History and Origins:
’Repulsine’ is the name given to a type of engine based on implosion and electromagnetism, whose operation results in the generation of an energy field which ‘hugs’ the hull of certain vessel forms and greatly reduces, if not wholly neutralizes, the forces of gravity, air friction, inertia, and others. After the pioneering work of Dr. Viktor Schauberger and many others, which made interplanetary travel (long-distance Space-flight) possible long before the advent of the American National Aeronautics and Space Administration (N.A.S.A.), and the Russian Federal Space Agency, personnel at Base 211 in Antarctica continued to refine and advance this aerospace engineering work, eventually leading to the modern, miniaturized versions of the original Repulsine engines we see today –and much larger ones.

Distinct Difference:
The original repulsine sucked in air from the top center, compressed it, and pushed it out the bottom (though repulsines could be oriented like airplane engines, for example, to provide lateral thrust). Ours do not need to suck in air or push it out; they work based on the same principle/s as the repulsine, but with energy, as well as with/via intent/thought/will, and the fabric of reality itself. This makes ours more like the ones seen on/under “UFOs”; they, like simpler repulsines, are spinning internally, and producing vortexes/vortices and energy fields, but they are not limited to a helicopter-like air-pulling/pushing effect.

Signature:
Though Inisfreeans have the technology to use simpler means of transportation, such as combustion engines, they tend to use warp-drives, black-hole manipulation, and other advanced types of propulsion and guidance. In the case of these city-sized Repulsines, the ‘fuel’ is a mercury-based solution accelerated in hollow tori (the concentric and alternately-rotating rings of gyroscopes) until it becomes a mercury-based plasma, resulting in profound anti-gravity and gravity-manipulation capabilities, giving Inisfree an easy lift-off from any world. This technique also makes it not only possible, but even easy for Inisfree to escape event-horizons and other strong gravity concentrations and anomalies.
Inisfree has eight of these Uber Repulsines (named such due to their uniform, one-mile diameters; because they are gigantic and more advanced than their inspiration and namesake); four of them at the city’s corners just below its surface (ground-level on the inside of the city’s Perimeter Wall), and four of them in a smaller square formation just up inside the lowest level of the city’s lower hemisphere (just above the city’s bottom dome cap, sometimes called its ‘keel’). This is a signature engine formation because most aircraft have either one engine on their nose, or an even number of engines on their wings at either side, and most saucer-based Spacecraft have either three or four propeller or Repulsine-based engines arranged in a circle of nodes at even intervals protruding from their undercarriage.
In short, our signature engine-system is a formation of 8 giant 3-ring repulsines, thus exponentially more powerful and precise (not to mention with multiple redundancies), and ours do not need to be partially exposed as bulges on the underside of our craft (our city; Inisfree), thus they are “uber” (above/better) in multiple ways.

