Pre-military:

1980s: Shipborne and Stolen – Unknown Location, Earth-That-Was: Auzdein incarnates on the then-titled planet Earth, and, despite his fresh Veil passage and nearly-erased reference frame, immediately takes notice of what his ESP tells him is simply and irreproachable ‘not right’. He learns during this first decade of his return the intricacies of many mind techniques to staying focused on channeling his artistic innovativeness.
1994: Riches to Rags – Colony Zero, Earth-That-Was: Auzdein watches as a hapless youth as his alleged-family’s assets are mismanaged to the point of many of them returning to a state of sheer poverty and madness. Having tasted the many joys of the ‘silver spoon’ in his mouth, he deep down staunchly refuses to ever give up the quest to not only restore the lost wealth, but to outshine it more than tenfold.
1995: Pipe-dreaming of The S.E.D. – Colony Zero, Earth-That-Was: Auzdein, still in his early youth, begins detailed plans for his own exclusive organizations; secret societies, before even learning that such things actually exist elsewhere. Among his first creations in this category is what he dubs ‘The S.E.D.’, which will later evolve to go by additional abbreviations, acronyms, and pseudonyms. It is clear at this point that his drive to shape the entire world he knows is unshakable and quintessential.
1996: Elite Team Begins – Colony Zero, Earth-That-Was: Auzdein, being one of a very small few in his local area to choose exercise and holistic fitness as his form of stress release, rather than parties and controlled substances, forms another of his many exclusive organizations; this one, entitled ‘Elite Team’. As its founder and leader, he uses it to conduct live practices of all he continues to research and develop in the field of military sciences. Although its members expectedly scatter to the winds, as they will in several times over in later chapters of his life, the nature of the team, and the fire that forged it, remain.
1997: The Shattering of the Veil – Colony Zero, Earth-That-Was: Auzdein learns of the full spectrum of human emotions for the first time, having grown until this moment in a world virtually isolated from it. The resulting internal conflicts he wrestles with are foundation-quaking, and leave him spellbound and addicted at first.
1998: The Fall from Grace – Colony Zero, Earth-That-Was: Auzdein encounters the full force of several brutal and blind arms of the government, and is intentionally exposed to overkill in a miscalculated effort to re-brainwash and subdue him. This backfires when instantly consumed by his ever-fiery devotion to his instincts and rapid logic, and serves as the first shot and trigger for a holy war that will last the rest of his life. For the first time ever, he dares to question the local god, and Zeus sends him a humbling message.
1999: The Fast and the Furious: -1 – Royalty Road, Earth-That-Was: Auzdein finds the escapist joys of the illegal street races in a giant city fairly nearby his town. Despite gang and SWAT warfare, circling police helicopters, and near-death experiences, he finds much of this pass-time to be enthralling and therapeutic. Having already spent much time during his earlier formative years acclimating to prolonged vehicle vibration exposure, it doesn’t take long before even the fumes of burning rubber, fresh upholstery, and topped-off gasoline soothe, rather than harm him.
2000: Youth and Commander – Shepherd Town School, Earth-That-Was: Auzdein, still reeling from the crushing blows dealt him by the local authorities who continue to harass him, manages to remain in academia and increasing leadership positions. By the time he is ready to graduate more than a year early, and well before his teenage years end, he is already in charge of more than 200 people.
2001: Mission Impossible Reenactment – Local Pig-ape Center for Relatively-higher Learning, Earth-That-Was: Auzdein, having no more ties to the local culture, society, or peoples, can no longer hold his true self in. Donning one of his first sets of clandestine disguises, he makes surgical entry into a self-assigned objective, and is, for the first and only time in his life to-date, detected and apprehended, soon thereafter subjected to even more of the blind, brutal, braindead coercion and clever tortures of the local authorities who only see him as different and therefore bad.
2002: The Wreckage of Airborne Dreams – Lone Star O.C.S., Earth-That-Was: Auzdein, having lost his Congressional nominations and appointments, and later, his composure and ability to focus on his initial collegiate push, finally drops out, no longer able to stomach the humans and their constructs he has been around. As each chapter for him seems to get darker and bleaker, interestingly he does not give in to that which he took an oath against, and it only serves to further a focus on signature art.
2002: Protruding Guts, but no Glamour for the Glory – The Heartland and The Hill Country, Earth-That-Was: Auzdein is introduced to the world of ‘R-P’, which he soon finds is an even better tool for brainstorming, think-tanking, escaping, and reassessing. Once seeing it as ‘escaping reality’, as it was so shortsightedly labelled, he eventually sees it as part of reality, and therefore not an escape at all, but another path.

