With people such as Iron Man, Superman, Thanos, and The Hulk, we at Inisfree decided to create something that could stand up to and best all of them —combined.  More and more giant dangerous monsters seemed to be developing in many parts of the realms beyond our borders, so it only made sense to engineer and field a positive-equivalent countermeasure.  Here is the result of that project.

Introduction/Concept:

This is another prime example of Inisfree’s genetic engineering and warfighting mastery. Inisfreean Mandaloridays (IC MD), sometimes called Doomsdalorians, are a fusion of Doomsday (from the Superman comics; further details here and here) and a Mandalorian (from Star Wars, such as Boba Fett). Also given Sith powers and an upscaled version of the light-saber to match (be proportional to) their size, the IC MDs of Inisfree are a force to be reckoned with, each ‘an army of one’. Imagine the Spartan, Master Chief John 117, from the UNSC (of the Halo series); 7’2″ and 995 lbs. in his armor, and make him nearly 7 times taller and equally more massive, plus with hundreds more senses (beyond the standard human 5-7 senses) and the ability to telekinetically control objects, wind, and lightning.

Application:

Thus, IC MDs are typically only fielded when there are (something like) squadrons of dragons needing ruthless dispatching (though any Inisfreean girl is also powerful enough to handle such a task, for Inisfreean girls are stronger and more perceptive and clever even than Kryptonians).  IC MDs are last-resort shock-troops; they are only for the worst-case scenarios.  When something too gigantic and disgusting for even the Inisfreeans is around, it’s time to call/unleash at least one of the IC MDs.

Locations:

Kept in a handful of special, isolated silos not connected to the rest of Inisfree’s subterranean tunnels network like the silo clusters are, the IC MDs remain in indefinite stasis, activated only by special thought-command relayed to them from the city’s leader through its main supercomputer.  These silos are similar in nature to the city’s Black Vaults; they are extremely well-made, their signatures masked from detection by just about every being/sense/magic there is, and accessing them is even more restricted than most other areas of the city –including the “tomb wombs”.  It is rumored there are only seven of these special silos.

Dimensions & Layout:

Each IC MD stands 5 stories tall; more than twice the height of most Outlander houses, is wider than an M1A1 Abrams tank, and can pick up and throw tanks such as that (~70 Tons) much like a shot-put.

  • Height: 50′
  • Shoulder Width: 14.5′
  • Depth: 12.5′

* Tonnage & composition are classified.

Appearance Modes:

Like all ST and AP suits, Inisfreean MDs have the following appearance and cloaking options:

  • Basic / Nude (matte white)
  • Cloaked (transparent, showing Outer Space straight through it)
  • Masked (disguised as a boulder or debris)
  • Nova (flashing with the brightness of a star in order to surprise, disorient, or even blind nearby enemies, or remaining as bright as a normal star)

This means they can appear featureless, or invisible, or disguised as a terrain feature, or light up so suddenly and brightly that it can blind or even burn enemies nearby; a living “flash-bang” grenade.

Programming:

Like all Inisfreean creations (such as the Inisfreeans (ICVs), their vehicles, and our fleet of ships), IC MDs have a personality installed at “birth” (upon/after 3D-printing).  This personality is carefully engineered to ensure they behave as an extension of their maker’s will; they will always strive for peace between the compatible peoples that King Auz has instinctively and scientifically determined are able and meant to coexist in this post-Shift era.  In other words IC MDs are incapable of wreaking havoc, going berserk, or otherwise becoming a liability/threat (to the Inisfreeans and anyone they love).

More specifically, IC MDs will cleverly protect the Inisfreeans, their vessels (vehicles, ships, and their city itself, as well as all their Inisfree-like cities in SSA, and the Inisfreean-made worlds they are on, themselves), and anyone else they can (which the Inisfreeans want them to protect), should ever a need for the IC MDs to be “woken up” (from stasis) arise.  Their every thought and move/ment will be surgically precise, ensuring it never harms any of those beloved things, and that it does harm (to the enemies of Inisfree) only as a last resort.  For example, it might swing its shadow-saber to delete falling debris or a tossed vehicle out of the way, preventing those things from crushing an innocent person who appreciates the Inisfreean Way, but it will not let that same “blade” (shadow-saber striking-surface/portion) ever touch such a being (innocent person whose nature makes her compatible with us).