Effects:
As stated above, repulsines allow any vehicle they are part of: to
- cloak,
- shield itself,
- hover,
- phase-shift,
- and travel (even time-travel, in this case).
Cloak: Cloaking happens because a “gravity envelope” is formed around a craft when its repulsines are turned on; gravity bends many things, even the direction of photons/light, so you wouldn’t be able to see with the naked eye a craft that is flying or hovering based on this engine/phenomenon.
Shield: A gravity-envelope also works as an energy shield; a forcefield; the same manipulated gravity that bends light around it… also instantly bends just about everything else around it, especially much slower-moving things, such as projectiles (e.g. bullets, missiles, shrapnel, or debris in/from a tornado, etc.).
Hover: Canceling out its own weight based on this gravity manipulation/mastery, easy indefinite hovering becomes possible, no matter the size/dimensions or mass/weight. Angular-momentum from 6 motions inside each of our Uber Repulsines also makes for extremely stable hovering, as the speed of the 3 rings, and the speed of the 3 volumes of fluid inside them, as well as the tilt/aim of any or all of those rings, resists any tilting/tipping, pushing from wind or water (or even cosmic events, such as supernovae explosions and black-hole “pulls”)
Phase-shift: This term relates to the state of matter of the object/vehicle being effected by its repulsines; its phase/state can be carefully changed within mere degrees, at least relative its environment/surroundings. In other words, a repulsine field / area-of-effect / gravity-envelope can allow the object/vehicle within it to move without worrying about collisions, as either 1) things are pushed/”bent” out of its way (such as air particles/friction), or 2) it becomes so stably energetic that it, for lack of a better way of putting it, “steps outside of the normal fabric of spacetime that humans consider to be reality”. In short, a repulsine-based/assisted craft can “skip” across space/Space, not having to plot courses avoiding planets or even stars, never worrying about impacts/intersections, at least in the case of our version of this technology. Things will seem to move through it, or it through them, thus, for all intents and purposes, it can be said to have changed its state/phase; it can be said to phase-shift, at least in this relative sense/way.
Travel: Tilting one or more of the spinning rings of these gyroscope-based repulsines aims their (collective/sum) force/push/pull in the respective directions. Their are rings-orientations which result in our craft (Inisfree) moving in one direction, and speeding up or slowing down. Spinning the fluid inside these rings has a similar effect, and that effect also results in moving through time, not just space, so when we want to travel like humans are used to (just through space/Space), we activate the speed and tilt of the rings accordingly, and when we want to (alternatively or also) travel through time (i.e. to other points in the timestream, or even to other timestreams/dimensions/realities), we activate the speed of the fluid in those rings accordingly.

Options:
There are four basic/main ways our repulsines allow us to pilot/reposition/reorient our city;
- 2D, vertically: Inisfree can be flown straight up and down like a reusable rocket ship.
- 3D, like a normal aircraft: It can be flown aerobatically like fighter-jets in a dogfight.
- 1D; firmly stationary: It can also just hover and make extremely precise movements in order to sightsee or gently dock without disturbing any nearby people/towns.
- 4D; time-traveling: It can even be maneuvered just as impressively (i.e. aerobatically) through time, and to other timestreams/realities/dimensions.
Computer signals passed from the Governor‘s mind, through the Inisfreean Neural Network (I.N.N.), to the Grid Mind, and then on in one of the Inisfreean computer-and-programming languages (a.k.a. ‘machine code’) to these Repulsines… allows for the instant (Ansible-based) manipulation of these flight control devices. Paired with the incredibly precise data coming in from Inisfree’s nearly endless sensory nodes (its equivalent of sense organs for sensory perception), this allows the entire city to ‘turn on a dime’; to be flown and otherwise maneuvered as precisely as if one was using their own body to carefully sit down exactly where they wanted to, or to fly through an Olympic skiing race, passing just millimeters around every guide flag at lightning-fast speeds. Repulsines also allow any object their field coats and surrounds… to stop in an instant –without any change in G-forces acting upon its occupants at all; Inisfree never needs to speed up, slow down, or maneuver gently to cater to human passengers. It (and all Inisfreean vehicles) can begin moving at top speeds, come to a full stop, and make 90° (and ANY-degree turns) immediately.

