This was where I spent the first several years of this life, and where I boarded the first supercarrier I was destined to be on.

Phase 1:

I spent my first several years growing up in the forests here just across the river from DC.

Later, still in Phase 1, I returned a few times for family visits and school field trips to the top-notch museums around The Mall.

I also got to experience a lot of the operations and life aboard one of the USA’s greatest ocean-bound super-carriers, and even made a couple side-journeys out by Jeep and bicycle to the nearby Navy SEAL base.

Thousands of images used in the making of many areas and attractions of Inisfree also came from off-time in this state spent researching, playing, and testing MMORPGs and other beautiful, immersive, graphics-intensive games.

Phase 2:

So what does Phase 2 hold for Virginia?  My guess is a lot of good business networking, and perhaps big business itself.  I’m certainly prepared to return.

2024 July notes:

  • Upon checking out my childhood hometown/area in Google Maps, I noticed something I hadn’t thought of before; I grew up within walking distance of the CIA HQ.  My childhood house, elementary school, grocery store, etc., were all within walking distance of that place.  They say there are no coincidences, but what does this mean, other than that my pretend-father (adopted?  assigned?) almost certainly worked with, if not for, the CIA?
  • Were ALL my neighbors and schoolmates and everything else… preplanned/fake?  Maybe.  Either way, interesting that things happened as they did.

Phase 3:

Phase 3 will be all of Virginia’s best; the most successful business-people and most beautiful girls across the entire state are already being pre-screened for activity with me and Inisfree.  Phase 2 is where their introductions all began (if only by ‘soft’ disclosure at first; seeing how I’d react to what was destined, thereby able to calibrate it before anything might offend me, better ensuring the in-person compatibility/successes).

Forest House:

I remember sitting at the top of the stairs, listening to the fake parents arguing (also fake?), but I also remember the rocking chair, carrying boxes of cereal upstairs to eat while sitting on the floor in that bedroom, the tall trees, the narrow brook/creek down the slope of the backyard, sitting on the trunk of the tan car and looking out the open garage door at the rainstorm, the asphalt driveway up to the winding neighborhood street, the model-cars in the plastic totes, the wall-mounted cord telephone in the kitchen, the old tiny boxy television set/s, the neighbor’s houses and toys, the hiking trails, …

the yellow plastic pedal-car, the toy ray-gun and Transformers action-figures, being introduced to my first Legos box set, the swing-set covered in cardboard with inserted Christmas-lights to make makeshift NASA Mission Control consoles, the cardboard battle-tank, the cardboard pirate-ship, the giant spider and spiderweb spanning the gap between two grown trees, having dinner over at the CIA cartographer’s house and walking out on his big balcony-porch / back-deck before going back in to try his zebra-pattern sliding-tiles puzzle-square and mini-helicopter launch-toy, and much more.  I even drew this house in perhaps my first art-class at school.

..

2024 July update:

Apartment:

This was back during the final years when I went “all out” every time I moved into a new place; you can see nice furniture, a fully-stocked kitchen, wall art, and other decorations.  I had a humble budget, and kept being limited by corrupt evil humans to the worst of lodging/options, but I always did my best, I now able to, no longer further-limited to commandeered/conquered foreign-military bases, bunkers, and old Humvees.  It sucked having to pack and unpack that much stuff, but it sure made it more bearable each time I unlocked the shitty fragile front door and came ‘home’.

Beach Strip & Neptune Statue:

That definitely got my hopes re-stirred for meeting Atlanteans and other peoples of the seas.  Maybe this was one of their big sculptures left behind, not destroyed when they hid their main landmass, and somehow not even destroyed by the current (invader/false) humans.  Is it protected by magic or a treaty?  Is it a gargoyle-like temporarily-petrified ancient/demigod, one day to become reanimated?

Carrier Feast:

The food was predictable as standard American garbage/poison, but it was still a novel experience overall.

Colony:

I now wonder if this is made-up (like so many other things I noticed were scams), but it was still neat to see in person.

Ferry:

The guy at the helm was a bit of a cunt, but at least I got to try this form of transportation and get used to it before riding the far-bigger one during my first solo scouting of much of Europe.

Flight Deck:

I was told I would be wowed by how big a carrier is, but I knew what to expect long before being told that, so even getting to go out on its flight deck, with only one other person there at the time, wasn’t that impressive.  I appreciated the experience 100%, but it wasn’t jaw-dropping in any way.  It just made me want a carrier (or more) of my own.

Now, …climbing the mast almost all the way to the top… while wearing my Dress Blues, WAS a thrilling little experiment.  Being in both Bridges in the tower was nice, too, though they could have used higher ceilings.  I also liked this ship’s CDC/CIC, Admiral’s suite, and hangars.

Other Ships:

I’d been shown into ships in this part of the world ever since I was barely older than toddlerhood; once I could walk well, one of the first I got taken to was a submarine during some sort of Navy day or general festival/holiday.  It was nice to return and get to see many more, including types I hadn’t been in/to yet, such as the old-fashioned ones you see in colonial and pirate movies.  I hope I’ll get to see the latest and greatest ships during upcoming (Phase 3) visits –and even steer them around for a moment, getting the hang of it.

O-course:

This is one of those used by east-coast SEALs.  The ones I trained on in the Marine Corps were far longer, and had far-taller obstacles, but SEALs do far more underwater, as you know, their specialty/focus different than that of the Marines.  I’m betting they have stricter time-limits for completing these obstacles, too, and have to go through this course more times than Marines go through their own, and so on.

Ships Day:

These are the classic oldies I mentioned in a previous album above.  They seemed way too small and cramped to me, but it was still really cool to get to go aboard and being guided around on a brief tour.  This particular one was also the first foreign-Navy ship I got to explore.

Xmas Lights:

I’d never seen nor heard of ships being decorated like Christmas trees, so this was an entertaining surprise.

Vinson Views:

Once it was about time for this big ship to set sail for another continent, I could no longer go aboard, so I watched it until it was out of sight.  I’m not sure exactly when I got inspired to start writing about a carrier of my own (now the focus of my 8th novel), but these experiences certainly played a major part in that.  How emotionally and financially stressed I was during these days…

Appalachian Trail:

It was great getting to stretch my legs and show off my stamina.  I got complimented by a couple of the girls in our hiking group after I picked up another and carried her a ways up the trail ahead.  Some guy leading a different hiking group also said something complimentary about when I was hiking while wearing two packs, one on my back like normal, and the other across my chest.

Best Hotels

It’s a shame I’ll now have to check before booking, making sure they don’t hire degenerate staff, and don’t do any of that evil mask retardation.  It’s a shame they allow degenerates to book rooms and muck up the views in the common areas, such as at breakfast.  Hopefully they’ll be forced to fix all that crap so I can finally fully enjoy sampling these higher-end rentals.

Many, if not most or even all, are probably intentionally covered up by highways and other construction, but I’m sure I’ll eventually find them, anyway.  I always do.  We ‘call’ to each other, after all –something I doubt my makers or pretend-relatives knew/know anything about; they wouldn’t have made me the way they made me, otherwise.
