Note:

An odd name, but one that still works; this is where all the living that doesn’t fit into the other rooms’ categories happens.  Most people use their living-rooms as home theaters; they often place a couch, a matching chair, then coffee table, end tables, and a TV or entertainment-center piece of furniture in them in some way.  In Inisfree, these rooms are treated like lounges; they are semi-professional casual gathering places complete with at least a piano.

Dimensions & Layout:

Living-rooms of the homes of Inisfree are typically the largest rooms in the house, second only to the given house’s master bedroom.  They are also generally central to the layout of the entire house, as well as connected to the foyer, kitchen, dining-room, and breezeway.  Some also connect with a balcony and the garden- or crop-room.

Special Features:

Unlike in the living-rooms of most homes outside Inisfree, ours almost always have not only a nice sofa, but also a king-sized bed.  This is because we have a culture based on being open, relaxed, inviting, sexual, and showy in a good way.  Most house parties always have at least one group of three (a guy and two girls, or three girls, for example) enjoying each other on their living-room bed.  You’ll also find that most of these beds are circular, not square or rectangular, and hang from the ceiling rather than being supported by ‘feet’ on the floor.  ‘Sex swings’ are also a common piece of furniture in Inisfreean living-rooms for the same reason.
