Etymology:

Remaining patient and polite, he let his effect take subtle hold of her, and within days she was calling him up and asking him back. The level of understanding and support he showed for her and her employees was unbelievable, and it kept her suspicious and guarded for a while, but she had already fallen for the curiously compatible man from the farthest south.

Auz was there for her in a very tough time for her business, and backed it in ways she never thought anyone would. He was reliable and friendly, never once trying to pressure her nor take advantage. When she had questions, he answered them, and provided plenty of character references. He restored her faith in (at least part of) mankind.

Years went by since that first encounter of theirs back in the midst of the Shift before the global clean-up operation. They stayed in touch, though, Camille starting to text and email him more like a friend and curious woman than an acquaintance or business partner. Auz then offered to fly her to his own city for a little getaway.

Inisfree blew her away, especially with how well they reacted to her secret vampire side. Even the other vampires there were very nice to her, even loving. (Akasha, Erika, Jane, Lucine, Nyssa, Rosalie, Santanico, Sarina, and Selene all became her friends, and both Lilith (Mortimer) and Luxianna now looks after her since she, too, resides in New York.) She’d never been hugged so many times, and so warmly, in all her life. She returned to her brothel in rebuilt New York a changed woman, speechless and hoping for more.

Camille now makes seasonal visits to Inisfree, and enjoys helping teach at its Tantric Academy, often with smaller classes hosted at many of the nearby shrine-mansions. The Spanish/Adobe Mansion is where she calls her ‘home away from home’, and she frequents the Shibuyas and alleyways of Sotu; downtown. 2021 Update:

Camille was excited to meet Ariel, and the two shared brothel stories like they were childhood friends feeling free to discuss anything with each other.
