These people aren’t necessarily ascended or masters of anything; they are just the longest-lived.  Sometimes that means they figured out what will keep them healthy, in their primes regardless of old they get.  Sometimes they just ended up living this long in spite of not being healthy the whole time; one can live a very long time without feeling their best along the way, after all.

They almost always dress and speak/sound like they come from another time –because they do –entirely different eras/Ages.

Some might choose to blend in with the modern fashions/peoples from time to time, but they always revert to what they are most accustomed to / in favor of.

Sometimes they forget things, having lived for so long, but one of the secrets of human and humanoid life is that not all memories are stored in the brain of the Waking body, and the memory capacity of any individual who chooses to accept this possibility/reality… is/becomes infinite.  In other words, these long-lived people don’t get Alzheimer’s / randomly start forgetting things, and their minds never get filled up.  Eventually, they can accurately recall anything/everything they experienced.

The oldest of them have witnessed, or at least lived through, pole-shifts.  That doesn’t always mean they were on the surface, dealing with towering and fast-moving waves, or interplanetary lightning/fire tornadoes, but many of them can tell you how different the Earth looked before the cataclysms that reshaped it.  This is particularly useful for finding mudflood-buried treasure –on the scale of entire mountain ranges originally built from house-sized blocks of previous metals and even giant gemstones.

2024 May:  Diet

varies, but the easiest and surest way to become an ancient –while feeling one’s best– is to be vegan, of course
