Introduction:

Narissa grew up in a prominent family on the homeworld of her humanoid race, Romulus.  Their people out there, at that time, had a lifespan maximum of 250 years (Earth-years or Romulus-years?), though the norm was 200-230.  When she came of age, a secret society on her world introduced her to an artefact which transmitted to her and the rest of her group of initiates gathered around it that day… a series of images that nearly overloaded, traumatized, and killed them all; many committed suicide shortly after touching that artifact… and only Narissa had been strong enough to remain calmly standing there until the leader of that ritual guided her hands back away.

Milestones:

  • Romulan officer and member of at least one of their secret societies
  • Starfleet officer
  • assumed to be an evildoer and then KIA (2399 A.D.)
  • was rescued at the last second by the Inisfreeans who had been watching her and others of her kind since their Mapping Campaign
  • now protected by what she calls synthetics, and treated extremely well by them, she has realized that not all of synthetic life is out to get her kind, and has changed her tune –somewhat; at least to the Inisfreeans

Narissa & Auz:

Having scouted her people’s territory of the Milky Way galaxy in the early 2200s, including instantly sensing, recording, and processing all their minds/memories and likely life-trajectories, they were able to forecast the coming of Narissa as easily as humans predict major weather events within the week.  The Inisfreeans were ready and waiting for her when she ‘arrived’ (was born), and secretly watched over her ever since, letting her develop naturally on her own.  Regardless of how she did, they knew they would be interested in her, and she would be the first one destined to represent all Romulans everywhere.

She appeared to have fallen to her death inside a Romulan war spaceship,
but the Inisfreeans had been monitoring her and the rest of her kind who were deemed compatible with them, and seized that perfect opportunity to clandestinely teleport her to safety.

King Auz politely requested contact in person with her not long after she was evacuated right in the middle of what would have been a fatal fall from a high place in the derelict Borg spaceship she was on Black Operation in.  They had debriefed her in one their cloaked Spaceships nearby; she was helped in an MPHA to calm down and decide how she wished to proceed.  Obviously, she wanted to get back to her years-long mission ever since graduating from that scary artifact-vision ritual… but she knew the man responsible for saving her life deserved some of her time.

Auz’s effect smoothly won her over, and he convinced her that he would stand with her to protect her people from any threat, A.I. or otherwise.

Obviously, she was surprised for multiple reasons;
she thought she was sure to fall to her death back in that ship after being kicked over the edge,
her people had never heard of the Inisfreeans,
and what her kind called ‘synthetic life’… had just saved her, rather than destroyed her, knowing full-well her beliefs and secret mission.

2400s Update:

Now one of High King Auz’s latest adoring and beloved wives, she is fully aligned with him, ever aware of his wants and needs, eagerly at his beck and call.  This effect has begun extending out to her Romulan associates, and shall eventually across their homeworld and the other places in the Milky Way where they live and operate.  Eventually, perhaps centuries from now, it will positively affect and further-unify them all.

Narissa has been asked if she would like to become the representative of her entire race/species, and even… their secret queen.  Having always felt held back by Starfleet and other commands, she is certainly considering the idea.  Whatever she decides, she knows her husband, High King Auz, will accept and respect it, still loving her to the same incredible and total degree he always has since meeting the amazing woman.