To be more precise, the following Repulsine orientations lead to the following forms of flight:
- When all of the Repulsines are pointing outboard, each one away from the others (the top four pointing out and up to the ‘vertices’ of the imaginary cube surrounding the Inisfreean Perimeter Orb), the result is a very motionless Inisfree. The amount of Repulsine force exerted by these Repulsines can then be fine-tuned to ensure that each one is ‘pushing’ outward just enough against whatever other forces are outside the city, keeping it essentially anchored and stationary amidst what would appear to humans to be nothing at all (the void of Deep Space, for example).
- When all of the Repulsines are pointing in the same direction (such as down, for example), all of their force is directed together, leading to the most rapid movement. (And, when paired with the force of the Uber VTOL Shafts, this is enough to propel Inisfree through stars -to include black-holes.) This allows the entire city to instantly move sideways (or ANY-ways) out of the way of whatever object(s) it might wish to avoid.
- When all of the Repulsines are pointing outboard, but at the same downward angle into the same hemisphere (such as the lower hemisphere), this allows for a slower acceleration up away from the surface the city was landed upon or hovering above.
- When all of the Repulsines slowly decrease their power (but don’t change the directions they are pointing to), in Space this results in a continuation of acceleration in which the city is accelerating the whole time, but accelerating less and less as the power is dialed down in the Repulsines. Within the gravity of a planet, and when hovering up, this would give the city a parabolic speed; slowing down in its direction of travel as gravity began to pull it back toward the surface of the world.
- When all of the Repulsines point out in directions resulting in their outbound force lines forming an imaginary swastika, the city will rotate like a spinning top –or like the rotation of the Earth and similar planets. The sharper (more acute) the angles in this orientation, and the greater the power is dialed up in the Repulsines, the faster the acceleration into this spin will be. (The inhabitants would not feel like they were in a state-fair spinning-UFO ride, though; they do not feel centrifugal force like in a normal spinning object/craft, as the repulsines in this case are actually using a bending/warping principle/effect, resulting in the city reorienting itself in a way beyond the forces felt by those outside in “normal space”.)
How do you point a sphere full of rings, though?
The fluid inside each of the three rings inside each of our repulsines is spun at different speeds, the ring with the fastest-spinning fluid producing the greatest effect/force/pull. To aim that effect/force/pull, the ring in which that fluid is spinning… is tilted/turned. When we want to turn in one direction while remaining unmovable in another, we “spin up” and tilt/aim one ring; this is how we can precisely control the pitch, roll, and yaw of our entire city –just like beings in “flying saucers” do for their own craft.

Power Magnitude:
Most “flying saucer” engines/repulsines are the size of basketballs or a bit bigger. The TR-3B one-ring variant is bigger than most beach-balls. The TR-6 “Telos” engines are about as wide in diameter as an average American house is from side to side.
Inisfree’s repulsines are gigantic compared to those things, completely dwarfing them. Their rings’ circumferences are hundreds of times longer than those of the smaller aforementioned crafts’ engines. An Inisfree’s repulsine is also capable of lifting 19.73 billion times more weight. At full spin/speed/power, Inisfree’s 8-repulsines system can lift ~46.7 trillion tons (which is ~16.7 times the weight of the whole city, mountain and underground portion and all). At 1% power, this system of linked super-engines can lift ~467.1 billion tons (467,088,000,000 tons, to be more precise).

That means that at ~6.1% power/spin, we can not only cancel out Inisfree’s entire weight, but start to lift it up and make it fly. Imagine what can be done at 100% power to these engines. Inisfree can disappear and fly/maneuver around very quickly if need be.
Even if we could only use 3 of the 8 repulsines in this system of ours, they could still levitate and fly the city very reliably/stably –and still at just 16% power.

(1% power for any of our repulsines results in a cancellation of 58,386,000,000 tons of weight.)
(1 of these repulsines, then, can lift Inisfree if operating at ~48.1% power –though it would not be a stable flight, as 3 or more repulsines are recommended/needed to control pitch, roll, and yaw; all three possible directions of movement/tilt.)

Left Naturally On:
Humans back-engineered technology that allowed them to make a one-ring simple/crude version of repulsines, which they then invented special side/supplementary-rockets to stabilize and maneuver. Their system had to be powered by a nuclear reactor. It also had to be turned on and off by a human pilot inside the craft.
We not only used the original/full 3-ring repulsine system/technology, we also figured out how to build it so that its natural state was on, its internal fluid always moving at a speed optimal for our purpose/s. Our system doesn’t need to be powered by any reactor, nuclear or otherwise, and we don’t need to spend time firing it up or cooling it down/off. Our pilot is the craft itself; its pilot/brain is The Grid Mind, which naturally always lets its maker –High King Auz— take the controls.
The natural state of each of the 8 repulsines deep within Inisfree’s ground/rock is to eternally spin the fluid within their rings at 6% power; our city is always at near-zero weight, thus always ready to fly/teleport in an instant, no delay/wait needed. This allows us to make split-second population-protection responses/maneuvers, never needing to evacuate anyone. Whenever it would make sense for us all to relocate with our city somewhere, all it takes is one command/word/though from the governor, Auz, and then it is done.

