Abercrofty

Predominantly inspired by Abercrombie & Fitch retail outlets from the richest nations around the world, Abercrofty is the next step up, above, away, & beyond.  Couture outfits and accessories are displayed on shelves in wall inlets designed to look like white-painted bungalow shutters, each with its own jewelry spotlight shining down on it from above.  Manikins are all perfectly shaped, teen supermodel girls, some of which are posing holding surfboards or the only clothes on them dangling cutely from their fingertips.  Polished canoes and oars hang from the ceiling, along with lifeguard paraphernalia such as life-preservers, hurricane whistles, and Baywatch swimwear.  Instead of just manikins in windows, however, Abercrofty retail outlets also come standard with a central, models’ ‘catwalk’/’runway’, and there are no dressing/changing rooms; everyone comes in nude, tries on clothes right where they find them, and strut and vogue on the models’ runway a couple feet off the shop’s main floor for all to see, clap & cat-call (whistle) for, and constructively critique.  Many Abercrofty employees also make use of this catwalk to show off their wares; both their custom, signature clothing articles, as well as themselves!

Culture:

Like all Inisfreean clothes, Abercrofty garb is designed for healthy girls who take great pride in their bodies; young ladies who sculpt, maintain, and wisely show off their physiques and grace. Almost all of these clothes are also very, very skimpy, sometimes translucent, sometimes see-through.  These are the kinds of clothes for girls who choose eternal youth, a happy and bubbly personality, and a colorful, open lifestyle.  From uggs designed to be matched with bikinis, to cheerleader short-short ‘silkies’ and ribbons for their curly pigtails, this is what you can expect to find in upbeat Abercrofty.