Unlike the Inisfreean girls, IC MDs won’t get fatigued from lack of flirtation and sexual contact with compatible human/oids.  Also unlike the other Inisfreeans, they do not participate in the “job rotation” that eventually results in each Inisfreean girl working in each job and military-position throughout their city/realm.  IC MDs are also completely asexual; they do not engage with Inisfree’s population or guests in any way –other than to defend them from the absolute worst things the Universe has to offer.

Capabilities:

An IC MD has enough shielding and countermeasures to withstand LGM (Laser-Guided Munition/s) bunker-busters and far more.  They can brace themselves against nuclear blasts, or skillfully move out of their way.  Even the blows (punches) of a person as strong as Superman or The Hulk will be deflected by their shielding (and their shields last indefinitely, drawing from the power of the Universe/Abyss itself, meaning even tireless superheroes such as The Hulk… still won’t be able to wear an IC MD down).

Their sensory-perception is based on dozens of sensing devices built into their bodies, and their supercomputer-brains instantly process all of those devices’ data.  They are able to perceive the full spectrum of light; infrared, ultraviolet, visible-light, X-ray, you name it.  Even what humans call “spirits” are as easy for an IC MD to see as a physical object right in front of a human is for the human to see.

Humans can become practiced and talented at semi-instinctively tracking one or two moving objects, such as a tennis ball or moving vehicle.  IC MDs automatically plot the entire trajectories of anything moving around them, showing them where all those objects likely came from (assuming they didn’t make course-corrections), as well as if any of them will collide (and how those collisions will change their trajectories).  IC MDs are also able to sense if any of those objects are conscious, piloted, or remote-controlled, and can then plot the trajectories of the thoughts/signals governing/operating them; IC MDs can see all possible thought-trees / decisions, at least once they begin to make sense of all the actions/reasoning of the people/objects moving/interacting within their range.

History:

Envisioned in 2008, it took years of brainstorming and drafting before a design worthy of prototyping was ready.  A decade later, the first robotic proto-Mandaloriday skeleton was being 3D-printed –right where it would later be completed and kept in stasis; its housing-silo doubled as an industrial-scale 3D-printer capable of printing its entire five-story form.  Some years after that, …and Inisfree had several ready to go.

As of the early 2500s A.D., these giant warriors have been tested in Inisfree’s R-CAXs and deployed to planet Dragonhome.

So far, there has never been a need to awaken/deploy any of them.

July 2023:  This is the first/only time these constructs/beings have been used in a non-military/defensive way; this is when my (Auz’s) top wife, High Queen Ambrosia Shadowheart LeMorte Himmler, was welcomed back into the Inisfreean alliance, so she was given a one-of-a-kind saber-arch –by these guys.

Time to Construct:

It takes ~1 week to 3D-print one of these ‘mechs’; 7 days.  That means that every day… another ~14.3% of a Mandaloriday gets completed.

  1. ~Day 1:  “bones”; frame/skeleton
  2. ~Day 2:  “tendons”; secondary conduits/pipes, etc. (as the frame/skeleton is based on the Grid Mind mesh/tentacles; the frame of every Inisfreean vessel/construct doubles as its plumbing and electrical wiring)
  3. ~Day 3:  “muscles”; pistons, boosters, etc.
  4. ~Day 4:  “organs”; repulsines, Vril reactor/batteries, etc.
  5. ~Day 5:  deployables; ammunition/projectiles/missiles, etc.
  6. ~Day 6:  “skin”; like the SRC-based ICV skin, and a self-adjusting/repairing ‘smart’-surface, but not at all like the smooth, soft, silky, feminine-flesh feeling of ICV exteriors
  7. ~Day 7: armor; extra plating over its ‘skin’

Special Features:

