Organization:
They are ruled by their parent-World Tree and the Maiar (such as Yavanna) who willed/grew that towering stationary being, and (ruled) by their (own) unchanging instinct/s, and rarely ever wear clothes, except when showing respect to insecure youths born into primitive hyper-controlling societies.

Genders:
They are always distinctly male or female, and forever -and happily and wisely- remain what they started as.
The males are always heterosexual and preferring bisexual females, and the females are always bisexual and preferring heterosexual males (i.e. not tolerating any deviation from that).

Abilities:
They cannot shapeshift (with a few exceptions, such as magically-trained royals such as Taja), but they are experts at camouflage (almost to the shapeshifting level Fairies are; with the form of camo’ they (Fairies) call “glamor”), and they remain the size they were born/envisioned to be –which was (in ancient times) taller than the average modern human (back when many other beings/things were naturally bigger/taller; due to different worlds-proximity, gravity, atmosphere, etc.), and now is comparable to the average human (i.e. <6′).
Elves are usually immortal, damn-near invincible, and telepathic, but not telekinetic, and always in multiple forms of mutually-agreeable contact with one another –though their Elf-to-Elf telepathic contact is usually only on-demand (not automatic or race-wide).
Elves communicate telepathically with plants, empathically always sensing how every plant around them is doing.

Races:
Those of them who remained on the outer-surface of worlds, are called Night Elves (when residing in forests; under canopies, keeping them shaded, in dim/soothing/easy light, low-intensity like in the First Time) or Blood Elves (when residing in direct sunlight and honing their use of blood- or bloodline-based magic) or Woodland Elves (when resident in intermittent sunlight; not in a true forest, i.e. under a continuous treetops-foliage canopy),
while those who committed to going/staying underground to help guard the hollowed former-rootways of the World Trees are called Drow (Cave Elves),
and those who dared out into the atmosphere which -in ancient times- spread out so much that it become modern Outer Space… are called El-dar (Space Elves),
their children/creations being more of the same; elves who look and live like their parent-elves.
All their children/creations have their essence; all Djinn, Ents, Fairies, and the creations of those sub-species/-races, are also permanently happily, wisely, proudly, of only the male or female gender, distinct since birth, and never corrupted by the bizarre mutated beings/beasts who are instead based on pointless change/deviancy.
All Blood Elves are White; Caucasian-looking.
All Drow are gray-skinned, often pale because they need little pigmentation, but sometimes darker-gray when their bloodline has often ventured to the surface world.
All Night Elves are lavender-skinned.
All Woodland Elves are White; Caucasian-looking because they spend most of their lives under trees shade.

Attire/Fashion:
the finest fashions, always tasteful, often in neutral, bright/angelic/light, and/or nature colors; earth-tones, forest-greens, accented with silver like brilliant moonlight (excepting the Blood Elves, who lean more in favor of bright reds and gold, but almost always also with rich diaphanous purples), etc.

Tolerances/Element/Environment:
feeling their best when closest to the biggest and healthiest trees, thus deep in multiple-canopy forests

Vision:
They perceive mostly in 3D, but some of their elders (such as Galadriel) are easily capable of using various techniques to peer into 4D; they can then see a lifespan (though not an entire world’s time-stream or alternate reality/universe) much like how a human can change whether he/she is focusing on an object up close or far away.
Their slightly bioluminescent eyes do not hinder their ‘sharp’ vision at all.

Level:
Only the most powerful magic can block an Elf’s vision/senses –and even then, only temporarily (as all Elves will eventually sense / figure out what is going on, and get around it, often with the help/power of plants they have mastered the use/mixing/enchanting of/with); whatever he/she (the Elf) chooses to think about and focus on… will become perfectly in focus and known to him/her.
Newer/younger Elves, and Elves weakened by being outside their territories/’element’ too long, can succumb to lesser magics, but they are quick, alert, and seldom straying that far that long.

Population:
The current number of Elves is more than there originally were, as they were not all created at once (like how Angels and Demons were) by a single Ainur knowing exactly how many there should always be; Elves were created in batches based on how many would be needed for each World Tree at its different stages/heights of growth.
They can multiply/reproduce, but rarely need or want to, as that is not their way/purpose/calling/destiny; Elves’ nature is to focus on worshipping (thus maintaining/shielding) their respective World Trees, and typically only feel an urge to create another Elf during times when such a task would be better carried out by such an addition to their race.

