History/Summary:

  • born on Panthera; an alien world where were-panthers are the norm and dominant species
  • transported to Earth during the rifts/portals of The Shift
  • became a bartender
  • had an “on-again off-again” relationship with the owner of the bar/club
  • met Auz in the famous park one evening
  • tried out his vambraces-based method of memories-sharing
  • started having an affair with Auz
  • went to the Himalayas for some time
  • Auz’s technology eventually was able to locate her homeworld, thereby giving them coordinates to later open a portal to
  • broke it off with Auz (due to complications with her jealous previous/main lover)
  • occasionally dared to send a checking-on-you message to Auz
  • decided to reunite with Auz, at which point he introduced her to his growing city
  • felt safer and more wanted with Auz, so she transitioned to seeing him and his place more, even to the point of picking out a home there; she lives in one of the Dickens Village townhouses
  • met her namesake
  • went with a small team of Inisfreeans through one of their Civilian Aerospaceport terminal gates/portals to Panthera
  • now regularly travels between Panthera and Earth, catching up with all her relatives back there/home

2012:

Freya was working at a bar in New York after The Shift that brought her to Earth by surprise in 2012.  Having been used to such places on her home-world, it wasn’t that big of a change for her, though she always wondered what had spirited her away from home.  She accepted the start of a romantic yet troubled relationship with one of the men from Earth she’d known while there.

2013?

(slightly date-shifted due to The Rapture; the following became late 2012 instead)

She met Auz one winter night not far from her bar, hit it off well with him, and became fast friends.  She confided in him that she is both an alien and a shape-shifter, he helped her find where in the night sky her homeworld was, and made preparations to actually get her back there when the time was right.  The two bonded in a very tender and tactile moment then, and kept in touch even when she went to discover more along the Himalayas.

Things got a little rocky when her love-interest got jealous of their time, so the two parted ways.  It was for the best; Auz would have surely fought and maybe even killed the man for behaving so negatively toward something that had been only positive.  Freya secretly messaged him years later, letting him know she’d been thinking of him.

2016:

Fast-forward to today, and it is years after the Rapture, during which he made sure to keep her safe.  She eventually got back in regular touch with him, and found time to come see his secret city.  The city and bar she’d been in had gotten rebuilt, and she once-again spends her working-hours there.

She and Auz will soon be exploring Panthera; the planet she was born on.  He can already foresee its finest Pantherans will be exploring Inisfree, too, thanks to this wonderful woman opening up to him even when she was stranded and truly alone.  The airships and Spacecraft of his civilian air-&-spaceport will provide all the means.

In Inisfree, Freya likes to stay in one of the cottages of the Dickens Village, prowling and roaming around the base of the Avalanche Wall; where the tall trees and cooler air remind her of home.  She rarely stays for long, though, not wanting anyone back in her human city to catch on.  A night or two with Auz in the Valhalla II lodge, or up in one of the glass-domed rooms of the Igloos Village, are what she always aims for.

Like the many people named after a deity, such as Caucasians with Christian’ as their first name, Hispanics with ‘Jesus’ as their first name, Muslims with ‘Muhammad’ as part of their name, and so on, Freya is named after the goddess Freyja (who is another guest and resident of Inisfree).  This always makes Auz smile.  Her last name; Storm, makes him smile, too, reminding him of the first girl he’d shared interest and love with in Kansas, long before making Inisfree.

And, yes, Freya has now met the woman she was named after.  Freyja learned of Freya through Auz, and asked if she wanted to meet her.  The two had a very good first encounter, sitting and talking together over drinks in one of Inisfree’s restaurants for hours.

2022:

She has met the fellow shapeshifter/were-panther, Bela Night.  The two are becoming friends when they are in Inisfree.  It turns out that it is not only on Panthera where people are able to change into this ‘animal’/form.

2023:

She and I (Auz) love going on fuck-dates to club Safari Sierra –where even in her panther form, she fits right in.
