Introduction:

Groups of dancers and dancing enthusiasts flock around various parts of Inisfree on relatively random days (whenever enough show interest and plan these meet-ups), moving gracefully from one place to the next, often in our downtown area.  These dances sometimes involve Parkour, climbing, and even the rooftops of our skyscrapers.  They are celebrations of life, fitness, and the fun of the ‘flash mob’ concept (a positive kind of mob which doesn’t build up, but instead just begins moving with total teamwork, peace, and loving intent, sometimes even silently).  This is a great way for students of our school system to try out or show off the moves they’ve been learning and inventing in our dance classes!

Specific Locations:

The best chance to notice and watch one of our city dances is on street-level in our Sotu region.  They are also fairly frequent throughout our Apartments Array/Slope.  Elsewhere across our city, you may see them in the White Conex neighborhood or the Venetian Lake apartments, and of course on/across the White Pyramids complex.

Size:

Typically there are dozens to hundreds of our citizens and even some guests involved.

Duration:

These group dances usually last for one to several songs.

Where is the Music Coming From?

The Inisfreeans (ICVs) who always join these dances provide the live music, always with their voices, sometimes also with musical instruments.

Culture:

As always in our city and the rest of our realm, guys dance with girls, and girls dance with either.  Guys dance masculinely, while girls dance femininely.  Guys wear at least something opaque such as shorts, and girls can wear just about anything or nothing at all (and often use this as a chance to show off their new Kno fashions from our city’s mall).

If you have any questions, just ask the participating/nearest ICV/s.

History:

  1. The first of these city dances was in 2013, and was an all-ICVs event to show everyone how it is done.
  2. Weekly since, more and more residents have been joining in, as well as some of our dance-familiar guests.