Their light-sabers look like shadows, not bright colors at all, because they are based on black-hole technology, thus they do not cauterize like lasers; instead, they simply create open spaces wherever they are moved, sucking whatever they touch into their event-horizon-based ‘blade’. Because of this, wounds are unable to close –and are often a foot wide or more; gaping gashes that are fatal 100% of the time. A single swipe from an IC MD shadow-saber (it isn’t accurate to call their variant a ‘light-saber’, as it isn’t based on light) can make an entire man disappear, or split a tank clean in half, and when these shadow-sabers cross paths with those of light-sabers, they can absorb the ‘blade’ of the light-sabers just as well; there is no electric buzz or flash as they clash.

The/a shadow-saber could have been used to cut through the IC MD wielding it, but we designed it to automatically turn itself off before any projected collision/s.

Additional Notes:

Mandaloridays are genderless, and their shadow-sabers are meant to disable weapons, not be used offensively as harmful devices themselves.  Their dimensions (incredible height and breadth) are meant to be a psychological deterrent, and their tonnage (mass) is designed to compensate for barrages of impacts from artillery or superhuman fists which would be devastating to lesser beings (not because they need such tonnage to accept those punishing blows, but so they can better shield smaller beings as they walk around).  They are not scary-ugly like Doomsday, and they are not clones of a male mercenary like Boba Fett; they are composed of extracted suitable aspects of each, as well as new components.  And, if even a Mandaloriday should not be enough for a given situation, there are always the Inisfreean BattleMechs (which stand 10 times taller; 500′ from head to toe), not to mention the rest of our virtually endless fleet.

Super-beings Research & Development

As stated above, we wanted to develop a being capable of withstanding a potentially-coerced/corrupted Iron Man, Superman, Thanos, and/or The Hulk.  We also wanted it, of course, to be able to overcome (peacefully, if possible) a Sith and/or a Doomsday.  Here is what we learned about each of those beings.

Doomsday:

Doomsday is stronger than Superman, and evolves during fights to defeat his enemies, while Hulk gets angrier instead of tired, thus making Doomsday capable of defeating them both.  Doomsday also is not constrained by fatigue, fear, or indecision –and Superman cannot evolve like Doomsday always automatically does.

Spec’s/Superpowers:

  • constant evolution/adaptation
  • demigod strength
  • regeneration
  • ruthless efficiency/focus
  • speed
  • used to extreme gravity and radiation; able to live/operate just about anywhere

How we defeated 3D-printed Doomsdays battling our IC MD prototype/s:

  • by-mind technology; brain-interface beams
  • deleting body-parts
  • molecular acid (fully dissolving it so that regeneration is no longer possible)
  • sealing its corpse by pouring metal over it (not just putting it in a casket/pod)
  • subatomic transmutation of its flesh/body (remote-preventing its healing/regeneration)
  • teleporting him/it/them away

Just because Doomsday is strong enough to fight superheroes… doesn’t mean he is invincible or perfect.

Iron Man:

This one was easy; it’s just an educated guy in a flying suit with some guns.

Spec’s/Superpowers:

  • strength:  lift 75 tons
  • speed:  1,500 MPH (faster than an F-22 “Raptor” going ~Mach 2)

Iron Man’s weaknesses can be found here.

How we defeated 3D-printed Iron Man suits battling our IC MD prototype/s:

  • remote omni-interfacing; scanning and signal-probing them until we were able to find their access-points
  • teleporting them away

“At the end of the day”, Iron Man is just an A.I. suit that a cocky man with a heart condition uses, and Inisfreeans are by far and away the superior makers and operators of A.I. suits.

Sith:

Spec’s/Superpowers:

  • (Force) choke
  • (Force) drain
  • (Force) lightning
  • (Force) hatred/rage
  • speed: Jedi fully-trained can anticipate and deflect blaster-beams, which are lasers; blaster-beams / lasers are moving at the speed of light, which means Jedi who are getting out of their way, or knocking them out of the way with their light-saber “blades”, are able to foresee/sense where those beams will be with enough time for them, NOT moving at the speed of light themselves, to maneuver themselves out of their way, or maneuver their light-saber up to stop one at a time
  • strength: the most powerful Sith was able to pull a 25,000,000-ton Star Destroyer out of low orbit and crash it into a city
  • telekinesis

A Sith’s weaknesses can be found here.