Military:

2003: Yellow Footprints – The Bear Republic, Earth-That-Was: Auzdein drops his menial labors and condemned shanty, packs up his few belongings, empties his only bank account, and leaves on a wild trek and calling that will take him halfway across a continent; much, much farther than he has ever dared to travel before, and with absolutely no support or way to go back this time. With a crippled vehicle, erased savings, and both gang and drug-world members beginning to swarm around him, he finds an unexpected third chance at a ticket to the world he had dreamt about and studied since his earliest memories.
2004: The Portal of Mars – Arabia, Earth-That-Was: Auzdein discovers the starkly contrasted truths about the local nation’s military machine, and is spirited away from all he knows, across continents and oceans, straight into the heart of one of the worst battles and wars of all time. While others wait months or even years to process, train, ramp-up, and deploy, the gods seem to finally honor his lifetime of military studies and practices, getting him through all of that in a matter of weeks.
2004: Asteronian Jedi Master and The Celestine Prophecies – Arabia, Earth-That-Was: While serving in-country, and between combat operations in the great desert slab of the elder-god Sin, Auzdein meets an unlikely character who gives off the vibe of a blatant masquerade, an otherworldly aura, and an unmistakable interest him as a student and a squire. His incredible researches and questing resumes, and he begins to uncover the rich, literally buried history of the realm he quickly swears to return to, free from the movement and behavior restrictions of the Corps.
2005: Rogue Madji and the Black Spires of The Highlands – Scotland, Earth-That-Was: Auzdein meets his first mage (sometimes spelled ‘madj’ in the older books), and instinctively thwarts a magical (misunderstood science form) attack on him executed as he slumbers. Continuing to explore yet another faraway fairytale land, he collects great riches in useful data which will later come together in his primary city plan, and returns to a base and command that remain none-the-wiser.
2006: Instructor Once Again – The Bear Republic, Earth-That-Was: Auzdein passes on a tiny fraction of what he has developed and field-tested, teaching classes as large as several hundred, and critiquing ranks as high as those of the field-grade officers. Despite reconfirming what his gut had long-since been telling him (about a long-ago lost love), his fire returns to him, growing a bit stronger than it had in chapters past, and his will to teach, develop, and explore resurfaces with it.
2007: Climactic Criminal Culmination of the Corps – The Marine Monastery, Earth-That-Was: Auzdein resumes his Mission-Impossible-esque activities, at first hating the fact that he must task himself with covert and clandestine operations he often wished were ordered to him. His daring operations pay off, though, and far more than he ever expected. Feeling a true and voluntary criminal for the first time, he is amazed at how the gods are allowing him to blossom and unfold.

Post-military:

2007: The Contracting Calamity – The Southern Coast, Earth-That-Was: Auzdein is contacted by a suspicious character, but daringly endeavors to share and pursue his growing dreams and standards none-the-less. His gut proves dead-on again, however, and the whole project blows up in his face, nearly bankrupting him many times over in the process, not to mention endangering his best friends. Abandoning his main pursuit indefinitely, he throws himself into the world of underground parties and raves, never expecting to return (or to have any reason to).
2008: Is You Rollin’? Bitch, I Might Be – Tejas Nation, Earth-That-Was: Auzdein learns the true nature of ‘ridin’ dirty’, becoming one of the very things he had sworn his whole life to hunt and exterminate with extreme prejudice and furious anger. Entertaining flights of fancy about utilizing it (now that he can’t escape it) to restore the sorely needed funding for his main project, he only falls deeper into its proverbial rabbit hole, resulting in one of the most frightening and ridiculously lucky (protected?) moments of his life.
2008: The 5th Corps – The Worthy Fortress, Earth-That-Was: Auzdein becomes a lackey member of yet another Corps, this time in the hopes of re-stabilizing his brain and his pocketbook. His mind quickly notices ways to take what he learns in the new and equally massive Corps, and apply it to his city, which continues to expand, taking up more and more of his time.
2009: The Great Gnashing of Teeth – The Virgin Territory, Earth-That-Was: Auzdein is contacted by yet another unscrupulous, highly insecure Earthling, and ends up raising the bar in all the areas of pain, bafflement, and death-defiance he has ever known. Just when you think it can’t get any worse, it does, and he frequents the alarmingly true expression: “It’s always darkest right before it goes pitch black.” This chapter leaves him looking very close to an Auschwitz survivor.
2010: The Crystallizing of the Grid Mind – Baja, Earth-That-Was: Auzdein watches as visions and revelations begin to merge and fuse within his mind’s eye; namely, that of one of the brains of Inisfree.
