Theater

This theater now doubles as the mansion’s video-game room, and pornos are watched here all the time.  The Governor also enjoys playing high-resolution Minecraft on the movie-theater-sized screen.

Introduction:

This in-home theater is the Governor’s mansion’s answer to the ‘media room‘ concept introduced by some Outlanders.  This theater has king-size beds instead of airplane seats, a movie screen much larger than any one would find in the Outlands, and shows both movies and theatrical stage performances.

Dimensions & Layout:

This room (each of the 5 in-home theaters in this house) measures 100’x150′ across its floor, and, with its balcony level (floor of the balcony at ~20′), stands 40′ tall*.

Rows of beds (with no headboards; just mattresses covered in fancy sheets and comfy vicuna pillows) fill its floor-spaces from the inside walls toward the 90’x90′ movie screen.

Aisles 10′ wide divide these rows of slightly tilted beds into seating (lying) sections.

The balcony’s ledge is ~20′ up, and the seats (beds) of both the balcony and ground floor are gradually higher and higher as one moves toward the back of the room; toward the innermost wall which connects this theater to some of the other rooms of this mansion.  That means that at the double doors / archway through which people enter this theater, the floor is a full two stories (20′) higher than it is at the front. (It is the same change for the ground floor as it is for the balcony because, though the balcony only reaches out halfway across this theater (each of these 5 theaters), its vantages are much higher, so the rate at which their height in increased must be doubled compared to how it is on the ground floor.) So, in order to enter this theater from either the 1st (ground level) or 2nd levels of this mansion (each of its levels is 100′ tall, rather than 10), one must take one of the fancy, wide staircases up multiple stories from the spacious hallways just outside this theater.

Special Features:

Just like room service, food and drinks can be ordered right from your seats (beds), and will be prepared in either this mansion’s kitchen (if it is not normal movie concessions) or the respective theater-room’s concessions stand/room (if it is something normal/easy, such as popcorn) and brought directly to your bedside; in addition to ‘breakfast in bed’, we also have ‘movie food in bed’ –and it’s always served nyotaimori style, of course!

This room is also used for playing video and computer games on the big screen, and every game that was ever made can be found in the memory banks here, every type of controller also being available; stored in the hidden drawers built into the bases of each bed here.​​

2021 Update:

*A major renovation has been added to the Governor’s mansion this year; there are now 5 stacked movie-theater rooms, no longer just the one!  This is because movie screens are ~60′ wide and ~30′ tall, thus only a 40′ ceiling/room is needed for them.  40′ fits into this 200′-tall space 5 times evenly.
(And since each has 88 double / king-size beds in it, together these theaters have room for an audience of up to 2,200 human-sized guests; 2,200 capacity ÷ 5 theaters ÷ 88 bed-seats = 5 people per bed.)

To access the upper theaters in this part of the mansion, you can take either the corner A.I.O.W. or the square service/convenience ‘lift’ on the inside edge of the outer wall (meaning all these theaters have 1 wall-less elevator in them for in-theater use, vs. the rest-of-the-house AIOWs-usage).

2023 Update:  History

1 June (12 Venus on our calendar):  I (Auz) started hanging out with Amber ICV1 and Nyria at my sides on the center non-balcony bed-seat while watching movies made in our city, and playing video games made in our city.

Whenever I want more girls to play with me, I can bring in as many as 440 ICVs per theater (if I want them all to lounge on the bed-seats).  For standing-room or floor-lounging events, that number can easily reach ~1,000 per theater, meaning I can have 1 of each type/model of ICV hanging out and gaming or movie-watching at the same time.  These are my biggest movie-dates.

Eventually, I’ll watch in these theaters all the movies I had my ICVs make/remake in Inisfree.  Once per movie will be enough for now.  The first time watching each will be to really see how I feel about the finished results (thus I’ll save the makeout-based movie-dates for the 2nd and additional watches).
