Life Summary:
- 2486: Dan Sawatari enters this reality/life on a planet the humans call Jiangyin.
- 2489-2503: age 3 – 17, He grows up doing well in school and tinkering with his father and friends in their garage/s, starting with Legos and Tinker Toys, then rapidly progressing to homemade circuit-boards and robotics.
- 2504-2506: age 18 – 21, Attending university after taking many Honors and Advanced Placement courses in high-school, he graduates a year early with a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering. He has been tinkering and prototyping things that entire time, giving him extra hands-on experience which translates very well to both military service and the private sector. He is commissioned as an Ensign into the UAP, with his contract guaranteeing him a slot in one of its warship’s Engineering departments.
- 2507-2511: age 22 – 25, During the Unification War, he completed all the usual duties/tasks of an Engineering officer, earning a good name for himself, as well as a promotion or two. He was glad to not have seen direct-combat, and proud to have served in a more non-violent and less karmically-threatened billet/role.
- 2512-2516: age 26 – 30, Winding down from the challenges of that years-long conflict, he accepts orders to be “seconded out” to the USS TNH, and finds the Inisfreeans aboard it (not just the ship itself) fascinating –both from an engineering standpoint and in general.
- 2517: age 31, The talented engineer is now considering options for exiting the Alliance military with a career trajectory for, perhaps, the Blue Sun Corporation.

2530s Update:
Dan has become a valued employee of that mega-corporation 34 Tauri is both famous and notorious for. While he hasn’t been cleared to use any of the gadgetry or knowhow he applied daily aboard TNH, all of that still highly classified by the UAP, he has still continued working with some of the brightest minds and most complex devices in his solar-system. Through the Blue Sun, his work has reached and improved the industry and quality of life on several 34 Tauri worlds, and Dan’s post-military career promises to remain a rewarding one.