RPMs:
How fast is the mercury-based fluid inside each hollow ring of these three-ring gyroscope-based repulsines moving? To figure this out, we’ll compared them to one of their inspirations, the TR-3B. Here’s the math:
A TR-3B is ~30′ across/wide;
its electro-gravitic engine-ring/tube/toroid is ~10′ diameter;
the ring has a circumference of ~31.42′;
the fluid inside it is traveling in a circle ~30′ long/around.
60,000 RPMs along a 30′ circle/path…
is 1,800,000’/minute (or 30,000’/sec.)
and
in an Inisfreean giant-repulsine mile-diameter ring/tube:
1,800,000’/minute = 108.5147287644212 RPMs
(because the circumference path is no longer 30′, but 16,587.61′)
so even though it sounds like a TR-3B moving its fluid at 60,000 RPMs is faster than us moving our fluid at 108.5 RPMs,
we are both moving our engine fluid at the same speed; 1,800,000’/minute,
as moving that fluid at that speed produces the desired energy/effects.
(and moving it TOO much faster than that might exceed the structural capabilities of our repulsine rings/tubes)
*We designed our system to have circuit-breakers which automatically prevent the fluid from reaching an unstable speed.
It only takes a bit more electricity/power to move that much extra fluid in those repulsine rings/tubes…
because there are more electromagnets built into them;
we have in each of our repulsines’ rings more magnets to move more fluid,
but a proportional increase of both magnets and fluid from the smaller/original/UFO-sized repulsine/s,
thus not a faster speeding-up of the fluid in our system,
only the same rate of movement change/increase.
We also have magnets facing the opposite angles/direction all around/in the rings;
we can switch power over the them to DEcelerate the fluid in any ring or all the rings.
In short, Inisfree can accelerate very quickly, all without draining its own energy sources/batteries, and it can decelerate just as quickly, also without making anyone feel a change in their weight/gravity.

Where Does that Power Come From?
How much electricity/energy does it take to keep our giant repulsines on/spinning? None; they were designed and built so that the magnets and other components in them naturally/automatically keep the fluid moving through the hollow rings at the rate that is ideal for us.
What about the electricity/energy needed to increase their spin/rotation up toward 100%? Comparable to Tokyo’s electricity usage (~283,700 GWh/year; ~777 GWh/day), and because our repulsines are already in a state of motion (thus much easier to spin up even / a little faster), Inisfree would need just a few more GWh’s worth of electricity/energy ‘pumped’/directed into its repulsines system over the course of a minute or so, assuming it wanted/needed to increase its repulsines’ rings’ fluid speed by several percentages of their capacity in that same/short amount of time. This is where our black-hole-based recycling technology comes in; we tap into distant free-energy sources, such as stars, directing a very tiny fraction of their energy through fully-controlled filters and converters until it reaches the components of our city/repulsines which can then be dilated or contracted to precisely set the percentage of their spin/power within their capacity/limit. Our technology also allows us to open up energy-tapping/siphoning portals like that… to anywhere; we can even be fueled by taking some of the void/Abyss/Space itself.
We don’t need a reactor to get any of that energy. If ever we have a reason to stop tapping into the energy of the stars, we can switch over to a combination of
- auroral/ionosphere,
- bioelectric/thermal,
- geothermal,
- hydroelectric from our tributaries and canals,
- piezoelectric from our streets and walkways,
- sonic from all the sounds we make,
- solar,
- vril/chi/sexual,
- and wind.
That has always proven enough to keep our repulsines and everything else on and optimal, tested brilliantly by our supercomputers (Grid Mind and ICVs).
Plus, we have superhuman members of our alliance and family who can use their powerful minds/abilities to spin-up or spin-down our repulsines for us; we have no dependency on any outside energy/fuel sources, nor on any we generate mechanically within.

