Introduction:
‘Via’ is another of the Inisfreean terms for ‘street’. All streets and highway sections in Inisfree are named after females the Inisfreeans admire (i.e. those King Auz found to be sexy). If there is a shrine-mansion dedicated to a girl, and ICVs made in her likeness, you can bet there is also a street somewhere in Inisfree with her name.
–
Which Names Go Where:
“Main characters” (goddesses/deified) have their names assigned to major streets and highway sections. “Form-sakes” (the sexiest females spotted by King Auz and/or his Inisfreeans during their expeditions) have their names assigned to minor streets.
–
Concept:
Having the names of these sexiest of all females in Creation helps us remember, picture, stabilize, honor, immortalize, re-manifest, summon, and be soothed by them. These are spells, just like those written down elsewhere; whether in spell-books, or made with salt or other substances, they function the same way; when you see, think, and/or read one, it brings something powerful back into the forefront of your mind. The more you see/think/read a thing, the more stable and perfect it will be; the sooner it will return, the sexier/stronger it will be/remain, and the longer it can stay.
–
Some of the Minor-street Names:
These names are assigned to streets within neighborhoods, not to the main streets or highway-sections leading to/from a neighborhood entrance/exit.

Foot Patrols:
Inisfree is a resort city and healing center based on full compatibility between all its citizens, residents, and guests. As part of that culture and focus, its ICVs know to always have at least a few of them on every section of every street/via; they know the importance of being flawless eye-candy out there, warmly greeting and assisting everyone walking or otherwise passing by –and they love to get to do this, as it is built into their very nature/s. Since ICVs have a shared/collective consciousness, they also know when any of them nearby should step out to strut and smile around whenever one of their ‘sisters’ (fellow ICVs) is busy helping someone, no longer able to do so herself.
At all times, day and night, for the rest of time, every via (street) in Inisfree will have at least a few of these happy ICVs strolling or bicycling around along it. The same is true for all the hiking, jogging, and bicycling trails in our realm. The only part of our network of drivable surfaces the ICVs don’t walk and bicycle on is our highway itself.
Specifically, every ~50′ or so, you will see at least one ICV, she will always be dressed very sexily or not at all, and, if you are an approved guest or resident, she will be very happy to see you.
–
Additional Notes:
There are no fire-lanes/curbs –because our firetrucks can hover and fly.
2024 May: We do not have “dead end” signs. We have “cul-de-sac” signs.

- 15: schools and alleys
- 20: residential curves
- 25: residential
- 30: farmland curves
- 35: farmland
- 40: suburb curves
- 45: suburbs
- 50: downtown curves
- 55: downtown
- 60: hwy ramps

- 70: hwy loop

- 80: hwy straight long
- 150: street races
- 235: double carrier
- Before 2024, the thinking was that since different combinations of drivers and vehicles meant factoring in different driving skills and (vehicle) performance abilities, speed limits would be based on those combos, not “one size/speed fits all”. While that is still true in our realm, repulsines and other tech’ of ours has made it so that all vehicles on our streets can speed and maneuver almost identically, excepting of course for size/turns (motorcycle vs. truck turning-radius, etc.). That said, our A.I.-assisted/-infused vehicles will move themselves at the speeds posted above, based on where they are driving, excepting when the driver chooses temporary manual control/steering.
…
Street Signs:
What makes my street signs unique:
- They all light up at night; white text and rounded-rectangle outline.
- Their background/base is not a single color, but like the holographic/iridescent/pearlescent/rainbow-effect stickers.
- They have ‘raised’ font; like braille.
- The metal pole that holds each sign up is not a hollow rectangular prism with holes at intervals on all four sides,
but an SRC-based cylindrical prism that can bend/flex/sway out of the way, if needed, and then, like memory-foam, restraighten itself; ‘smart’-poles.
…
Street-type Definitions:
- Road: anything that connects two points, usually narrower (fewer lanes) than a street (perhaps 2-way, thus 2 lanes, plus 2 shoulders and sometimes a turning lane in the middle where a median would otherwise be), and often (in the Outlands) asphalt instead of concrete.
- Way: a side street off a road.
- Street: a public way with buildings on both sides. These often run perpendicular to avenues.
- Avenue: also have trees or buildings on both sides.
- Boulevard: a wide street in a city with trees or greenery on both sides. There’s generally a median in the middle of a boulevard. (Most paved drivable surfaces in our realm have medians, excepting in some neighborhoods.)
- Lane: a narrow road (thus being referred to as a single lane), often in a rural area.
- Drive: a winding road that has its route shaped by natural features such as a lake or mountain.
- Terrace: a road that runs along the top of a slope.
- Place: a road with no throughway.
- Court: a road with no throughway, that ends in a loop or cul-de-sac.
- Plaza or Square: (the encircling/bordering street of) an open public space that’s surrounded by businesses or streets.
We didn’t much care for those difficult-to-guess-the-definitions-of terms, so we came up with our own; our paved routes, excepting our highway, are each named ending in “Way”, as we are not just honoring those named, but reminding ourselves and them of their feminine/heavenly/sexy lifestyle/mannerisms/movements (IOW: the way they are/were).
