Introduction:

Like Inisfree’s guard turrets, these structures look like medieval lighthouses or stand-alone castle turrets.  The difference is that they are adorned with giant inlaid gemstones (the size of arms, grapefruits, and basketballs), and are lit from within, creating a deep colorful radiance out in all directions.  They also are unmanned; rarely will you ever see anyone in, atop, or around them.  Spread far and wide across the surface meadows of the city, and always within line of sight of at least two of each other, their purpose has yet to be revealed.

When you see one, it is unmistakable; they look like a cross between ancient ruin towers, an extra-wide street-light post, and a decorated stone Christmas tree.  In the day, their protruding gem curves shimmer in the sunlight.  At night, they glow with a soothingly hypnotic, calming, infinitely satisfying presence.

  1. in the meadow between the Library of Congress II and the Tree-castles Complex
  2. in the meadow between the X-2 hotel and the Slanted Toroids complex
  3. in the meadow between the Luxor II hotel and Sotu‘s perimeter wall
  4. near the tree-line behind the Recycling Facility
  5. between the Highway Cathedral and one of the automated factories
  6. on the high-desert plateau cliff near the Highway Sphinx and Military Aerospaceport
  7. on the mountain range overlooking the Canyon and the Faux Prison
  8. on the middle-desert plateau mountain range overlooking the Side Canyon and Impact Ranges
  9. on the mountain range overlooking the Beach Assault Area and part of the Crucible/Reaper Trail
  10. on the mountain range separating the DS CP LZ from the Cropland
  11. on the mountain range overlooking the low desert, and near one end of the Ridgeline Buildings Chain
  12. on the end of the mountain range separating the Zoo from the Civilian Aerospaceport, and overlooking the Sea-tanks

History:

All 12 were started in 2012.  In 2020, they were further defined and completed.  By 2021, King Auz had started visiting and ‘christening’ each one, which resulted in his Vril synergy with his partners there being relayed out to and then from/beyond each/all of the rest.

  1. Adeline Reese was the first to join Auz in christening these light-house-like beacons.
  2. Lana Baumgartner was next.
  3. 1 of each of his ICV types (the 1,000 form-sake variants) helped in groups after that, usually eye-locking with him while they kept one leg up over his shoulder, the others helping ‘rim’ both of them as they took turns pairing up, the female’s (ICV’s) back resting against the given beacon.
  4. Alexa Torres helped Auz christen one in 2022.

Novels Excerpt:

Miles and miles of open land filled the Inisfreean realm, surrounding many of its buildings with breathtaking scenery and endless places to walk and explore. To see enough of it while giving his new guest’s feet a rest, they boarded one of the sight-seeing shuttles alongside the Flower Towers Field. It was similar to the limousine that had picked them up at the airport; white, long like a ‘stretch’ vehicle, and driven by a couple other Inisfreeans. What set it apart from the limo and other normal street cars were its tires and lift; the thing stood several feet above the ground, its wheels larger than most people could reach above themselves. This afforded many great views from its two sides full of seatback-to-ceiling windows.

That shuttle drove them off-road over the rolling hills of Inisfree, somehow not leaving any tire tracks behind. A couple times, it took an access ramp up onto the Glowing Art Highway, expediting its way to more of the most visually-stirring buildings and areas, giving Lucifera more tastes of things ahead. One of its stops was alongside a stand-alone castle-style turret in a field, though this turret had giant inlaid gemstones, and seemed to function as a light-house or night-light.

She’d see others just like it as they drove on. There was a network of them across Inisfree’s surface. Some people could be seen walking over from their homes or trails to marvel and touch the gems.
