Introduction:
This inner room is the half of the foyer that is under its balcony 10 stories up, and where the fully-grown tree is in a floor-bowl root-bed centered in this ‘half-room’, with a hidden hatch and ladder-well within. In other words, the main foyer leads into this tree foyer, which is the inner and lower quadrant of the main foyer. The tree foyer is 50′ tall, and the tree centered inside it is ~45′. It is symbolic of how nature –especially healthy well-cared-for trees– are part of the inner workings and heart of every Inisfreean‘s home.

Novels Excerpt:
The room that separated that central dining hall from the front doors was called a tree foyer. Its name made sense; it was an inner foyer, somewhat like an airlock, with a fully-grown tree planted in the middle of its floor. Though half as tall as the rest of the rooms in that mansion, its ceiling was still 50′ above them. The four-story tree had plenty of room to grow.