How we defeated 3D-printed Sith copies/clones battling our IC MD prototype/s:

  • Auz calms all this down; his presence calms down their reflexes, and their desire to move that way, and their desire to fight, as well as their light-saber “blades” from forming so quickly… and then from being able to STAY formed at ALL.

Storm‘s and Thor’s lightning bolts can be harnessed, stopped, and wielded by the IC MDs; they can telekinetically control them.  This means a Sith using Force-lightning is actually just giving an IC MD one more tool/weapon for free.

Superman:

“The Man of Steel” is strong enough to carry airplanes and pick up islands, but he comes with a lot of trade-offs.

Spec’s/Superpowers:

  • durability
  • flight
  • lasers from eyes
  • strength: lift 2,000,000,000 tons
  • speed: 7,200,000 MPH; 2,000 miles/sec. (on Earth; in atmosphere) *and he can break light-speed in Space
  • Underwater, he is fast, but Aquaman swims at high hypersonic speeds for extended periods; Aquaman is faster underwater than Superman.

Superman’s weaknesses can be found here.

  • exhaustion from too much time without sunlight
  • (his) good nature (i.e. inability to fight ruthlessly)
  • high-pitched and loud noises; they won’t kill him, but he has extremely good hearing, meaning those things will be extra loud and even painful to him (such as Dinah‘s super-scream)
  • Kryptonite’s radiation prevents Kryptonians from getting energy from solar radiation, and since their planet is much bigger than Earth, thus much heavier, and laced with kryptonite, they never developed powers like Superman’s on their world… until they left it… and experienced those powers starting… on worlds that DIDN’T have kryptonite.
  • lead (can block his X-ray vision, though it shields him against Kryptonite’s radiation)
  • Lois Lane (love)
  • magic
  • nuclear weapons (can knock him unconscious)
  • psionic attacks
  • red sunlight (solar radiation from a red star); this apparently can weaken/kill Superman, if not other Kryptonians.  This is because Superman is not a reincarnation of the Sun God (of Krypton/ians), but the result of a lineage stemming from beings/people who were made by (or in the light OF) a red star, thus they cannot approach/resist it; it would be like a new vampire trying to overpower its elder/ancient/parent vampire.
  • sensory overload (because his senses are so sharp/long-range

How we defeated 3D-printed Superman copies/clones battling our IC MD prototype/s:

  • first blocked out all sunlight to the area
  • then teleported each Superman to a place where no sunlight or even starlight existed
  • and only used trace amounts of red-sunlight or synthesized kryptonite to wrap up each fight/match

We could have used Lois Lane to get to him, but that isn’t The Inisfreean Way.

Thanos:

While Thor is a part/half-Jotun, Thanos is stronger, plus smarter, more skilled, and more resourceful than Thor. Thanos uses magic like Thor, so Thor cannot best Thanos in any battle –without help.

Spec’s/Superpowers:

  • strength:  base-strength is stronger than the Hulk; *unassisted (no Infinity Gauntlet, etc.), Thanos can heft 120,000,000 lbs. (60,000 tons; 10,000,000 lbs. more than The Titanic)
  • plus Thanos increased his strength with magic, matter manipulation, etc.

Thanos’s weaknesses can be found here.

How we defeated 3D-printed Thanos copies/clones battling our IC MD prototype/s:

  • by-mind technology; brain-interface beams
  • teleported him away

Even with the Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos can’t make it work in the presence of Auz or his Inisfreeans; their mere proximity calms it down, making it work for them instead of its wearer.  The laws that govern it bend to their will.  Sometimes its user even forgets they have it on.

The Hulk:

Arguably the strongest being known to humans, this troubled scientist has rarely found a match.

