In some MMORPGs, such as World of Warcraft, there are auction houses where players go to put items up for bid; whoever places the highest bid, within the available amount of time to bid set by the item’s owner, gets to pick up that item the next time they go to that auction house. This can be done in Inisfree in the SexCraft MMORPG, too –but not just with items; girls are also up for bid. Here’s how that is facilitated:
AUCTION HOUSES
Since there is no money in Inisfree, the way you get the best kajirae at the Auction House/s is by offering up the best items, such as rare-drops which you no longer need for quests. Items, rare-drops, kajirae, and help with orienting and questing, are the forms of currency in this MMORPG.
The trick is to offer up an item that is valuable to others, but not SO valuable to YOU that you will have to rePLACE it for a quest LATER; offer up just barely enough to win the auction and get the girl/s being auctioned there that you want. Learn how to ‘balance the scales’. This is how to be a financially-responsible citizen in this civilization which doesn’t technically have finances.
Winning auctions gets you more XP and Status Bar points than just participating, though participating still helps, and IS the entirety of some of the mid-level quests. Practice makes perfect, so practice, practice, practice; get familiar with the structure and nature of the auction houses, and auction things there often. Bid even more often if you can.

Layout of the Houses:
Auction Houses in Inisfree often look like a normal office building on the outside, sometimes with Spanish-tile rooftops, and like a temple on the inside. There is a stage against one wall, a sitting area, a standing area, and a model’s runway connected to the stage’s center and extending out like an elevated walkway bisecting much of the sitting and standing areas. Windows for what appear to be bank tellers are on another wall, and they are who you speak to in order to put items up for bid, as well as to accept items you successfully bid for. The back wall is often blank, while the wall opposite the tellers has an arched entryway connecting to the street or meadow outside.
Free-persons sit or stand in the sitting and standing sections of each Auction House. Slavers bring girls (kajirae and kajirae candidates; fresh captures) up on stage, cracking their whip to signal the girls to assume various poses for displaying their beauty. Masters bring their girls (kajirae) in the back door to a backstage room where the girls are sorted and locked (by collar to wall-mounted racks) in jail cell-like cages. There is no way to get to where the tellers are, as they are all NPCed ICVs in a room without any way for player characters to get in.
Inisfreean police are usually on patrol right outside each Auction House in Inisfree, and whenever an NPC kajira or NPC kajira-candidate is without her Master nearby, the Inisfreean police-girls promptly gently apprehend her, marching her into the nearest Auction House so that she may be bid for and trained by the bid-winning free-person as soon as possible. Players with kajirae characters can only avoid this automatic action of the Inisfreean police-girls if the kajira they are playing has been branded a kajira, collared by a Master, and given a quest which is still active in their inventory. Otherwise, their character will be approached, detained, and sold at auction right away, meaning the player will have to do what the new owner/Master commands, lest swift punishment (and possibly re-auctioning) be administered.

Exchanging Goods Without Auctions:
Outside the auction houses of Inisfree is the option to open up a trade window between your character and the character of another player on your same server. Using the in-game chat, you can decide on what you two would like to trade with each other. Once you have taken the requested item from your character’s inventory and moved it into the slot icon in the trade window, and once the other player whose character yours is trading with has put the item you requested in his/her trade window’s slot icon, the game’s programming will automatically give each of you what was sent to you, closing the trade window, thus completing the fair trade. You’ll have the most luck with this if you join a guild; players there will be much more willing to trade with you, and much more likely to have in storage somewhere something you need or want.
–
The Three Types of Exchanges:
There are three ways to trade for what you want or need.
- approach a ‘bank teller’ (NPCed ICV in an Auction House), open a trade window with her, put the item you want to auction off in the trade-window’s slot icon, set the parameters for the auction (minimum bid, maximum bid, deadline), and confirm your inputs, returning to check on the auction results whenever you can
- open a trade window with the character of another player (and this can be done both in and out of the auction houses)
- use the in-game chat to haggle with the slavers directing the girls (kajirae) around on stage, until one of them is happy with the fired-up crowd and the quality of item/s you are willing to hand over (in a trade window with the slaver of the respective girl), at which point you can approach the stage –or meet them at the back-entrance so the show of other girls can go on, uninterrupted
You could also use a group-access / ‘community’ storage space in your residence, such as a slot icon down in one of the underground silos beneath your residence, as a ‘drop box’; you and others, usually just those in your guild who you give access rights to your residence, can leave items there as a ‘free for all’. This works like a library where approved members can check out and return items at their leisure. There is no guarantee you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for, or that it will ever come back if someone feels like keeping it –or if it gets damaged, broken, lost, stolen, traded for, or auctioned off beyond– but it is still, technically, one of the possible ways to exchange goods within this game.
