Why a Tour:

This tour is now available to all individuals or groups seeking an audience with the Governor of the Inisfreean realm; get to know his city and people first, decide if you are compatible with them, and then request a meeting with him.  You can also just take this tour to familiarize yourself with the whole Inisfreean realm/capital.  Either way, it is a good idea to begin your Inisfree adventure here.

Each day and place in this tour is designed to give newcomers a sample of the following:

  1. how it feels to be in each of our biomes / climate-zones
  2. where people are able to vacation, live, and work here
  3. how much time it takes to walk or drive between our different neighborhoods and biomes/regions
  4. the range of vehicles we have been 3D-printing here in our city
  5. what the different foods (regional cuisines) we cook here tastes like –and, of course, where our many restaurants are

The Official 41-day Tour of Inisfree-city:  Basics

This is the absolute minimum amount of time required for an outsider, often called an Outlander, to orient his- or herself to the vast realm that is Inisfree-city.  Spanning 100 square miles within its Perimeter Wall, and including both airspace and subterranean facilities extending many miles down below ground level, this unique city actually includes more than 1,000 cubic miles of usable space.  That being said, in order to get the most basic understanding of its layout, 41 consecutive days of a professionally guided tour are prescribed.  This tour is also a prerequisite to beginning any on-site studies through Inisfree’s educational system (though online correspondence courses are available to geographically isolated Outlanders via the University of Inisfree Online (UIO)).

All our tours are hosted by one or more of our ICVs.  That way, no tour guide ever gets tired, and no detail is ever missed.  The ICVs are always upbeat when giving these tours, too, and know the answers to all the questions anyone may ask them.

If you do not need to acclimate to the Antarctic/local conditions, you can skip the first couple of weeks described below; you can start from the Welcoming Square instead of down in the Receiving Facility.

Private-party Tours as Special Events:

Distinguished and return-guests may request this or custom-tailored tours of Inisfree-city for entertainment purposes, such as for sightseeing.  If you already know Inisfree well, or know someone who just wants to see certain types of attractions, let us know and we’ll build a tour just for you/them.  An hour/+ short-tour is also always available by aircraft.

Both the short-tour and custom tours are available to individuals and groups –even large groups (of dozens to hundreds of people, such as an entourage or political staff/’cabinet’).

[Ambrosia LeMorte‘s tour of Inisfree will be posted/shared later, and you can find it in Novel 3.]

Tours for Concubine-candidates and Newly-acquired Kajirae:

Before you read this, understand that Inisfree is Heaven on Earth.  Everyone here is living the life he or she chooses and loves.  Even those who seem to be enslaved are, in fact, volunteers based on their nature/calling.

All captured girls slated to become sex-slaves (kajirae), and all Outlander girls volunteering to try out for the Inisfreean sorority Alpha Delta Omega (ADO) –and, thereby, training to become a concubine in Inisfree’s fleet(s), are also required to begin their Inisfreean experience with this 41-day tour.  Kajirae are led through the tour in a chain-gang; their group’s chain connected to their metallic neck collar rings.  Concubine-candidates are marched in formation, both types of groups (kajirae and concubine-candidates) being led by Inisfreean Master Females.

Some owners/Masters prefer their girls to be ignorant of their surroundings, thus more helpless/dependent, but here in Inisfree… King Auz wants his to know exactly where they can roam and find whatever they may need (and/or whatever they may be tasked with finding/gathering).  (They couldn’t escape, anyway; the walls are too high, the exterior is too frozen, and none save the demigods could ever survive a lone crossing.)

*There are a few different categories of visitors in our realm;

  1. 1st-time Visitors:  These people are flown into one of our underground hangars, then use our Receiving Facility like a hotel for a week, after which their bodies should be acclimated enough to start the rest of this tour.  They are not required to complete this tour, though it is suggested/recommended, as Inisfree is a very big city/place.
  2. Returning Visitors:  These people usually fly to our surface airport, then are driven/taxied to wherever they have chosen to set up a vacation-home or residence in one of our neighborhoods.
  3. Personnel in Training:  These people sometimes are flown into our surface airport for civilians, but may also be flown in via our military airport on the other side/corner of our city, at which point they are either driven/bused to one of our barracks or one of our cliff-dwelling neighborhoods.
  4. Distinguished Residents:  These people are usually members of one of our four Congresses, and/or have a business or research project here, and can teleport directly to their home or office here, skipping our hangar(s)/gate(s)/airport(s) as often as they like/need.
  5. Incoming Kajirae / Kajirae Candidates:  These people arrive the way 1st-time visitors do, and go through our Receiving Facility, but then stay in our Kajirae Training Facility nearby.  They are required to complete this tour, as the maker of this city requires the kajirae here to know its declassified surface portion/s well.

2020 Update:  More Tours

There used to be only 9 of these tours per year; there is enough time each year to have tours back-to-back like that (41-day tour x 9 per year = 369 days, or exactly one year if you don’t count the first and last days when people are only flying in and then back home), and we didn’t intend to have any overlap… at first.

With the world being cleaned up, and cities now being built the sustainable way, more Inisfreean girls are now available to hostess more events back here in Inisfree.  We decided to start/offer tours at least every day; whenever there is interest, we now work much more flexibly with our worthy visitors’ schedules, starting tours whenever they wish, and not asking them to wait to join groups.  We even give people the option now to plan out exactly what they want on their individual tours, including where the tour starts and ends, and they can have more than one Inisfreean hosting it.

Interest in Inisfree has been on the rise ever since, after all, so it won’t always be possible to get all interested visitors into just 9 tours per year; eventually there will be millions wanting to complete the full tour of our realm.  All that being said, you can come for a tour whenever you like, be by yourself (plus at least one Inisfreean tour guide) or in a group, plan a custom tour, or wait to join an individual or group that has a custom tour of their own planned in a way you like.  Come check it out!
