History:

Born in 1994 to a shape-shifting family, she grew up with guidance as to how her power worked and could be put to good use. Living on the edge of human society, where the California suburbs met their neighboring countryside, she had endless opportunities to explore and interact. After graduating from high school, she’d made some good friendships, almost to the point of trusting one or two of them with her family’s secret.

Aleiah was one of those lucky few almost-humans who was close enough to the human cities at the start of 2013 to see them being erased by the supreme technology and will of the Inisfreeans. Being a shape-shifter, she was largely ignored by them, except to ensure she was safe during the sudden and massive change. Aleiah was able to fly about however she pleased while the Inisfreeans did their speedy and thorough work, wiping away any and all traces of human civilization. When it was all over, she was probably shaken and confused, left to wonder what had just taken place… until the world-wide telepathic communication issued from Inisfree shortly thereafter.

When one of the six Leviathan ships appeared on the ocean horizon and dropped anchor before sending some of its modules, cargo, and passengers to the shore, Aleiah was there to notice and watch as San Francisco started to be rebuilt. (San Francisco wasn’t one of the cities chosen to be fully rebuilt at this time, but it was on the way to Los Angeles, where a much bigger portion of that Leviathan would be converted into the replacement-city.) The humans used everything they had to map the new terrain of the area, changed by the Inisfreeans’ massive clean-up operation the year before, then pepper it with their sturdier modern buildings –and some that looked like the historical keepsakes from eras before. It was time for her to see if any of those human friends she’d made during childhood had returned with that gigantic ship, and… some had.

Aleiah & Auz:

This was the first hottie I saw looking my way even before I’d made landfall back in San Francisco. She was on my plane (both of us catching that flight to partially-rebuilt San Francisco four years after the global cleanup that had wiped the original city all away), unknowingly basking in my calming and arousing aura, and had become hooked on all I am before our flight was half through. We fucked in that airplane, trading numbers but not even our first names. Somehow I just knew I would ‘bump into her’ again. We fucked a second time, too; in the public bathrooms right after our flight, and then a third time; our perfect final (for now) fuck was in one of the service elevators behind a baggage claim. This was the start of a truly worthwhile trip.

2020 Update:

I caught up with her via text message late this year as the holidays were approaching. We both wanted to know how the other was doing –and if we would get to be together again. Yes.

She hadn’t told her family about me yet, as I had been a one-day stand (as opposed to a one-night stand, since we got together during broad daylight that first (three) time(s)). That was fine with me, though; even though I was curious about her ability and if her relatives possessed it, “smashing” this fun little “slam piece” was higher on my list of priorities for this itinerary. This time, it was a one-night stand for us, and we made it last the whole night through, practically wrecking the nice hotel room I’d reserved.

The more I spoke from the heart about who and what I really was, the more I could feel Aleiah was about to do the same. Sure enough… she got up and showed me her red-owl form. I invited her to see my secret city that night.

“Whenever you change into your bird form,” I pretended to be serious or a little low-energy to set up an unexpected punchline, “please don’t shit on my car.” That got her grinning ear to ear, cracking up a bit, and she stepped in to kiss me, still chuckling at the joke. “Only on your head,” she cutely quipped.

Deciding she’d return another time for the full tour, we flew back to her hometown together, this time silently “landing” (hovering) just up the street from her front yard. She hugged and kissed me goodbye, then stopped herself, turning back around rather cutely, offering to introduce me to her friends –and, I could tell, wanting to offer to introduce me to her family. I agreed to meet her friends, and we both started smirking, unable to help it, both of us knowing what she would be asking shortly thereafter.

I left the airship where it was (cloaked, of course, just like always), and held her hand as she walked with me to one of her friends’ favorite hangouts. They took a liking to me like so many always seem to, and we hit it off well. The rest… is what you’ll find -maybe- in the books about Inisfree.