God-level Deflection:
UFOs are said to have an energy-shield effect that can automatically damage or destroy missiles or other aircraft that get too close them; anything that gets within range of the energy their hulls are designed to naturally keep hugged around them… can appear to just fall apart in mid-flight, no collision with the actual UFO/hull possible (or, at least, any surviving parts that make it through and touch the hull… are extremely weakened and slowed down, therefore likely to only barely ding it and bounce/fall back off/away). Now imagine that same effect… and how much more powerful it would be… if coming from the same type of UFO engine/s… but millions of times bigger, billions of times more powerful. That is how Inisfree is able to withstand the blast of an exploding star; even a supernovae can’t harm Inisfree or its people visiting/within.
This is also part of why even demigods and full-fledged deities cannot use their senses or other superhuman powers to peer into our city/realm; there is just too much energy –on the level of the stars themselves– blocking anything we don’t want looking/coming in. Even “magic” (advanced science / higher levels of energy) can’t penetrate. This is Inisfree, amen.

Settling Down:
It used to be thought that in order to dislodge Inisfree’s upside-down dome of a landmass from the rest of the surrounding terrain/landscape, it would have to fire all its Rainbow Cannons at once, but that was later determined to be useless, as they didn’t have enough of a field of fire to aim that far down or inward down there. Then it was thought that maybe a larger version of a ColonyPod city-erasing beam could do the trick, but Inisfree didn’t have one of those built down near its Keel Hatch. Years later, we realized that all we would have to do is ‘spin up’ our repulsines system just enough (~1-2% of its maximum power) to warm/soften where the rock of its lower-hemisphere (upside-down ‘dome’) once was still connected with the rest of Antarctica.
Whenever Inisfree needs to lower itself onto a spot of land it is approved to ‘anchor’/stay/settle on, it just slowly dials down the power to its repulsines, reducing their spin over the span of minutes, resulting in the forcefield around it… slowly ‘dying down’… until this has lowered the city down onto that spot, heating and melting the terrain beneath it out of the way (the same way a UFO energy field stops other aircraft from making contact with its outer hull)… until this process has created a miles-wide bowl-shaped impression/depression in/of that spot/land. Black-hole technology also ‘vacuums’ up/away a volume of land/rock beneath Inisfree equal to the space/volume Inisfree’s lower hemisphere needs to take up; this prevents more-severe earthquakes and terrain deformation at/around the landing site. Once Inisfree’s repulsines system is ‘spun down’ to only 6% or less, the spherical energy field/shield around the city (‘deformed’/stretched only by the corners of its perimeter wall) is such that it only keeps the surface-area (not ‘points’) of contact between Inisfree’s lower hemisphere and the new bowl-shaped landing-crater/site warm but not molten/fluid.
ICVs out on patrol, such as in Inisfree’s Sentry Towers‘ deployed Inisfreean Fighter-Jets (FJs) are among those who keep an eye on everything below; they make sure no one is anywhere near where Inisfree is about to land. If need be, they help move them to a safe distance. This is the Inisfreean Way.
(Also, anytime Inisfree has to settle on a new landmass somewhere on Earth or in any of the other realms, it uses its Rainbow Cannons to recreate its defensive system of concentric moats/trenches; these are left behind on the icy surface of Antarctica anytime Inisfree leaves its construction/starting-location.)