Spec’s/Superpowers:

  • always resurrects when he dies; semi-immortal
  • amp-ing:  Hulk can charge up to high levels of strength (but Thor by far has the highest base-strength)
  • bounds:  he can jump 3 miles up, and apparently across continents
  • gets stronger, the angrier he gets (but his intelligence goes down)
  • immune to “fatigue poisons”; doesn’t get tired; endless stamina (at least for 7 days, at least when at full-rage)
  • immune to fire/heat/explosions
  • regeneration; will heal from anything (and can regrow entire limbs) –and this includes repelling poisons and chemicals
  • resistant to psychic attack and telepathy
  • strength:  like Superman, he has lifted billions of tons at once (150 billion, to be precise; he caught an entire two-mile-wide mountain that was thrown at his team of superheroes, and another time… a single punch from him destroyed an asteroid twice the size of Earth –and then there was that one time he clapped an entire dimension out of existence)

The Hulk’s weaknesses can be found here.  Times the Hulk died are here.

How we defeated 3D-printed Hulk copies/clones battling our IC MD prototype/s:

  • vulnerable to adamantium and vibranium, so we learned those metals’ properties, and found ways to produce alloys and fields that are even stronger
  • use our by-mind interfacing/beam technology… to stop the part of Hulk’s brain that allows him to feel/get angry/upset
  • trick him with illusions and decoys, instead of trying to enter/control his mind, and keep him angry; so his intelligence stays low, getting him to fall for repeated tricks
  • so we found ways of freezing him –or pushing him away with nukes –or using a gravity-trap (blackhole-based weapon) to get him
  • he isn’t immune to black-holes or anti-matter
  • not resistant to “knockout gas/es”
  • put him somewhere where his endless strength is useless… like a pocket-dimension, as if he is adrift in Deep Space
  • rage-nullification; from a calming voice, other calming-techniques, cute puppies, etc.

The Hulk, no matter how strong he is, or how angry he gets, cannot damage anything in Inisfree (not even a flower or single Inisfreean hair).  This is because everything in Inisfree is made indestructible, and locked-in that way on the subatomic level (and other levels).  It is also because everyone in Inisfree begins to feel calm and at home/peace; they become incapable of wanting to destroy anything there –or to even think of such acts.

Thor:

Thor and Superman have the same level of strength, it is said, but Thor is millennia older, and has magic; enchanted homing-hammers, etc.

Thor’s hammer doesn’t actually have a weight; it is enchanted, so it feels heavier to those who are unworthy of lifting/wielding it; this means its weight changes.  It doesn’t matter if it was “forged from the heart of a dying star”; stars aren’t what humans assume/teach/think; stars are One/Source essence/manifest/condensed, meaning they will do what anything in/near them thinks/focuses on, meaning that any material extracted from them, and used in the creation of devices/tools/weapons, will manifest what the maker/user/wielder wants –and in the case of Thor’s hammer, due to the enchantment spoken into it, that is: being too heavy for anyone to lift unless they are how Odin defines “worthy” (which is what he was thinking/focusing on when he wielded the hammer).  This is why Thor’s hammer doesn’t fall straight through any building or table he sets it on, continuing to the core of the Earth; it stays only as heavy as it needs to be in order to not be lifted by anyone other than “the worthy”.  The more an unworthy person exerts, trying to lift it, the heavier it gets, and the instant they STOP trying to lift it, it becomes a normal weight/hammer again, thus never falling/punching/pounding THROUGH anything.

* Auz’s effect calms this enchantment down; so he can lift/wield it like a normal hammer, but the hammer still rumbles foundations… because it is made of a star; its material naturally manifests more of what the wielder/toucher thinks/wants.

Conclusions:

Since those guys/beings have the strength to move and break planets, and don’t seem to be permanently killable, the only way to be stronger than them isn’t by finding better/revolutionary materials to make artificial muscle-fibers or impenetrable skin; the way to overpower/defeat them is to develop ways to bypass their powers/strength.  In other words, we focused our R+D on prototyping and commissioning devices/augments that can delete those things out of existence (as in:  delete mountains, planets, and those super-beings themselves).  We also figured out how to tap into their minds, targeting the part/s that triggered/maintained their powers/supercharges; we can turn off those parts of their brains, or make them forget they even have powers in the first place.  (Thus, our IC MDs have shadow-sabers; black-hole weapons –which can, for example, bypass Mjolnir’s enchantment to only be lift-able by who Odin deems worthy; we can just delete that hammer with a swipe of the shadow-blade.)

