Summary:
Every weekend, Inisfree hosts street races along various strips and sections of its Glowing Art Highway (G.A.H.). These races are for anyone who enjoys casual, informal racing in an urban setting. All vehicles authorized to be in Inisfree may be used, with even the mobile houses sometimes, comically, being drag raced.
Our police provide over-watch and security at every on/off-ramp, protecting (never stopping/fining) the racers and spectators. Before traffic is allowed on a section of our highway where one of these races is occurring, or is about to occur, one of our police-girls (since we don’t have policemen) will ask each person attempting to use an on-ramp to that section… if he/she knows about the race there and intends to watch; if they instead mean to use the highway to go somewhere, that police-girl will mind-interface with the autopilot touch-screen in that person’s vehicle, displaying the best alternate route, thereby directing all non-race traffic around/away from all race sections/zones.
The racing is not so much about competing to see who is fastest, but for celebrating togetherness, enjoying driving quickly side-by-side. As always, everything in Inisfree is about compatibility and unity. You won’t see anyone upset if they aren’t the first to a finish-line.
Rewards for being the first, though, are almost always the sexiest girls in Creation offering themselves sexually right there on the spot; winners are encouraged to fuck those girls in front of all the thousands (sometimes millions) of spectators and other racers. Our police often help, if not directly joining in. This is Inisfree; everything here is based on Vril-level total-love.
(Everyone in our realm always gets all the sexiest females they want, as ours is the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth, but during these events.. everyone likes to celebrate/reward the lucky/victors in this way.)
No one races for “pink slips” (transfer of title/ownership) here. All the vehicles in our city, technically, belong to the King, anyway. Everyone gets to design and keep their own in their garage/s, but gambling or trading them would be pointless, as anyone can order a copy of any vehicle they encounter, our Civilian Vehicles factory 3D-printing it for them for free, at which point one of our Inisfreean girls (ICVs) will deliver (drive) it to them (though all the vehicles we make can, of course, autopilot/drive themselves).

Scale:
Based on the illegal street races held at secret and ever-changing locations in many of the major Outlands cities, these events always have large packs of sports cars, ‘soup-ed up’ pickup trucks, street bikes, and more. A pack usually consists of 10 or more automobiles, with some packs having upwards of 100 (typically driving 3 or 4 vehicles side by side on our highway-ramps (since those ramps are wide enough for our mobile houses), thus 25-34 vehicles per column).
At any given point during these weekend evening/night street races, the sections of the G.A.H. they are making use of may have thousands of race-worthy vehicles competing across them, with thousands more parked on the shoulders and grassy perimeters, as well as hundreds more upon the parking lots perched atop giant robotic arms to rotate them so that everyone watching from their vehicles there can stay pointed directly at the racing action.
You will always see at least 1,000 vehicles and as many participants/spectators at every street-race our city hosts, and usually many multiples more of the latter.

Duration:
Inisfree’s G.A.H. street races typically last for up to eight hours at a time (more accurate: each street-race weekend event lasting that long, composed of dozens to hundreds of actual/individual races/competitions between participants), spanning the length of both weekend nights; every weekend, usually at least partially overnight for either or both weekend nights, and starting in the evening, we host one of these races in our realm.
If there are significant fluctuations in Outlander guests at these racing events, however, they may be extended to last well into morning of the second weekend day, and start earlier than sundown (late afternoon to early evening, if Inisfree is in a region where the local star during the current season isn’t setting at the usual Earth-time).
*Our street-races are always concluded, freeing up 100% of our highway system, before Monday-morning rush-hour (though we have made sure to proactively prevent any Outlands-level rush/hour / traffic-jams).

Spectating:
If you’d like to observe one of these races, ask any Inisfreean for directions or a ride to one of the rotating parking lots; these are special parking platforms in Inisfree which turn themselves around so everyone can follow the racing action as it zooms underneath their overpasses. Stay in your parked vehicle on one of these rotating platforms or get out and stand along the guardrails; either way, you’ll have a fantastic view. Race on!

History:
It started with just one or two of these events per year; that was all anyone in Inisfree had time for in the early years. Since 2021, it has become a weekend ‘thing’; almost every weekend now… there is one of these events. In the years and millennia ahead, it will become guaranteed; every time you go out on the weekend, you’ll get a chance to see or join one of these.

As of 2022, the vast otherwise-unused floor of Sotu’s Under-concavity section is now often used for these races, as well as more-frequent practices for them. It is otherwise the least-driven part of our realm, thus the safest for such events. Just be sure to steer clear of the big bowl-shaped ‘depression’ in the middle.

During our Winters (when it is Summer in the northern hemisphere), there is less racing and more stargazing / aurora-gazing (thus more camping/glamping), though still plenty of racing.
During our Springs (when it is Autumn in the northern hemisphere), there is a lot of gardening/hiking since things have thawed and many have waited to do those things. That makes it the first safe/easy time to resume our racing. Even though our roadways’ ‘smart’-surfaces prevent ice buildup, there is no risk of patches of ice during this and the following two seasons.
During our Summers (when it is Winter in the northern hemisphere), there is still lots of racing, but often not as much as during our Autumns; there is more swimming, surfing, and yachting during our Summers.
The most street-racing in our realm often happens during our Autumns (when it is Spring in the northern hemispheres). Even though our official track-based racing season is our Spring, residents in our realm love to get in as much personal / off-track (street) racing as they can before our Winter (when it is Summer in the northern hemisphere) returns.

2024/+:
- No one cares if you win or swap cars in our realm.
- All vehicles here have the same capabilities, as they all come standard with repulsines, A.I., and related tech’.
- Racers race for fun, not careers.
- They sometimes bet each other’s ride-along females. (Enjoy this form of betting/gambling? Then bring multiple vehicles, each packed with such hotties for ‘trade’/wagering.) –Some even bet females, knowing they are entering a losing bet, because one of their fetishes/kinks is making others feel victorious, or at least sharing their fuckbuddies / ‘slam-pieces’.
- Since our tires are SRC-based, they are more or less “beyond” wear & tear; when desired, they maintain their tread/thickness indefinitely.
SRC can mimic all other elements/particles, though, thus tires in our realm can leave tire marks when desired; you can “burn rubber” if you accelerate quickly enough. This means tire smoke whenever such rubber burning is kept going long enough.
(Such tire marks are white (rubber-like substance) on white (drivable surfaces), though, thus rarely noticeable, and they fade (get absorbed/recycled) fairly quickly.)
There are no brake fumes at these events, though, as our vehicles decelerate based on different/other technologies; repulsines/electrogravitics, air brakes, ‘smart’ surfaces which change grip/traction, telekinesis, etc..