but that doesn’t imply those move faster than light/photons (which may just be a form of electron);
it could also/just mean… gravity is attraction,
and attraction tends to overcome most/all other forces,
the only exception being when something is ‘slingshot-ed’ past numerous attractive/ing objects that happen to move near its path in just the right way…
that never causes a permanent circular (or eccentric) orbit to develop…
These Repulsines of ours, paired with the way we interface with (and think about) them, are what allow us to get all those people (made famous by the ‘fictional’ writing done about them) to and back from Inisfree, no matter where they are in terms of OUR space, or the dimensions (or time-streams), or the eras of time. In other words, the Repulsines in Inisfree, and in our people (the ICVs), can open up portals through Space, time, or other dimensions, allowing us to look as though through one-way glass, as well as allowing us to travel and move objects freely between them. We can adjust blood, memories, auras, and just about anything this way. We can reinsert people into the exact moments from which they volunteered to come and visit us from. This type of drive/engine is responsible for it all. When an unexpected storm happens, such as those that wiped out unauthorized human settlements, it very well may be because a Repulsine opened that warp/rift/portal/doorway.

2022 Update: Additional Notes
Spinning a wheel stops it from tilting/falling.
Spinning a wheel IN that wheel stops it from turning around.
Spinning a third wheel in THAT wheel stops it from falling even with no rope hanging the whole setup.
Now add fast spinning liquid metal fluid solution inside, and even air friction and time can no longer effect it.
The more you spin them (3 wheels and 3 wheel-like fluid volumes/forms inside them), the greater the stability.
Now to cause motion, bend space and use portals, thus not really moving the craft at all.
The uber VTOLs help when slowing down the repulsine parts’ spins.
The Rainbow Cannons can all work as tractor beams, too, or repulsor beams.
A normal flying saucer generates a shield field that hugs its hull and melts apart jets or missiles that touch it,
and a shield generated by my much larger repulsines has proven strong enough to instantly de-atomize anything, even nuclear blasts, magic, gods, you name it.
Furthermore, the field is not just mindless and dominant, beyond our control; like electrons changing direction, the whole field does my will, and only my will, as it is born of me, made of my own exclusive particle/substance/element, etc..
It is also a ‘smart’-field; it only deletes/converts all I dislike, while always letting me and my hot-wives through.

1 other wheel stops turning.
1 more wheel stops being pushed.
Fluid inside 1 can make a shield.
Fluid inside 2 can make a bend/portal.
Fluid inside 3 can time-travel portal.

Power can be supplied the old-fashioned way (via power lines; electrical cables) through the two connections from the inside wall of each repulsine hollow sphere to the outermost hollow ring in them, however: these repulsines were designed so that their natural state, requiring no power, is at idle, specifically ~6% of their maximum speed, which keeps them 1) negating many forces, such as gravity, from acting in unwanted ways upon Inisfree, 2) already in motion, thus requiring far less energy to “spin up” to higher percentages of their capacity, resulting in the imperviousness to even nuclear and cosmic events, even temporal ones, and 3) maintaining the semi-permeable ‘smart’-membrane/bubble/shield around the whole city, whose upper half is known as the sky-dome.
Made of SRC, their magnets also do not lose magnetism like human-operated magnets do; ours are not exposed to the assumption fields of decay-obsessed chaos-incarnate NPCs. SRC mimics other things, and does so indefinitely, as long as it is High King Auz’s will. Since he wants Inisfree’s giant repulsines to work forever, the SRC which formed their magnets will always be magnetized the way those magnets were meant to be.
If ever these repulsines (rings) stopped spinning, the city would 1) no longer be weightless upon its resting spot, 2) no longer have a forcefield-like sky-dome protecting its local temperature and wind, while also acting like a mirage concealing its landscape and surface buildings from observers outside the city’s perimeter wall, and 3) not be able to hover, maneuver (fly), or open portals to travel technically without moving. Inisfree would still be invincible in that stationary state. It just wouldn’t be mobile, hidden/camouflaged, or able to protect its own atmosphere –and filter the people and aircraft approaching it.
The giant repulsines of Inisfree are like some of its organs, if you compare the city to an animal. Like a heart, they stay on and operating consistently. Whenever a person decides to move more, his/her brain knows just how to adjust how his/her heart and other organs are operating, facilitating that intended movement change, and it is the same overall way for the partnership between these repulsines and the city’s brain, the Djinnifer supercomputer originally called The Grid Mind.