Bodies:
Elves are always mentally and physically exactly what Auz instinctively knew was the only correct way to look and be; their bodies are always perfect, the tits of their females never sagging, the clitoral hoods of their females’ pussies never apparent/stretched, their skin never sunburned or otherwise discolored, and so on.
Elves are naturally ocular-ly bioluminescent, and their eyes can shine as brightly as nightlights, though they often conceal this when mingling with humans or other outsiders outside the Elven territories / tree-base villages.
Their ears are pointy b/c it is like a leaf, their body being like a trunk, appendages like branches, fingers and toes like twigs; they came from the trees, thus they are skinnier, longer-lived, and tree-like like them (like the trees they came from).
Elven home-trees are never twisted/gnarled, nor lumpy.
Elves are always healthily-skinny (supermodel-style, though never anorexic/bulimic-looking).
Their skin is always healthy, as Elves are incapable of the kind of aging/atrophy/withering humans can cause upon themselves.

Interaction:
Meeting actual Angels and Demons is normal everyday life for Elves, as Elves were never corrupted like many humans became –if humans weren’t bad from the start; not even needing to be corrupted.
Angels help keep bad beings -such as humans- away from sacred Elven realms/territories (often by blasting away their settlements with unstoppable holy light/brilliance no ‘dark’ being –or any structure made fragile like the ‘dark’ beings– can withstand),
while Demons take captured intruders (some sometimes still find sneaky ways through the lands occasionally checked on by the very-aware Angels) off their hands, helping the Elves stay focused on maintaining the healthy plant-people (such as the World Trees) and starting/growing even more (healthy plant-people).
Angels, Demons, and Elves see each other as good siblings of the same parent-beings/-race, thus they never argue or even feel frustrated/surprised by one another. Angels, Demons, and Elves automatically sense/recognize and love/welcome one another.

Dwellings:
trees big enough to support their structures –which they never build from felled trees, nor into trees, nor drilling support-bolts into those leafy beings/people; only wrapping them around such trees in mutually-comfortable (to them and the tree/s) and artistic/graceful/refined ways

Advisory:
Elves are sometimes portrayed as stuck up by mainstream modern Outlander human media/shows, but in real life… Elves are polite, not condescending like arrogant punk humans, and Elves are only misinterpreted by default-negative loser-humans as anything other than pleasant to be around.
Those who respect the Elves get just as much respect right back, and the Elves always know who means them genuine respect and goodwill, just as all intelligent beings know when interacting with anyone.

Scent/s Emitted:
They smell like various appealing forest things; evergreens, flowers, moss, etc..

Voices:
All females sound feminine sexy (nothing like that nasal low-notes voice-actress degenerate who did the intro/narration for new Blood Elf characters (the starting-location cinematic/tutorial voice) in WoW), and all males sound masculine powerful, as only modern humans sound frail or nasal or anything else off-putting.

Territory:
Elves have always stayed in or very near forests, particularly where there are ancient/giant/magical/sacred trees, thus have always been in dappled sunlight (komorebi) if not full shade, thus never needed much pigmentation.
Even the Blood Elves are in almost-woodlands; plenty of trees around, and their lands are backed up against tree-lines of vast forests, and they constructed gorgeous signature-architecture buildings to stay shaded behind or inside.
wherever forests are, typically congregating/living at the base of the biggest trees, as well as in otherworldly treehouse villages up in their branches nexus; atop their trunks

Rules/Law:
If it is a threat to plants bigger than those the Fairies are responsible for, the Elves will do their utmost to prevent it from getting anywhere near those bigger plants, let alone harming them. If something actually did harm such plants, and had intended to, the Elves are likely to launch a military strike, if not a full campaign, against it.

Language/s:
often verbal, sometimes written (and their penmanship is among the best), rarely speaking anything other than their Elven dialects, and sometimes telepathically augmenting what they are conveying, though this is more of a learned/honed skill for the newer Elves
switching to hand-signs and telepathy when conducting silent ranger patrols near those not meant to know they (the Ranger Elves) are there
more natural at communicating with plants than animals, but still very good at maintaining peace and teamwork with animals who peacefully frequent their forests/territories

vegan (and, like nearly all races, they never once tried eating nonvegan things; they aren’t anywhere near evil or corruptible enough to ever even be tricked into such barbarism/psychopathy/unethical madness)
