Preface:
This will be my 6th time to this continent, plus additional times. My first time was on my way to Iraq, followed by my 2nd time –which was on my way back from there. My third and fourth times were on my way to and from Iraq for my second deployment.
–
My Intent:
As always, I am looking to see if anyone out there will answer my ‘calls’; I am looking to see if the impolite/incompatible stay away, and if the polite/compatible kindly introduce themselves and offer to team up in an agreeable way.
I am also looking for the best healthy (vegan) places to eat, and ancient ruins (which have not been covered up or defaced/vandalized/altered).
I’m looking forward to any wonderful people and teammates I’m destined to meet and interact well with, and to the good and useful things I will learn from them, their lands, and those ancient sites.
I might not be trying to see all of the rest of Europe in a single trip –unless I am able to set aside months for that, and have guarantees from powerful locals that I will never encounter any borders/paperwork issues/delays/overcharges. I guess I’ll just have/get to wait and see how this all works out. I’m guessing it will be much more leisurely than my road-trips and mega-expeditions, whether it all happens in ‘one go’ or multiple.
Ever since ~2021, I have also decided no longer to travel via rented vehicles or commercial airplanes; it will have to be a lot more comfortable and personalized than that.
–
Places Not Fully Part of Europe:
These were, during my research years ago, for some reason considered part of Europe –even though they looked, to me, to be over in Asia. I’ll still make trips and returns to these, but likely as part of other continents’ mega-expeditions, or devote an expedition entirely to each of the following.
–
Places I Might Return To:
I’ve not yet decided if the following warrant my return. This doesn’t mean I had bad experiences in them during my first pass/visit; it just means I have not yet been shown signs indicating I am meant to go back and learn/experience more there.
- Belgium
- Denmark –for Læsø island, because it is said to have ancient/prehistoric halls of silver and gold
- France
- Lichtenstein
- Luxembourg
- San Marino
- The Netherlands
–

- Italy
- Monaco

Places (as of 2023) I Have Not Yet Been To:
I almost made it to all of these during my Europe 50 mega-trip. I suppose, like with the hotties/goddesses I’ve been shown over the decades of adventures/expeditions/travels, getting close enough to almost meet/touch them was good enough for “round/Phase 1”. I always end up returning and enjoying more, so I already know I’ll make it to the following.

Other Sites Worth Checking Out:
I might make a trip over to these –even if they are in countries I have not yet felt called to see / return to.
- Gouffre Berger limestone cave in SE France — *difficult to get to, and difficult to get into/through; steep, requires rappelling, etc.
