One of the key concepts of sustainability is to work with nature rather than against it. Sometimes this means harnessing wind power, for example. Other times, it means ‘seeing where the wind takes you’. In addition to being able to shift with and benefit from the forces of nature, Inisfree is able to travel great distances whenever relocations are wise and desired. Every thousand years or so, even when the local environments outside our city are perfectly stable, we feel it is a good time to move on, trying other locales, and letting nature take back over the spots we once occupied.