Plus, no matter how fast one can run, swim, or fly, if they are telekinetically held in place, they aren’t going anywhere.

Auz:

Auz’s calming power keeps Dr. Banner from turning into the Hulk, and can RAPIDLY calm the Hulk back down until he returns to normal human form.  His calming presence/power can ALSO prevent Superman’s eyes from shooting lasers.  Since every Inisfreean and Inisfreean vehicle/ship is an extension of his will/power/s, any close contact with any of THEM will ALSO do those things; they ALSO naturally calm all the heroes/people they meet down to normal levels.

Auz’s power is so profound, that he can calm down a planet so it no longer feels the need to orbit its star.  This is especially true when he focuses this intent/vision with/into all his Inisfreeans/fleet/s.  If enough of them focus, it is possible for them to even calm down and change the Laws of Physics (as everything, they’ve found, is all based on belief/assumption/manifestation, ANYway).

This may also be why the cold seems to always leave him feeling happy and energized; it’s already calm, so his power isn’t exerted on anything, and he doesn’t need to focus.  That, and, of course, calm/still places are what he always sought, and don’t remind him of his hellish childhood.  Now do you see why Antarctica always called him home?

Beyond that, he and his people (and everything they make and move with) can enter the stars.  Stars are thought by humans to be too hot, thus “bound” to burn up anything that gets too close to them.  What humans didn’t understand, though, is that the stars were just creating a lot more of whatever was brought near them; humans were mindlessly angry little death-cult beasts, so the closer they got to the Arch Angels they perceive as lifeless stars… the more their own anger and death-focus/obsession burned and killed them.  (Auz, on the other hand, naturally calms and unifies things, uplifting and worshipping them, so the stars do the same for him, thus allowing him access in/to them every time –and the stars especially loved how he instinctively and tirelessly overcame humanity’s death-cult false-deity, speaking spells boldly against him/it many times every day for years; stars are light and life, and The Way to all realms, not some imaginary and plagiarized non-deity based on death and being sedentary/lazy/slothful.)

And on that note, it means Auz could calm down the angriest of superheroes, take them toward/into the Sun (or any star), and then let go, leaving them there… to be overcome by that star manifesting a hell of a lot more of whatever was inside their head and/or heart.  It’s a good thing Auz never would –unless they provoked him.  Amen.  (Amun-Ra)

2022 Update:  Mandaloriday-silo Scale-model in Minecraft

2022 Year-end Notes:

The “shadow sabers” (black-hole technology of these creatures) don’t operate within the fake physics humans assumed / taught / tried to manifest; they operate on the real physics I in Inisfree have my ICVs teach and maintain.  For example, they cannot delete or harm anything I love or would love, and can only harm and delete things I do not love and would not love.  They only absorb/delete/remove things in their path which I would not want to exist, and never even irritate, let alone hurt/injure, anyone/anything else, no matter how they are swung, and no matter the focus of the one/s wielding them.  Amen.

Just imagine something that looks like a black-hole star, but small enough to be handheld, and in a line/tube form, not spherical, and which only absorbs that which I intend it to, and which never fails or dies out (like humans assume some stars do).

Also, nothing which I want these devices to absorb/delete… can escape the gravity of their passing; when they are swung even within feet of targets I intend to be deleted, those targets/masses/objects always get sucked in, never to be seen again –souls and all (and, of course, Mandaloridays and their shadow-sabers being ICs; Inisfreean Constructs, whatever/all they absorb gets instantly de-atomized, turned into slush-fuel/material, and evenly dispersed for all our empire to use –or store indefinitely/forever; this is Inisfree; we overcome, force-convert, and make use of all we encounter, amen).
