Introduction:

A miniature version of the Great Wall of China, this perimeter around the Governor’s Mansion is, like all Inisfreean constructs, state of the art in detection, analysis, identification, prediction, and interpretation technology.  Staffed round-the-clock by hundreds of Inisfreean Storm Troopers, and enjoying a full complement of ‘rainbow cannons’ hidden within its many castle-style vertex turrets, even the slightest movements of a squirrel or butterfly will be rapidly responded to.

Dimensions:

There are 6 sections to this wall, and together they span ~6.3 miles of the slope of Inisfree’s central mountain.  Each section is dozens of feet thick, and a few stories tall, with a walkway along the entire top, plus stone blocks along both sides at the top… which are the size of cars, thus perfect for patrolling behind/between.  The driveway gates are several feet taller than the rest of the wall.  The tunnels through the wall are ~20′ in diameter, thus their outer and inner arches/gates are 20′ from floor to ceiling.

Gates:

There are only a few archways that give hikers access through this wall; there are two archways on the side of this perimeter wall facing the rising slope of the rest of the central mountain, and one archway that goes to the back-sideyard that leads to the Husky House and Jam Shanty areas.  These gates are always manned/patrolled, and have two sets of double doors that can be rapidly closed and locked.

The driveway gates are on the side of this perimeter wall facing the long front-sideyard that separates this mansion’s main/wraparound yard from that of Kings Drive.  Each driveway gate is a double gate that parts at the middle, swinging out laterally like normal estate driveway gates.  They are flanked by Guard Turrets –which are also the structures at every intersection of this perimeter wall.

Annexes:

Two extensions of this inner perimeter wall (inner as compared to the Perimeter Wall wrapping around the entire city) reach all the way up the remainder of their side’s slope of the Central Mountain this mansion is perched upon, connecting with the Avalanche Ring Wall that encircles the circle-shaped plateau called the Snowdunes Region.  Another two extensions of this inner perimeter wall reach out across the edge of the mile-high waterfall-cliff, angling back in toward the rising slope of this Central Mountain, then angling a second time to follow its steep slope straight up to connect farther out with the Avalanche Ring Wall, as well.

Aesthetics:

Like all Inisfreean things, though high-tech and lethal to any intruders, this perimeter wall of the Governor’s Mansion is designed to be very pleasing and calming to the eyes.  It appears as any normal, timeless, classic castle wall would, complete with ivy, moss, and false weathering marks.

* Once just intended to be a foliage-hidden, chain-link fence around a one-room shack, this tall megalithic stone wall now covers two full miles.