When not on a bigger land, would Inisfree repulsines still work? (Would they be able to turn it, not just move the fluid inside their hollow rings?)

The spinning top has a little motor inside it which unevenly pushes, tipping it slightly, over and over, thus maintaining any spin you start, but this means it is pushing the spinner one way…by pushing the surface it is on the other way, so if the surface is not stable…it would turn the top one way…while turning the surface the other way…and that would eventually mean it would/could lose energy and tip over.

In Space, it would only have itself to push off of, so wouldn’t it not stay spinning upright, and start to turn on another axis, still tipping over?

Liquid in some of its hollow rings in its repulsines spins, and its repulsines are anchored in spherical cavities. - Second, it has 8 repulsines, so they can work together.
- Third, it gets energy from anything, such as stars or love or willpower or Space itself, so it can keep feeding those spins in its repulsine rings.
- Fourth, it has VTOL shafts.
- Fifth, it has a fleet of much bigger ships which can act like tugboats.
- Sixth, it has actual deities who are able to help if needed.
- Seventh, it has a supercomputer directing many other supercomputers, always testing and perfecting its processes.
- Eighth, it is stationary 99% of the time; it relocates to a new spot, then “parks”/anchors there.

But what is causing the planets to stay rotating…and the stars?
They are just rotating in Space; aren’t they running out of energy to spin?
Perhaps orbiting stars helps them keep spinning as slowly as they do…for as long as they do.
Sometimes they do tip over, though; we have evidence of these “pole-shifts”, such as how Uranus is so tilted.
Do they also have willpower keeping them moving like this?
Are their spins opposite the Sun’s, like how 2 gears turn each other opposite directions?
Also, there is basically zero resistance to the planets spinning; no surface they are spinning upon, and no air friction, thus their spins, while slow, keep going for billions of years.

With no resistance, it doesn’t take much power for Inisfree to move, big as it is.
Even when escaping a planet’s gravity field, it has so many sources of energy, and such a rehearsed ability to open portals and skip distances, that its powerful giant repulsines are more for keeping it stable and energized…than for moving it.
They are more for opening stable portals…than they are for levitating or turning the city.

October: Since even the mercury solution in the hollows of these mega-gyroscopes’ rings is based on SRC, technically no traditional electrical energy increase is needed to “spin up” one or more of the volumes of fluid in these rings; they instantly naturally do the will of me, Auz, as bodypart-like extensions of myself.

Safety systems ensure that these mile-diameter mega-engines never all direct their force the same way; Inisfree is prevented from being rotated the same direction perpetually.
A new gen’ of this tech’ is being dreamed up; how to direct the force out to spin not the housing/city, but the entire realm/Universe (or, at least, selected regions/volumes of it), and even… whether time itself, or time-spheres, can be reoriented via similar principles.

Note in these images how the first repulsine a human designed was based on one spinning ring (a disc, more accurately), and how more-advanced craft used multiple spinning rings, some themselves filled with something spinning (i.e. commonly a mercury-based fluid accelerated until it became so energetic it was in plasma-state/phase). All of them are still repulsines; the latter are just “next generation” variants of this technology.

Gyroscope Evolution:
These images show how the first gyroscopes were simple; they were just metal rings on a stand/mount. Later gyroscopes were designed to be able to sustain spinning at much higher speeds, and that allowed data from the computer/s monitoring them to detect virtually instantaneous changes in orientation (such as pitch, roll, or yaw; tilting in any direction, across any plane). These later gyroscopes were used for things such as airplane and missile guidance.
All we did is what “the aliens” often did; we combined the original repulsine with the gyroscope; we figured out how to put multiple repulsine-devices in a gyroscopic formation/framework, and then tested it to confirm the results/effects we anticipated/calculated.
