This is the special demographic which never had/has to ‘ascend’; they are born with superpowers, including incredible awareness of how reality actually works.
While a normal human in modern times on Earth might be able to train for years in order to be fit enough to lift hundreds of pounds, and a demi-deity might be able to lift thousands to tens of thousands of pounds with far less training/effort, a deity can do just about anything he/she sets his/her mind to –and without any training at all (though human-lifetimes of practice certainly make any efforts work out much more smoothly).
Deities don’t just wield the elements; they are forces of nature themselves. They are sometimes even the worlds and stars themselves. If they want to instantly manifest a little flower into existence, or a whole new universe or timeline, they can, no input needed, and no rest afterward –unless they just feel like it.
If you ever get the feeling an animal passing by is much more than it seems, or that the clouds parting and warm sunshine coming through right to you… is someone sending their energy or blessing your way, or that a breeze itself was somehow intentionally reminding you to pause and catch your breath, any one of those could have been a deity coming to your aid, or at least kindly helping you as he/she passed by, noticing/sensing your struggle/quest. Even a tree, or an entire forest, or all forests, can be one. Things you might not have thought of, too; Outer Space may very well be the biggest form of the goddess Hel/Hela, Queen of The Underworld.
While ancients might have the finest clothes made in various ways, deities can cause clothes to appear “out of nothing / thin air”. They also tend not to wear clothes, as there isn’t anything any of the insecure “haters” can do about it; nothing is more powerful than a deity –other than, say, the deity of deities; Auz.
