Life Summary:
- 2481: Vince Nassida is born to a middle-class family aiding in the colonial refinement of his homeworld, Liann Jiun.
- 2499: 18 years old, Vince graduates from his local high school and goes on to one of the UAP‘s Officer Candidate Schools (OCS), where his military and collegiate studies begin.
- 2503: 22, fresh out of college and OCS, he has earned his commission as an Ensign (ENS) in the UAP’s Space Navy. He begins his A-school (“accession training“; where newly-graduated recruits fresh out of Boot Camp go to learn how to do their assigned job/MOS), after which he joins ‘the fleet’ as a military policeman.
- 2506-2511: 25-30, as the Unification War erupts and spreads, Ensign Nassida learns just how taxing military police officer work really is, especially during times of civil unrest and war when Unauthorized Absences (UA) a.k.a. Absent Without Leave (AWOL), stress-based alcohol-related incidents and assault charges, and even desertions and all-out mutinies are sometimes as frequent as the morning Reveille (the morning wake-up call played by a bugle/recording).
- 2512-2516: 31-35, he achieves the rank of Lieutenant (LT) for his years of faithful service during the big war.
- 2517: 36, Lieutenant Nassida is selected for a special duty assignment aboard The New Horizon (TNH) spacecraft carrier as its Chief of Security. Although this new and unexpected tasking by the UAP’s Space Navy Command is initially daunting, Lieutenant Nassida soon sees the meticulous and thorough planning that went into this great vessel, and finds his place and pace alongside its city-sized crew.

2520s Update:
After several “floats” (deployments) with/aboard TNH, he has learned a lot about how police and detainee matters are handled there; he has worked with many other Military Police officers and Marines on that ship, as well as some of the Inisfreeans who help man/guard the ship’s secretive brig/s. Most of his time has been spent on patrol through the rest of that massive carrier, though, and, of course, in its Dispatch Office. For all MP matters and needs, Vince is the man to speak to.

2530s:
Vince has continued his military career, with plans to retire sometime this decade. He has moments of nostalgia regarding all the ‘top shelf’ goings on back in the secret super-carrier, but finds it easy to stay focused on ‘the here and now’ of his job Once he is back out of the service, he’ll take up work as either a Sherriff or State Trooper for his hometown on Liann Jiun.
Having barely known the man who designed TNH, he and Auz have not yet had chance or reason to catch up.
