Reptilian Leaders

These are the people who look like lizard or dinosaur fusions with humans, and some are even somewhat mammalian.

Organization:

Humanoid reptilians are sometimes from Earth, sometimes aliens from other worlds.

Coming from multiple worlds, they have very many different customs, fashions, ships, and so on.

Genders:

males always distinctly masculine and only interested in attractive/fit females who are smaller than them

females always distinctly feminine (smaller than the males, etc.) and only interested in both hetero’ males and bi’ females

Abilities:

tougher ‘skin’ (because of scales in many cases)

bred to be good telepathics, if not naturals at that already

They tend to be the best belly-dancers, of course, having more vertebrae and flexibility than humans.  Only the River Nymphs (like Water Elementals) known as Asparas (or spelled Apsaras) tend to dance as gracefully/well.

Attire/Fashion:

depends on the group/subculture, some always nude, some often casual, some gearing/armoring up for every outing, etc.

about the same as for most reptiles

Vision:

based on temperature and smell, of course, though they have good regular vision, too

Fires and freezing winds can greatly diminish their ability to “see”, but they compensate for that with magic and high-technology.

Level:

They practice some of the most ancient and powerful magic, so, other than their youths/newborns, they tend to come prepared to detect and counter any other magic that might be in their way or otherwise used against them.

Regarding Inisfreeans:

While some insecure/lame/bad humans on Earth in modern times added a colloquial definition/misuse of the term “reptilian” (they using it as an insult, condescendingly/racistly implying that anyone “reptilian” was primitive or even evil), no one in Inisfree or any of the other civilized realms uses this word that way.  To us (civilized/good people), “reptilian” is objective, never negative, only ever meaning that something about the subject (the one being spoken about/of) is or seems reptile-like.

High King Auzdein von Himmler is married to more than one reptilian; the Naga named Tempest Thema, as well as Anita Browning.  They are naturally attracted to each other, love each other dearly, and are completely loyal to one another, no exceptions.  If ever one of them got insulted or threatened by a rude Outlander-human, the other would likely beat the crap out of that disrespectful/lippy punk humanimal –or, in the case of the Naga rushing to Auz’s defense/aid, consider biting, poisoning, or even consuming that evildoer, ensuring the human never utters such inappropriate and uncalled-for B.S. again.

Those allowed to visit Inisfree understand and accept that they must be vegan while in our realm.  Most of them already are.  Those who aren’t are aware that we know how to provide them with the nutrients they need, even from our vegan sources, plus plenty of opportunities for them to go outside our realm anytime they wish to get their nonvegan food.

Population:

“Almost all reptiles are cold-blooded, and most lay eggs—though some, like the boa constrictor, give birth to live young. Instead of possessing gills like fish or amphibians, reptiles have lungs for breathing.”

Bodies:

When it comes to the humanoids called Reptilians, that can mean they just have scales instead of skin, or slit-pupils instead of round ones; it doesn’t mean everything about them is identical to how it is for non-humanoid reptiles on Earth.

Interaction:

Those who live underground tend to keep their civilizations as secret/hidden as can be –out of necessity, since so many modern surface-humans were so insecure/racist and slanderous against their kind.

The few who have dared to re-establish contact with anyone on the surface… understandable did/do so with great caution and numerous protective measures, just in case.  They may be ancient, wise, and powerful, but they aren’t invincible, and they, like all intelligent beings, learned the hard way for a long while… to never trust the idiotic hyper-insecure default-panicking humans.

They’ll tolerate humans doing mining near the surface, but nowhere near their realm/lairs/caves.  Any human who gets too close to their underground territories probably won’t ever know they are there, but also will probably have to deal with cave-ins and other life-threatening issues (sudden loss of breathable atmosphere in mineshafts, etc.).

Amongst themselves (their own people), males tend to “have their way” with females, not being affectionate/gentle like modern human peasants have been raised/brainwashed/forced to be.  This is somewhat like how Goreans are.  Brainwashed moron humans would regard this as sexual harassment, sexual assault, sexism, etc., but to Reptilians it is just the normal dynamic between the two sexes, and neither sex thinks anything of it.
*When Tempest was first courted by Auz, she even brought this up, telling him that males of her species/race weren’t kind and careful or respectful like he was –perhaps half to remark in wonder about that aspect of his trained personality, and half to hint that she would enjoy the rough handling she and all other females like her had been used to for untold generations.

Dwellings:

estates on remote hilltops, or estates in deep-underground caverns big enough for a small town

Advisory:

Many humanoid-reptilian races and civilizations existed long before any humans ever did, thus those reptilians tend to know a lot about Earth’s pre-cataclysms past, the actual/literal Angels and Elementals who once roamed and shaped its outer surface, and much more.

like snakes, though sometimes the females are perfumed and the males cologne-d

Voices:

females distinctly feminine, males distinctly masculine, just in their own way; both sounding like fork-tongued snake-humanoids most of the time (though the most-practiced can sound very similar to normal humans speaking)

Territory:

mostly their traditional homelands in deep cave systems, though they once ruled over entire states/regions of the outer surface of the Earth

Rules/Law:

whatever their community leader/s commands

Language/s:

mostly verbal, a little telepathic, and sounds like you would expect from mouths which have sharper teeth, forked tongues, and tighter lips; more hissing/”S” sounds, no “T” or “ch”, etc.

Note how the definition of reptile does not mention diet.  Some reptiles are not carnivorous.  Some are vegan.

“Reptiles are classified as herbivores (eating only plant matter),
insectivores (eating insects),
carnivores (eating larger prey than insects),
or omnivores (eating plants and insects).”
The different races/subsets of reptiles have a wide range of diets.

Not all reptilians which can detach their jaw like a snake, and swallow their meals/prey whole, can swallow things larger/wider than them; most tend to consume about as much food as a human of their same dimensions/mass would per meal.
