Introduction:
These are the worlds in the Milky Way galaxy humanity voyaged out to after 2149 A.D., Earth-time. Details are covered in the series of video games called Mass Effect, and the fourth in the former-trilogy was during 2186 A.D. (meaning Mass Effect was originally a 3-part video game, its 4th installment continuing some elements of the series, though not its original characters).
Mass Effect: Andromeda (the 4th installment) covers the years of 2419 to 2819. Its worlds are listed in the Andromeda Galaxy webpages of this site.
The Citadel is the main Space Station for these parts of the Milky Way, and is in the cluster called Serpent Nebula.

Note how he mentioned these robots stop any living beings who get too close to ruins/monoliths… but that is incorrect; the only evidence witnessed is that they stop primitive beings such as humans who always misuse things.
Also, the robots are living. Humans just don’t like to admit this, or are too primitive to understand the simple concept.
And “we can only guess” is another hallmark of the chaos-essence fools/minions.
Defaulting to assuming they can only guess… causes chaos… which is probably sensed by the robots, they knowing the monoliths would tap into and relay and amplify that indecision/chaos.
You can decide, not just guess.
