron, with extensive deposits of heavy metals and radioactives. It is a mineralogical treasure trove, and many corporations are lobbying for mining rights.

Matol:

  • Orbital Distance:  N/A AU
  • Orbital Period:  207.3 Earth-years
  • Keplerian Ratio:  N/A
  • Radius:  4,077 km
  • Day Length:  34.6 Earth-hours
  • Atmospheric Pressure:  0.49 atm
  • Surface Temp:  33 °C
  • Surface Gravity:  0.5 g
  • Mass:  0.203 Earth-masses

Several attempts to chart Matol have been made, but none have been successful. By normal standards a small rock planet, Matol has a dense atmosphere composed of carbon dioxide and argon, with a surprising amount of water vapor. Fogs and rain are common on the barren, lifeless surface.

Matol is pleasant enough to be considered a terraforming prospect, though its low mass and high radiation from the energetic blue star Herschel place it fairly far down on the list.

Clugon:

  • Orbital Distance:  N/A AU
  • Orbital Period:  1,013.71 Earth-years
  • Keplerian Ratio:  N/A
  • Radius:  17,988 km
  • Day Length:  19.2 Earth-hours
  • Atmospheric Pressure:  N/A atm
  • Surface Temp:  N/A °C
  • Surface Gravity:  N/A g
  • Mass:  N/A Earth-masses
  • Satellites:  ~100

Clugon’s hydrogen-helium atmosphere is given a fairly dramatic emerald tint by chlorine and ionized gases. It has nearly 100 moons.

Properties
The system is no older than 10 million years and the planet is far too small to be a gas giant (although, to their credit, the designers did not claim explicitly that this planet was a gas giant). Clugon is likely a large terrestrial planet; a Tungel with thicker cloud cover. In another system it would attract enough matter and gas to become a Neptune or even a Saturn, but this one will go supernova first.

MSV Fedele:

The Fedele is a Kowloon class modular conveyor of human design. In addition to the standard cargo bay, the hull has several biological research modules attached.

Registry: Private Owner, Dr. R. Heart

    Assignments
    Assignment: Garrus: Find Dr. Saleon

“This mission just got a lot more complicated.” — Spoilers for Mass Effect follow.

    Mass Effect
The Fedele’s cargo hold is full of mindless Test Subjects (resembling Thorian Creepers) who attack Commander Shepard’s squad on sight. There are also crates stocked with weapons and wetware in the room with Dr. Saleon.

The ship’s owner, a salarian, can be found in one of the compartments, and thanks Shepard for rescuing him from “those things”. If Garrus Vakarian is with the squad, he can identify the salarian as Dr. Saleon, and ask the commander for a chance to get payback. Shepard can either deny Garrus’ request and kill Saleon, or let Garrus get his payback. Saleon refuses to be taken and tries to run away, but Saleon is killed in the attempt.

    Clobaka:

    • Orbital Distance:  N/A AU
    • Orbital Period:  2,052.3 Earth-years
    • Keplerian Ratio:  N/A
    • Radius:  8,198 km
    • Day Length:  59.7 Earth-hours
    • Atmospheric Pressure:  0.81 atm
    • Surface Temp:  7 °C
    • Surface Gravity:  0.88 g
    • Mass:  1.443 Earth-masses

Clobaka is a moderately sized terrestrial world with a hazy hydrocarbon atmosphere. Its surface is mainly composed of chlorides with deposits of solid and liquid form hydrocarbons.
