Admiralty law regulates economic transactions and property disputes involving marine trade, sailors, navigation, or land-based activity that is maritime in nature. Admiralty law is not, however, synonymous with the Law of the Sea, which is in the realm of international public law and deals with rights to navigation, minerals, or coastal waters jurisdiction.

Range of Corrective Measures the Inisfreeans Can Enforce:

*The minimum, recommended, and maximum sentencing and fines (usually in the form of females or free labor, since we don’t use money) are decided by Inisfreeans on a case-by-case basis, considering all factors of the given situation, never defaulting to unilateral or draconian decisions voted on by judges or masses based on previous cases or rulings.

  • Typically, the minimum fine for a first offense is a warning, and there is no sentencing,
  • while the recommended fine and sentencing are, respectively, indefinitely surrendering the sexiest human female crew member or relative of the members of the offending party/group/company (so that she be used as a sex slave for so long as she is pleasing and attractive to us), then (the offenders, not the confiscated/surrendered girl) serving “hard time” in a concentration camp made just to guarantee round-the-clock free and fully-monitored menial/unskilled labor from humans (and we have no “white collar” prisons or other “lighter touch” facilities for the economically-spoiled/pampered).  Again, the logic and focus is:  more of better-controlling the confused/demonic human, rather than attempting to fine it back into submission or other reasonable behavior.  When fines are ordered, since we don’t use paper or metal money like humans do, only perfect females will do –just like how humans only accept perfect dollars/coins; no damage, missing pieces (such as faulty personalities, in the case of our ‘living currency’), etc..
  • The maximum fine is always 100% of the female crew members AND relatives of the offending party; every female working with them AND known to them, which we are attracted to, and the maximum sentencing we put upon offending humans is, of course, death by torture (typically doing to them whatever they did to their victims, such as animals they exploit for “food”, clothing, or other animal products).  Humans never learned in countless trials/tests/opportunities, so there is no point jailing/incarcerating them, nor is there any benefit to ‘rehabilitating’ them or putting them through other re-education programs.  They have always been bullies, psychopaths, and monsters, and those creatures only understand and yield to greater force, thus the trial-less confiscations and torture employed to keep their lowly species in check now, once and for all.  In some cases, though, lifetimes of torture, and the crippling and ‘glassing’ of entire worlds, is in order –and does occur.

Laws:

