Etymology:

“The name Meru originates from Sanskrit, meaning “high” or “peak.” It is associated with Mount Meru, a sacred mountain in Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist cosmology, symbolizing the center of the universe and spiritual enlightenment.”

That’s no exaggeration; interacting mutually agreeably with this girl confirms her name is completely accurate, deserved, fitting, and powerful; interacting with her unlocks, aligns, purifies, and levels-up the body/ies of her sex partners like few other things can. It is a good sign it was that powerful even several+ years in the future, back then, and/or that it is getting remade/completed here, making this its “round two”. Meru was almost immediately invited to Inisfree (after the prescreening Everyone detected as likely-compatible goes through; she passing it within seconds), and she almost immediately asked Auz to make her one of his wives. Demons will use their succubus ability to suck out the lifeforce/energy/willpower of bad humans, sure, but only because it is demons’ nature to maintain goodness/order out in the dark/er chaos-accented realm/s. Evil humans jump to the wrong conclusion that demons seduce people, and then God sends those people to Hell for lust, but the obvious reality is that those people were already in Hell (in view of Outer Space / on worlds moving Through Outer Space), and God has already generationally-cursed their bloodlines to exist out here/there because they were aGainst normal full-body attraction/interaction/lust, and the demons who get people to sexily interact/play were just making sure there is still goodness in the people they notice / get in range of. To NOT let these outside-Heaven angels play/seduce you is the Real crime/sin. When a priest shows up to do an exorcism, the demon doesn’t leave because “the power of the lord/jesus” overwhelms the given demon; they put on a show, Seeming like they have been driven out, only to return to fuck with those evil/hypocritical/lame/meddlesome humans in Additional/New/Other ways. Demons are smart -far smarter than humans- so they know how effective it is to preTend to have been bested; the priest then leaves, and remains arrogant/cocky, etc.. The only thing that Actually -and only temporARILY- drove out any demons was how boring / prudish those fake-religion fools/minions are.

Male demons usually only possess male humans.
Female demons usually only possess female humans.
This is because this system is the most effective at allowing mind-entry due to familiarity, and body-control due to that same familiarity, plus the given demon always rapidly figuring out, or instantly knowing, what the possessed human needs their help doing.
