Introduction:
“Everything was created from a/the word/s.” There are so many interpretations of that, but the underlying concept rings true; speaking intention has a powerful creative effect, especially when the intended words can remain on paper, or set in stone, long after the speaker has moved on to other things. This class teaches students how to arrange words so well… that their writing borders on spellcraft.

Writing:
The creator of this class (and all the rest of Inisfree, for that matter) spent decades practicing writing in various forms, always intent on refining his abilities in that field… until his stories flowed. - “mark” 9 (mk9) in military
- “revision” 9 (rev-9) w terminators,
- and “version” 9 (v9.0) in tech industry?
Regarding repressed vs. suppressed memories:
- Both “repression” and “suppression” are said to involve removing mental content from awareness.
- However, repression is generally said to be unconscious, whereas suppression is said to be conscious.
- For example, a traumatized person might involuntarily repress a traumatic memory, whereas a secret government/military doctor/scientist using technology or hypnosis might suppress a classified memory in an operative.

Storage is the act of keeping items in a designated location for an extended period,
while stowage is the careful arrangement and securing of items for transit to prevent movement and damage during transportation.
(Thus “stowaway”, not “store-away”; a stowaway is temporary/briefly.)

In scholarly texts, a petroglyph is a rock engraving, whereas a petrograph (or pictograph) is a rock painting.

Remember: spontaneous recognition of something familiar/known/experienced
healthy means “in good health,”
while healthful means “promoting good health”.
E.g. you may be healthy,
but food can only be healthful
grimdark genre name origin:
“Grim” implies bleakness and a lack of hope,
while “dark” suggests violence and horror.
..
Honobono is a Japanese genre characterized by its heartwarming, feel-good, and relaxing tone, often emphasizing simple, everyday moments. It is closely associated with slice-of-life stories*, but can also include elements like romance, adventure, or even tragedy, as long as the overall feeling is pleasant and positive. A key characteristic is its celebration of simple joys and healthy, affectionate relationships,
..
The term “noblebright” was coined in the gaming community as an intentional opposite and counterpoint to “grimdark,” combining “noble” and “bright” to describe a narrative tone where hope and heroism prevail.
Why not hopefulbright?
“Puppet” is the general term for a figure moved by strings or wires, while “poppet” is a related word that historically referred to a similar small doll, but has evolved into a British term of endearment for a child or a more specific term for a magical doll. Both words are derived from the same Middle English term, popet, meaning “doll”.
A rim is the outer edge of a circular object, while a brim is a projecting edge, usually on a hat, that extends outwards. Both words can refer to the top edge of a cup or glass, but “brim” is more commonly used to describe filling something completely, like “filled to the brim,” while “rim” can be a more general term for the edge of anything, such as a wheel or a basketball hoop.
Gourmet doesn’t mean great food; it means connoisseur OF great food.

Mew is the soft, high-pitched sound a cat makes (noun or verb), while mewl is to cry weakly, like a baby or small animal (verb only), often used for kittens, but it can also describe a feeble human cry; both relate to soft sounds, but mew is distinctly feline, while mewl is broader for vulnerable crying.
“Rizz” is modern slang, a shortened form of “charisma”, referring to one’s skill in charming, flirting with, or seducing another person, often used to describe a cool, attractive swagger in both romantic and platonic contexts
Apple trees are called “wassail” trees because of the ancient English tradition of w assailing them—a ritual to wish them good health and ensure a bountiful cider harvest, stemming from the Old English “waes hael” (be well). This pagan-rooted ceremony involves singing, making noise, and offering spiced cider/toast to the trees to drive out evil spirits and awaken their spirits for the coming year’s fruit.

No dej:
“That” introduces essential (restrictive) information that defines a noun, requiring no commas, while “which” introduces extra (non-restrictive) details, always set off by commas, that don’t change the core meaning, helping you distinguish the right thing from others. Use “that” when you need to specify which item, and “which” when you’re just adding a side note about an already-identified item.

A lawyer has a degree in law, thus can give legal advice.
An attorney is a lawyer who has also passed the state bar exam, thus can practice law, i.e. represent clients in court.
healthy vs healthful:
Using/Consuming only healthful things… makes us healthy.
Lhs culture/writing.
We never say “rewrites history”, b/c that expression is actually insane; nothing does that. What we say is the truth; some things Add a Little bit TO history.
Holocaust, the word, does NOT mean “Germans killed lots of jews”;
it is the roots/parts:
Holo = holy
Caust = cauterize; burn
i.e. Ritual sacred burnt offering,
and it is used that way in their bible/torah,
meaning that when they chose to call the WWII stuff a holocaust,
they were secretly (“hiding in plain sight”) saying they were actually giving a ritual burnt offering,
NOT that they were being persecuted or genocided.

They probably paid those Germans to do it, too, to their own ppl,
b/c they think child sacrifices make god show up / happy.
(and, at times, they are correct; good gods hate modern humans, but no god wants to witness such nightmarish suffering)
..
If they were good, the abrahamics/jews/humans… would stop breeding,
not perpetuate/resume causing suffering;
they’d just let themselves die off/out.

“Specific” refers to being detailed, precise, or identifying a particular, narrow item (e.g., “Bring the blue pen”).
vs
“Explicitly” means stated directly, clearly, and leaving no room for confusion or implication (e.g., “I explicitly told you to bring the blue pen”). While specific adds detail, explicitly ensures there is no doubt