  1. International Conventions:  The only legitimate nations are now those recognized by Inisfree, thus all conventions between the other/unrecognized nations are null and void.  International conventions must not violate Inisfree’s stance on keeping the whole of the Earth pristine.
  2. Maintenance and Cure:  Any sailor/seaman injured during his work aboard a vessel, even if it is in dry-dock, must be given comprehensive medical care by his/her employer until he/she has made a full recovery (sufficient to allow a return to work under normal conditions).  Also, all sailors/seamen must be provided safe/unhostile working-environments while aboard any ship, even if not at sea, and while on the piers/docks, in the shipping/assembly facilities, and when inside or on duty on/around any buildings or other structures owned/operated by their employer.
  3. Maritime Liens and Mortgages; loans to purchase ships:  Human currency is no longer valid/accepted, and all sea vessels have been assigned to rightful owners indefinitely.  Mortgages and “interest” are also now rendered null and void, not to be paid.  The worthy own the ships, each person only has the ships he/she can reasonably maintain in excellent conditions, all debts are paid or permanently ended, and no more loans or mortgages for ships will ever be issued again.
  4. Personal Injuries to Passengers:  In the previous era, passengers had to have both medical insurance while at sea, and access to basic medical facilities aboard any sizeable vessel, such as a cruise ship or Naval vessel.  Today, they are required to either be a healer (not a doctor licensed by a paid/corrupt medical university, but a literal nature-based healer) or have a healer in their presence/company (aboard the same vessel).
  5. Piracy:  While this used to be universally illegal, as per human law, it was frequently determined that corrupt humans were making it unavoidable for many people to resort to.  Piracy against humans is now perfectly acceptable, as is human piracy against humans, but human piracy against anyone other than human is punishable by death on sight by any means necessary; you can steal from corrupt beings such as humans, but never from good and useful beings, such as Elves and Mermaids.
  6. Salvage (including of “treasure”):  This is perfectly legal, provided it is from wreckage no longer occupied or claimed.  In cases where stolen goods are on an abandoned, derelict, scrapped, or sunken ship that still belongs to someone reputable, the stolen goods can be salvaged, but not the ship –and the Inisfreeans do have a registry/record of which ships fall into this category; which have been reported lost by reputable owners.
  7. Water as Property and Territory:  All bodies of water now belong to the Atlanteans, Mermaids, and Water-nymphs approved and deified by King Auz; only their will is law in the waters they inhabit and patrol/maintain.  Humans no longer have any rights to claim any waters or lands, but the “beyond human” people of the sea/s / oceans do.
  8. Killing Ocean People:  Operating a vessel for the purpose of fishing, whaling, or using weaponized SONAR (and any SONAR deemed by the Inisfreeans to be too loud, such as the majority of military SONAR) is a capital offense, as well as an act of war, and such vessels can be disabled by any means necessary. Any warships not in service of the Inisfreeans or their allies are automatically illegal and intruding in sovereign territory.  Anytime “too loud” SONAR, harpoons, or other harm-causing ship-mounted/transported devices are used, and anytime anything is used on/in/over the sea/s / oceans which harms the life in them, war is automatically declared on the corporation that approved the event/device/usage/location, if not also (war declared) on the nation that corporation is based in (and sometimes even the banks that corporation uses can have war declared on them –and that is open, actual, live-fire, casualty-causing, POW-taking/kidnapping/capturing warfare, NOT a “war” of lawsuits or sanctions).  Respect and protect the people of the ocean/s… or else.
  9. Inisfreean Dominance:  If an Inisfreean ship is deployed somewhere, everywhere within its sensors-range is in its area-of-responsibility, thus is within Inisfreean territory, thus can be fired upon (such as with a Life Star beam) in order to purge it of the corruption/infection being known as humanity/humankind.  (And it can open portals to any part of the Megaverse, allowing its sensors to have a range spanning and/or skipping light-years, so don’t think you can “get away with something” or “exploit a legal loophole” just by “moving out of normal sensor-range”; we’ll just open up a portal and destroy you no matter which “safe zone” or “gray area” you think you have “slipped” to.  Behave.)
  10. Supervised Transit:  Humans are only allowed in the oceans, including “the ocean of stars” (Space), when they are inside a spaceship overseen by German SSP officers or ICVs.  As long as at least one ICV or German SSP member is monitoring the given vessel and ensuring it is not breaking any laws (such as by polluting or in any way harming the sea or sea-peoples), then it may continue sailing on its way.  Otherwise, it can be boarded, commandeered, or even sunk, all its crew/occupants intentionally terminated in the process.  (There are no more excuses for humans, or borders regulated by humans.  The only “border” is now between humans and all the civilized/proper beings; the “beyond humans”, meaning that anytime a human “crosses the line”, offending or hurting one of those “beyond humans”, that offending human, and any humans associated/allied with him/her, are subject to immediate capture, interrogation, possible torture, and possible death.  Travel accordingly; don’t break our rules, and we won’t break you.)
  11. Cleanliness/Pollution:  Ships can no longer sail if they pollute in any way, and cannot get permission from land-based authorities to sail or dock (since those authorities always allowed them to pollute waters); even cruise ships must have permission from a mermaid authority to pass through any waters, and even the “open seas” are now regulated by the mermaids who live within them.  If any mermaid at all has reason to believe a ship polluted, pollutes, or will pollute, she can indefinitely deny that ship ANY sailing rights, even along a shoreline or up a river deep inland.  This includes oil or leaks of any kind, deteriorating hull layers, noise pollution (from SONAR, even if the SONAR is considered to be normal/quiet), and a long list of other things deemed to be pollutants and unacceptable by the Inisfreeans / to the mermaids (or to anyone else who lives in the sea/s / oceans).

As these laws become more specific and lengthy, they will each be given a paragraph/section of their own on this web-page; they will no longer be listed as numbered bullet-notes here.
