Details:
Cora was working and living near Central Park where she was rescued by Auz, more or less. Out for one of his daily walks and jogs, he happened upon the aftermath of an attack which had left blood on her hands. She was in shock, as most people would be, so the seasoned Marine made quick work of getting her to safety and away from the eyes of the primitive human police. It was actually her superpower of running that did the trick, but only after his steadying hand and voice brought her back to her senses.
The two then did some unwinding at his hotel and its lobby-side restaurant, and have since gone on to Inisfree and France together. Cora told him about some exceptional chateaus he might want to check out, and those have since inspired their likenesses in Inisfree. In thanks, he gave Cora’s favorite to her the next time she arrived; it is now her personal house whenever she is there.
In Inisfree, Cora enjoys both learning and teaching various forms of art at the city’s art academy. She was an art teacher for a while before, and feels right about having come ‘full circle’, returning to it. She also reads a variety of the books housed in Inisfree’s Library of Congress II building.
In the Outlands (areas beyond Inisfree), she is helping to preserve much of the art ferried across the oceans by the Leviathan ships during the tumultuous aftermath of the global clean-up operation, and to rebuild some of the art galleries and museums deleted off the face of the planet during that event. Auz has spoken with her about keeping an eye on things there, specifically so that religious fanatics do not again vandalize, confiscate, or hide-away any of the art treasures like they did for so many generations in the recent past. Whenever she suspects someone is mis-handling valuable pieces, she contacts him and his Inisfreeans intervene.
A side-project she and Auz have been working on is seeing just how fast her ability lets her run; once in a while, she’ll run between the rebuilt cities, surveying things as she goes. When she sees how far she can run ‘cross-country’ (over open terrain; off the paved sidewalks and roads), one of the Inisfreeans remains cloaked and keeping pace from above with her, just in case she needs any recovery nutrients or an even speedier exit back home. Cora has proven fast enough to run over the surface of water, even when it has waves, though walking on it is still impossible for her; when she stops running or gets knocked down, she falls in.

2022 Update:
High King Auz has been treating her to more paradise-level vacations in his private city, Inisfree, where he maintains a chateaux just for her. The two make love on the way there, there, and on the way back every time they are together. Cora loves him and runs superspeed circles around him every now and then just to show off how much he energizes her and brings out her playful side.
She is now his girl every time he returns to France to explore more of its countryside, chateaus, ruins, and more.
As of this Summer, he has started affectionately and jokingly sometimes calling her “Hot Flash”.
