Intro:
In 2020, when their four kids were turning 2, their dad put on their first backyard concert.
In 2023, when they were turning 5, he put on a 2nd backyard concert for them; he had waited a few years so they’d be grown up just enough to rehearse with him, and join him in performing some songs, for that one.
He had also planned/scheduled annual backyard concerts here for them until they had turned 18; in 2033.
While the kids were at other houses in the neighborhood with their friends for midday, the servants and ICVs decorated the cabin for their birthday party which would start that afternoon when mom and dad got home from their jobs. “H-A-P-P-Y B-I-R-T-H-D-A-Y” in colorful, shiny, big letters hung from the patio awning rafters. Picnic tablecloths got draped over their handful of picnic tables just out past it on the grass lawn.
There would also be a bouncy castle in the middle of the backyard, and a couple dozen water guns, from the size of pistols to assault rifles, laid out around the outdoor jacuzzi.
Most of their mom’s pets (minus those temporarily sent off the previous month to establish lives of their own nearby, and minus the giant one; her kraken), plus the gnomes, were invited.
- Her bat, Fluffy, could swoop from guest to guest, getting to know everyone.
- Her bull, Bama, could roam the backyard slope, maybe giving the brave guests saddle rides.
- Her dragon, Apophis, was always welcome, though of course everyone understood if he was still wary/shy around humans –and many of them were obviously still nervous around any dragon.
- Her gargoyles were already there; perched on the roof, in view, like always –though those on the front corners of the roof would move around to the backyard side for the party.
- Her gnomes were just a short walk away; out in the tree-line/caves somewhere.
- Her hellhound, Brutus Shadow, could lie down beside her two wolves, all of them getting a couple treats a piece.
- Her minotaur, Asterion, could sit on any chair, or at any picnic table, with anyone else.
- Her wood-elf could also sit and mingle anywhere.
With only these few dozen people, it would be one of the family’s smaller celebrations –and just right (since recently the High Queen had known it was the right time to send most off for a while, back to their own lives, thus everyone ebbing to reinforce and further grow their individual foundations/centers).

Sequence:
Ariel cooked several things from the cookbook he’d published, so everyone would have a full meal, not just cake.
Melissa 2 helped set the tables, serve everyone, and (after the party) tidy up.
These two, with the help of an ICV, would bring out the birthday cake once everyone had settled in.
Their kids had also gotten gifts for each other,
and dad, of course, had gotten gifts for them.
A dozen of their nearby friends brought presents, setting them on one of the tables, to be opened after the cake candles were blown out.
Once they and the other invited guests had arrived/appeared, the live music began.
Fluffy woke up after sunset and flew this way and that across the backyard, curious and skittish, often seeking out Auz, Ambi, or one of their four kids, to hang from so he felt safe while interacting.
While hanging from them, he let the guests approach to offer him little bits of fruits, and sometimes to even gently touch him, though he more than once squeaked in brief panic and hid within his wings’ embrace, peaking out at them as he wiggled his ears and flicked his tongue to get all the sensory information he could.
Their dad performed some of the recent songs he had discovered and liked,
and they joined in to help perform the ones he had recently taught and practiced with them.
His bandmate ICVs covered all the instrumentals and backup vocals for the rest.
Those who wanted to dance… got to ‘let loose’ all across their backyard –and they were all careful not to accidentally step anywhere near Neveah’s “flower patch for mommy”, which was still where she’d started it years before.
Between performances, dad munched on his plate of the supper.
Throughout the birthday party, everyone else had free access to the plates and food.
Once they all were feeling nearly full, it was time for the expected big dessert.
A pyramid-shaped cake as big as a wedding cake was brought out, each side a different color (their kids’ individual favorite colors), each side having 1 of their 4 first names written on it in icing, each side with 1 wax-candle in the form of a “6”.
Several oo-ed and ahh-ed at it; it was really ‘something else’; Ariel had worked another culinary wonder in their kitchen.
Traditional conical birthday hats with chin-strap strings were passed out, and everyone put them on. The non-humanoid guests who didn’t have opposable thumbs got helped by those who did.
The gnomes and everyone else who could sing and new the song were invited closer to stand in one group and sing Happy Birthday to the grown-looking four.
With the four kids standing around the table, closest to their big cake, everyone else was in a circle around them, some resting an arm around the shoulders of their adjacent fellow guests.
As the final words of the final verse were being sung, their four all blew the four candles out from all sides at the same time, and everyone clapped and cheered –and Ariel used her illusions superpower to make mini-firework puffs and sparkles all around them for a few seconds, which they thanked and hugged her for.
Polaroids and other types of photos, plus videos, were taken of them celebrating with their friends and the other guests. They’d be added to the family scrapbook/photo-album in the days ahead.
Their kids cut everyone –gnomes and all– pieces from the big cake, revealing that it was a layer cake, each of its four tall layers one of their kids’ favorite flavors, and once those dozens of cake slices were all put on plates and passed around with forks, everyone dug in and sometimes offered to feed each other.
A servant got their outdoor fireplace going, its growing swaying flames casting romantic firelight on the stones of their side patio over there, in view of its outdoor jacuzzi.

Outro:
A big group-hug centered around momma while they were all still outside was at the end of their evening party.

A.I.-art Cake Concepts/Features:
No matter how specific I was, the generators just kept adding stuff I hadn’t asked for, and not showing what I asked for. Still, this group of images is a pretty good start; they mostly get the overall ‘shape’ (form) ‘down’, and sometimes the texture, and some of the colors. You get the idea.
