Introduction:

This is the spot in Inisfree’s airspace which is just below the city’s highest point; the top center of the inside face of the innermost, invisible, energy-shield dome that covers Inisfree out and down to just beyond its Perimeter Wall.  

Named after the highest lookout post and observation deck (usually no larger than a barrel) of large Naval ships, Inisfree’s Crow’s Nest is one of its most difficult-to-reach places, and affords the most epic view of the entire top hemisphere of the city; everything in Inisfree that is built on and above its ground level.

Access:

This position is generally reserved for Inisfreean leadership whenever they wish or need to have an uninterrupted, 360° view of all of the lands immediately surrounding their capital, as well as a view at or above the flying altitudes of most Earth-bound aircraft (such as the fighter-jets which accompany armies), and the only way to be at this position is to have an aircraft capable of very precise, stationary hovering.

History:

It is also a favorite spot where the Governor and his first daughter; the woman who is now 3rd-in-command of all of Inisfree, like to go and enjoy each other in peace, privacy, and ultra elevation, free-falling back to earth the moment they are through.  Yes, they are high on life.

In 2022, Supergirl becomes the first and only woman to ever complete the Inisfreean wedding ceremony‘s wing-suit jump/skydive from up here.
